Very nice cafe at Hilton. Amazing desserts and food. And very good cakes as well with a wide selection. Coffee and tea options are available as iced or hot, and very tasty. Once the order is ready, the food/drinks should be picked up from the counter. Good service and ambience.

One of my favourite places for snacks. Their roast beef sandwich is amazing. And not forgetting muffins and croissants. Out of this world!!

We checked out their pie promotion and it was well worth it. Fresh pies loaded with filing. The chocolate pie comes with cream and an amazing chocolate sauce to go with it These are not your tea time pies, they are dinner time pies. Super thin crust and full of flavor

I recently visited Cafe Kai with a friend to indulge in their waffles. The staff was quite friendly, and we placed an order for waffles. Although they mentioned a 15-20 minute wait, it ended up taking around 30 minutes. However, the extended wait was entirely justified once we tasted the incredibly delicious waffles. We also decided to try their iced chocolate drinks, which were not only flavorful but also well worth the cost. Despite the slightly prolonged wait, the overall experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend Cafe Kai for a delightful treat.

Ordered a cake for Mother's day from Cafe Kai. It was called Chocolate Espresso and I got it customized with a wording. It tasted pretty amazing. Also got a complementary birthday cake for my mom's birthday last year, when we dined in at the Graze Kitchen for their dinner buffet. I don't recall what that cake was called but it was just amazing!

One of the best cafe in sri lanka conducted by the hiltion colombo. When we enter to hiltion in the enternce it self in the ground floor in the left side we can see the Cafe Kai. In the way first we can see the cake showcase starting from 3000 Really creative cakes and really tasty.wow the smell is very delightful i really enjoyed the cafe Kai

Ordered a Black Forest cake yesterday 1-8-21. Unfortunately when it arrived the center of the cake was frozen. Only after we called to inform we were told the cakes are not freshly made. they are de-frozen and just icing before sending. Cake didn’t have the fresh taste. Please remember when you order a cake cafe Kai next time.

Thank you Sandaru from Café Kai for handling my request for a cake to be delivered during curfew (10/05/22) Credit due where it must, he was well informed about delivery timings, cakes available, what flavors they were, was very humble and nice. Explained everything in detail. Took the right information down and handled the request well. You don't find many service staff who take initiative in informing themselves about the product they are selling, however Sandaru knew his onions. Was a pleasure dealing with him. Cafe Kai and Hilton - please note how efficient and well informed your employee was, great respect.. Thanks again!

After my buffet I strolled over here for coffee since the ambience was modern and beautifully decorated. There was only one other person in Cafe Kai yet service was seriously poor, lacking attention and speed. Extreme laziness was what I thought. Or were they at a break at 2 p.m.? It was a weekday. The coffee was delicious and the prices didn't break your budget. I enjoyed and begged for the bill and waited a long time and paid and left not pleased.

Terrible service ever. Ordered a cake for a birthday and selected the time slot between 9-12. But had to call thrice and it was delivered around 3 p.m. Had to wait at home cancelling other schedules to receive the cake. Cake was too sugary and not fresh at all. I will never return to this place.

We always visit this place as it has parking and good vibe. Food will take bit long time to come but we’ll worth the wait as taste is superb. Have few healthy options which I like the most.

The food and location atmosphere is beyond the words in a very quality way. However the staff unattentiveness to customer requests is a huge downside for a place like this. They mess the order all the time and even when you order online they don't seem to find the order prepared and have it secured until you arrive to pick it up. Even though the dine-in orders seem to delay without being properly taking notes of the order. Have to go to the counter and ask for a few times to get your food or drinks. Sometimes the staff seems unprofessional in speaking while taking the order too and turns into "I do not care" mode. Hotel management should take it seriously to train or retrain the staff assigned to Cafe Kai as soon as possible before it escalates further.

My recent visit to Cafe Kai at Hilton Hotel left me quite disappointed. Despite their enticing social media advertising of a "waffle wonderland," the reality was far from it. Upon arrival, my party was the only one in the cafe, which already raised concerns. We ordered 5 waffles, and the initial 4 waffles came a staggering 1 hour after we placed our order. By that time, most of the ice cream had melted. To make matters worse, they provided cutlery a whole 10 minutes after serving the waffles, and we received only one knife initially. Shockingly, they served only 4 knives in total, leaving us waiting for another 10 minutes to get the rest of the knives. The fifth waffle, which was part of our order, arrived after another 15 minutes, leaving one of our group without food for an extended period. While the waffles themselves were decent, the overall experience was marred by the painfully slow service, disorganization, and the missing knives. I had finished my waffle by the time we finally received all the necessary cutlery. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their service for future guests. Such a promising concept deserves better execution.

I had ordered their Blueberry and Lemon cake and Rose Blanc which were both pretty good. The Lemon and Blueberry cake had the perfect balance between multiple flavours and texture. I was initially skeptical about the combo between lemons and blueberries, but was blown away by the taste. Plus when you order it to be delivered, they send the cake promptly in a neatly packed container. They even write on the cake tray if you add it as a special request. Highly recommended!

These days they have a waffle wonderland until 10th September 2023. Till 10.00pm its available. Waffles were mount watering and serve with home made ice cream which gives a mesmerizing taste. And apart from that they have variety of cakes and cupcakes. One of the best dessert spots in town.

Shocking service..went to cafe kai at 11am and they had only two crossaints available..nothing on the ala carte menu and no shakes juices..is this hilton or perera and sons....

Ordered Mocha Delight from cafe Kai for a friend’s birthday. It was so yummy and fresh. I selected delivery time as 9am - 12pm and they have delivered it on time. Only issue I faced was there wasn’t a confirmation after the delivery. So had to call and check whether it’s delivered or not. But later day I received a whatsapp message regarding the order confirmation. Anyway they have done their job perfectly so no complaints at all.

I ordered lemon & blueberry cake for my parent's anniversary, it was delicious and moist. First class packaging and delivery. Cafe Kai is my favourite coffee shop. Thank you Cafe Kai.

Staff was extremely friendly and owned up to a payment issue they made and rectified it. But the reason I gave it 3 stars is because despite their very limited menu (which would make you think they'd be faster) they took almost an hour to bring me a Cesar Salad... I don't really understand how that works. Much to be desired there
