Awesome with a great vibe. They have happy hour, a DJ, and a live band here. All three are off the roof! Much Kudos to the band as it got very talented members, can't think of anything wrong to say about them... Highly recommend this place if you are planning to have a good time with friends. Have a clubbing vibe without that bulls***t girls/boy ratio rule placed.. The overall cost of the items are reasonable as well, nothing very fancy but the overall atmosphere is really good making it definitely worth the price 😊

Located inside the Excel world. Had a lunch recently. The food was nice and delicious. The portion is sufficient and worth for the price. Not much crowded at the time we visited. Good service. They have credit card offers frequently. Just ask before paying the bill.

This was formerly known as The Keg, which was quite a popular pub amongst office crowd in the surrounding area. They did a face-lift recently during the latter part of 2020 with some significant improvement to the ambiance and the overall setting. Their staff is welcoming, efficient and extends a great service. They have a wide spread of food and beverages with some quality cocktails. Portion sizes are pretty good and filling. They also have a DJ during most of the days and weekends tend to get crowded. A trendy place that deserves a good rating and a recommendation.

Posting this for the information of others. Went on a Friday night with 6 of my friends for a meet up. Price on the menu card and the billed prices are totally different. And when inquired the reason that they gave was that there has been additional shot which have been added which we never requested. And we were not informed about this when the order was taken too. I don’t know whether they do this to all thinking that they might be drunk. Didn’t got to argue with this regards at that time as it will spoil our day. Please be cautious

Our group consisting of 6 visited this Pub to spend our Sunday evening. Before that, I made a reservation earlier on the day and got a confirmation that the menu displayed on their FB page was available. However, when we ordered, most of the items were not available. Even the bites we ordered took close to one hour to arrive. The excuse given was that the kitchen was busy. However, being a Sunday evening, only two other tables were occupied. Then they explained that the kitchen had to cater to multiple outlets within the Excel World premises and hence they were busy. We left the place in disgust and had our dinner at a different restaurant in Colombo. Never will we visit the Darley Road Pub and Restaurant again.

The service is horrible!!! We went on a Friday night around 9.30pm to this place and when we wanted to order food the waiter said "the kitchen is too busy, so they are not taking any more orders"(like rice, noodle's etc). Since we didn't have time to look for another place we had to order what THEY wanted us to have. Which was french fries and potato wedges!!! At one point the waiter brought us a plate of fried onions and asked if we like we can have this coz one of the customers whom had ordered it has refused to have it. Since we were so desperate we asked him to put it our bill. Also need to mention one of my friends was so thirsty that he ordered a bottle of water and what they brought to us was the brand "Olu" water which the price tag was Rs.350/- something and these people charge us nearly double the price. The best part is they only serve that brand. So either you have it or look for some other place. We came here thinking that it was THE Keg, which used to be a good place with good service. We will never go to this place ever again and hope that the management see's this and try to improve the service. If you can't deliver why keep the store open????

The food was good and the waiters were very cordial. There was a miscommunication with the manager on the bill, but then he later called and apologized.

Good was good Drinks were good Happy hour from 5 - 7 was good (40% off in liquor) Service was very good All in all, can definitely recommend this place for a casual meetup or a group gathering. 10 of us went and all of us enjoyed. Band which was playing on Friday night we went was okay. Nothing to write home about. If you're planning to go with a date or want to experience a more calm ambiance then definitely go before 7 pm before the happy hour finishes. As it gets pretty loud after the band starts playing.

It was wonderful place to experience nice meals with friendly environment. But story jas entirely been changed. Fods are not tasty amd it is not worth for the price. As well as it is relayed to provide meals due to lack of on staff. However it is believed that they will be rectified and being back.

Love the renovations that they have done, which adds more space for the patrons. They now have two private rooms that can be reserved for a group of 8-10 persons. The booze however, I found to be on the more pricey side.

Had a great service and great cocktail they have good food selection, good location for hangout with friends, very clean place also since it's located inside of the Excel park you can access few enjoying games even. If you need separate foods can try the food court too. Only thing the car park is chargeable.

Good service and friendly staff. They have a smoking area outside and is well maintained. Customers can use KOKO app to pay for food in installments. Their portion size is good and reasonably priced.

Went on a Friday night and the place was full. Great atmosphere and ambiance inside the restaurant. Ordered drinks and food. Food cannot be recommended. Ordered 6 mains. Carbonara was supposed to have bacon but it didn’t have any. It was just spaghetti soaked in milk and few mushrooms and it was disgusting. Also you need a microscope to find meat/sea food and in their chicken and sea food fried rice 😅 other dishes were fine. Also service is poor. Very less number of staff to service specially on a busy Friday night. Nobody came to take our order so we had to go and give it. We asked for few seats several times but they don’t really care probably so we sorted it out ourselves. Need to mention about the young employee Chamath. We finally went and gave the order to him because our allocated waiter never came to take the order. Chamath was very quick, friendly and efficient. He gave us a superb service and we were convinced of not leaving the restaurant because of him only. Otherwise we would have just gone out without ordering. Chamath’s service is superb when compared with other senior sales representatives in the restaurant. Thank you Chamatha! Keep up your good work!
