The food itself is tasty. The service staff are courteous. The concern is food safety and catering hygiene. See the images I've included where eggs are next to the garbage and serving trays are washed on the ground next to the garbage. Also as a neighbour I find the owner/ management very inconsiderate as they constantly block the pavement, wet the road with the washing of vehicles and catering equipment and do not pay attention to any appeals to be considerate. Please note I keep adding updates to show the complete lack of care for food safety.

A good place for takeaway meals. Kottu and hoppers are delicious. Food preparation is hygienic , packing done without polythene . Very crowded in the evenings. Parking on roadside is difficult . Portion size is good . Value for money. Waiting time is bit long.

Tasty food outlet nearby Colombo. Excellent service.Chocolate cakes and eclairs are superb.

Clean food at reasonable prices. Sizes of the food portions is also worth. They have this Masala Chicken Rottee which is Rs. 400 at the moment and it's very delicious and filling.

Been visitomg Tastey for a while now and their food is beyond amazing. All food is made fresh and your guranteed nothing stale is given. They remain conisitant as their food is pre planned and the team is trained to make it the same way at all their branches. By far my favourite is their fish curry. It is just perfection on a bowl. My usual here is a portion of the fish kottu with a fish curry packed on the side, Egg hoppers, katta sambol, seeni sambol and some parathas. They aldso have short eats, stuffed parathas, rotties, mangolian rice, and some other items.

Good place to buy delicious foods. Takeaway and dine in available. They offer shorties in hot. Very tasty. Crowded and high demand is available.

This is one of the best place in Colombo for breakfast and the food is just mouth watering always. You must try the eclair from here which is more like their signature dish, it is the best. You can also come here in the evening for some hoppers and other dinner items, everything here is just an assured delight to taste bud. Best time to visit is evening.

I had ordered 115 packs of short eats and the received food’s quality was really bad. The freshness also appeared to be quite questionable. The customer service was also very poor. Please try to improve your product and service quality and pay attention to this matter.

Crispy Rolls yummy And verities of short eats, very calm area small space for vehicle parking, if you wanna dine in u must be there before 5:30pm. After that open for take away. Kitchen is located in the front and looks very clean. Also the shop is very clean and neat. Friendly staff and good service. Normally shop is rush in the evening.

Food was nice and tasty, and most importantly the service was superb. The waiters tend to tables and offer stuff like in a star class hotel. Atmosphere would also be perfect if there was no noise. Gets noisy at busy hours.

Good safe and tasty food. Can be a tad oily for the taste of some foodies. Love their lasgne and Lumprise. But all over I like their food offerings. Have some innovative bakery stuff ( not delifrance ganre ) but might bring a smile to a gloomy tummy.

To place an order one has to climb up a steep staircase. Service is very mechanical, not willing to discuss. Customer is expected to know exactly what they want. I wanted to order sandwiches, and I asked for the size. "Party size" was the answer! Having a photo would have been very helpful rather than asking large or small! Full payment to be made at the time of ordering. Food was tasty. I ordered from the short eats menu. Convenient free parking.

I would not, complain if this happened when I bought food for the house. Yesterday I came to cafe on the 5th to get food for kids who were practicing for a concert. The prawn rolls were disintegrating. Obviously the boy behind the counter had a problem as he put 3 rolls in each bag. The kids could not, pick a roll up as it was breaking and falling apart. Luckily I had got patties and prawn pies so it saved the day. But what a horrible thing to do. If you have no flour for pancakes don’t make the roll. That was really horrible

2 counters under 1 roof . One for sweets and one for savory items . Food is not in the showcases . Displayed outside. There’s even flys around the food . I went there at 4.00 pm and they refused to give me the food I ordered because they didn’t have change for Rs. 5000. Absurd service . Horrible. The Staff behaves as we came asking for free food . Their food is nice . The staff ruins it all .

Went as a group after sports practice. The staff were not very friendly towards us. May be because we came after sports. They were eager to serve people who dressed well who bought only a chicken roll. Service is way too slow 🐌. Not many choices of food available early in the morning. Only sandwiches, sweet items & shorteats. Expensive foods but some food portions are good. And they don't have any hot drinks. They have orange juice, iced coffee & water as beverages. Very limited seating and ambience is good. Outside street parking & there's a parking lot available next to the store.

Ordered a platter from Tasty Caterers and it was fully worth the price - Great selection of platters and what I ordered was an absolute hit at a dinner. Everything was delicious and disappeared within 10 mins!

Updated from a 5 star review: I love the savoury and sweet stuff these guys have to offer. Chocolate cakes and eclairs are superb. But since recently, the size of the cake pieces has gone down and the prices have gone up, very bad move. I don't mind paying for quality, but the making it smaller is just not cool. Hence the 3 stars. Atleast try to give the same sized food for the increased price.

I loved the short-eat platters they did for my baby’s birthday party. They were absolutely delicious.

The food is tasty and value for money. But they should maintain their environment, on day time AC is not working inside a closed area with fully packed customer. They should have a backup plan.

Ordered a take away from Tasty caterers on a Sunday evening. The staff were helpful and patient with the order. Ordered some egg rotis (flat breads) and assortments. They were tasty as the name says. They have indoor seating. Car parking space available on either sides of Fife road. The Chicken samoosas are yummy. The wait time was just 10 minutes and we had all the items packed and ready to go.

Tasty Caterers is one restaurant I patronise as they have yum stuff from Sri Lankan street food to Western and Eastern gourmet food. However today I was very disappointed with the quality of the cannelloni lasagna. It looked so good but from the first bite found it not palatable. The salt content was far too much. Felt disappointed that I could not enjoy it as much as I expected to. Tasty Caterers please take note and be mindful of the salt content added to your food.

Located in Fife Road, Narahenpita, they serve great tasting bakery items from cakes to pastries to other savoury items. Parking is a bit of a problem as there is no designated parking. Items are slightly pricey i would say but delicious. Tarts/quiches/rolls/patties/cake pieces are about 100. Sandwiches are about 250+. Their butter cake is amazing (Rs.500/-). They offer lunch as well for sale. Staff during my visit were friendly.

One of the famous caters of short eats and sweets. They also have a hopper stall in the night after the main shop is closed. Tasty also does bite platters but those have to be pre-ordered. The prices are generally quite high. Tasty also has one of the best eclairs in Colombo. Parking is a problem cos the road is busy.

Cannot trust them for punctuality for a important event .. The staff are very unprofessional and avoid looking at your face when things go bit wrong ...need tons of training... One of the staff members on social media while addressing the customer and walks away to foucus on his phone. I hope they learn sooner than later...
