The service was very good and the food also good even when I asked for a medium well steak and comes rare, some food was not available like beef tips or blue margarita. The silverware came a few minutes after the food arrives to our table. Some advice: we got charge for playing while waiting for our food. There is a tablet in each table where you can play and they do not tell you that you have to pay for that, be aware of it. We pay for it but it wasn’t the best experience of course.

It was a curbside order. Unfortunately I didn’t check my food before driving off. I ordered a NY Strip medium well, Caesar Salad, and strawberry cheesecake with a loaded baked potato. My cheesecake had no strawberries, my salad was missing croutons and Parmesan, my steak was not medium well. The steak temperature varied. Some portions were medium rare and some medium. Steak was a bit salty. I didn’t get my bread that was supposed to come with the meal. The order was to be ready at 9:20 but didn’t get it until 10p. When I went in to check, the steak was sitting off to the side, waiting on the salad and cheesecake to come out. Overall, the experience was not the best.

We love Texas Roadhouse but are sad to report that our experience at this location this time was truly unsatisfactory. We called ahead because we had a party of nine, and a birthday. We were told they don't take reservations, which is understandable. They said they likely couldn't accommodate us all at one table but that they could seat us near each other. When we got there at 4:30 on a Sunday, we used Yelp to claim our place in line. Waiting 75 minutes, watching no less than 25-30 parties be accommodated, we assumed our wait was so that we could be seated together. Halfway through that wait I had to enter the restaurant to change our son and in making my way to the bathroom I noticed more than half a dozen booths side by side that were available. When we were finally seated, only after requesting an update, we were advised we could not sit in the same section. At best, half of our party would sit in the bar and they could peer over their wall and see us across the hall. We were told we could combine the checks despite being in different sections, by the manager. We ordered three porterhouses, amongst other cuts. Then had to change our order after being told they had none left. Our waiter didn't know if the restaurant does daiquiris. After we checked with the bar, they do daiquiris but their ice crusher was down... And no offer to make a daiquiri on the rocks. We had a baby with us, which I mentioned at the beginning of this review. The ONLY tall highchair that would stand tall enough to reach our booth was not safely equipped with safety restraints. Almost every high (step-up) booth was being used in this restaurant and they only have one tall highchair. I took pictures of the broken restraints as well as the completely empty lower table section in which the lower high chairs would work. That section would have also accommodated our party of nine nicely. Food took quite a while to come out, but wasn't too bad. When we requested the check all on one, the manager left it up to the wait staff to figure it out. The young lady who was the waitress for our alternate table had the added worry of wondering if, in our distaste for our experience, were we going to stiff her on the check. Of course we didn't. This restaurant is being very poorly managed. After being told we would be able to at least be in the same section, we were completely separated. Not only that, there was an empty booth right next to us (and was not used during our meal, and not for COVID reasons). We were told that they could not seat both booths at the same time. Having been wait staff myself in the past I am familiar with how sections and seating works. There was ABSOLUTELY no reason for the power trip the manager at this location felt the need to display. Nor did she make any apologies for it, nor did we see her at any point during our meal. We will not likely be visiting a Texas Roadhouse for a while and certainly never that location again. And it's a darn shame because my husband and I are both 20+ year military veterans and have always thoroughly respected and enjoyed what Texas Roadhouse does for military members. We didn't leave the restaurant until almost 7:30. Such a shame.

The serving sizes were good. It was about a 40 minute wait. The steaks cooked just as asked. Very tender. The salad was a little sad. Nothing fancy. The rolls were yummy and fresh. The menu had a huge selection for everyone.

Sooo granted it was super busy and I had a 4 person party BUT the hosts were pretty rude a manager overheard them and had to step in. Fast forward our food was so good! BUT we never did get that salad and when we asked for it (the 2nd time) our waiter explained it was too late the kitchen had closed?? (We were still charged for it) So to summarize we waited an hour for good food but bad service from the door to the register.

This was the first time we have been to this location and it was AMAZING. The server, Victoria, did a great job at keeping our table happy. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were all fantastic. The BBQ Chicken was tender and flavorful. 10/10 all the way around!

Went to Celebrate with a friend. Food and atmosphere was great. They were crowded and told us 15 min but were seated in 3 min. The food was hot and fresh and had to push away from the bread lol. We had such a great time and will be back

This has to be one of the most popular restaurants in Columbia/Irmo area. We’ve been there on a few weeknights as well as tonight for a special occasion and received great service. They manage wait times well, have great quality steaks and a good selection of side items. This location definitely sets the pace for others and was a pleasant surprise after I took a 10+ year break from eating here. Try the Dallas filet & house margaritas next time you go!

Absolutely appalling display from the kitchen tonight. After discovering that two kitchen managers were working as cooks, I spoke to one to address the fact that my dinner salad's lettuce was warm, its chicken was cold, and its cheese on top melted. I also addressed the warm salads that my family members ordered. The manager was very polite and brought a replacement that was much better. Another family member mentioned an overdone steak to me but did not request a replacement. Soon after, another family member discovered that her country fried chicken was raw. This was sent back and no replacement was taken as at this point we were already prepared to leave. While the staff were accommodating in removing botched items from our bill, we still found this experience to be so foul that it is not worth risking our money to return. It truly is sad to see such a wonderful restaurant fail so poorly because of understaffing. Whether that be due to lack of interest in working as cooks or simple money-hoarding to maximize profits, it's clear that Texas Roadhouse has prioritized production over quality as it is willing to serve any dish no matter how edible it is.

My party of 2 arrived at approximately 7:09pm, and was told there would be a 50-60 minute wait time, which was as expected without a reservation, and we were comfortable waiting that long. Once seated, and asked our drink order, we were told our first selection was out, which was no big deal, and went with a second option. For an appetizer, my party ordered potato skins, but we were told they were unavailable, so we settled on cheese fries. The cheese and bacon to potato ratio was perfection. For our entree, we both ordered the 11oz sirloin, one at the temperature of Medium Rare, and the other at Rare. Upon arrival of our entrees, I immediately noticed my steak was not rare, and was more done than the other. Our server noticed my chagrin and offered to remake it, which I accepted. I believe a manager brought me the remade steak and it was cooked to absolute perfection, I even cut it in front of her and was amazed at the coloring. After eating our main course, we ordered the brownie for dessert. A different server came up to us and said that they were out of the brownie, so we settled on the ice cream, which again was delicious, and the presentation was top tier. After finishing dessert, we sat and waited for our original server to return, but she never did. She was very nice and accommodating throughout the entirety of our experience, until she was nowhere to be found. We sat and waited until almost 9:30, giving her a chance to come back for her final check-in, but she did not. We eventually had to flag down someone, whom I’m assuming is a floor manager, because of the yellow shirt, to request boxes and our check. Throughout this experience, my drink was refilled once, and the other member of my party’s drink was never offered a refill. In between waiting for our courses, I looked around, and noticed trash everywhere, even under our own table. In closing, the food was great, as was the atmosphere, but the amount of times we were told something was out or unavailable, even adding up to the remake, to the trash left under our table and throughout the restaurant, made the experience off-putting. The manager at the end was extremely helpful, and I wish I had caught her name.

We have enjoyed Texas Roadhouse many time and today was no exception. We were told we would have a 10-20 minute wait which was quite reasonable. It ended up being only 5 minutes which surprised us all. Our waitress was very courteous and took great care of us. The food came out and as usual was delicious. It was hot, fresh, and cooked to order. There isn’t very much that could be done to make this experience better. It was a awesome way to dine on our 19th anniversary.

Both steaks were overcooked. Sirlon was ordered medium well was gray and tough. Ribeye was ordered medium and was almost well done. Told waitress that the steaks were overdone but it making a low wage kitchen worker recook you food get your food dropped or spit on, so we just choked it down. Sides and tbe cactus blossom are the only reason it wasn't one star for the food.

Texas Road House is the place to go! The staff is super friendly and on top of things. The food is absolutely delicious! I haven't tried anything I didn't like. Forgot to get a picture of my entrée because I was too excited to eat it. Lol. The atmosphere is down to earth and laid back. We already can't wait to go back. You might have to wait to be seated, but trust me, it's worth the wait!

Steaks were cooked to perfection! Medium well only way to go!! No party's larger than 8, was a little disappointing but outside of that service was good!

Great visit. I didn't have to wait, but ate at the bar. The service was crazy good. Everyone was super friendly, service was amazing and fast. My steak was prepared exactly as I like (and ordered). I can't say enough, this was probably my best visit there ever.

Our waitress was very nice. We were with a large party and food for one adult and the two kids arrived at the table very late. They didn't comp it ..so that was nice. Other than that everything was fine.... So glad there are no more shells on the floor!! Whoever made that decision is a genius ..

My husband and I have been to several Texas roadhouses, and I have to say this is the best one yet! I always order a sirloin steak, I never change it up. This one had the best tasting sirloin yet!! Props to the chef!!! We even left a tip for the chef. The steak was also cooked to perfection! My husband also ordered a sirloin (his first time) and said it’s one of the best he’s ever had and was cooked just the way he likes it! Our server (can’t remember her name) was AMAZING! My daughter (11 months old) was really fussy and she brought her some applesauce without us even having to ask! She didn’t even charge us for it (we would’ve paid for it though). She checked on us regularly but gave us our privacy as well! She was on top of it! From drinks, to the food, to the service! It was overall a great experience and we’ve made this our go to Texas Roadhouse!

Some friends and I went out for birthday steaks and yet again, TRH delivered! I’m not saying TRH has the best steaks in the world, but they’re consistently very good, the sides are hot and tasty, and the drinks are cold! Our waitress was great and was able to keep up with one of my friends deadpan humor while still maintaining her professional demeanor. My steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well! My only complaints are that this location runs out of a lot of sides and desserts before the night was over, and the women’s restroom smelled waaaaay too much like the men’s restroom. It was strong enough for me to decide not to use the restroom at all. However, those glorious rolls and cinnamon butter paired with a perfectly cooked steak will keep me coming back, I’ll just avoid the bathrooms!

Ordered dinner to go today from the family. Everything was correct on pick up. The server graciously waited patiently while I checked each tray. My steak and salad was delicious 😋

Got there around 5 ish, wait was about 40 minutes(expected). Server was there quickly, food was served quickly, my steak was cooked perfect! It was my daughter's first visit and she really enjoyed her Salmon. Next time I will make a reservation to cut down the wait time. No complaints at all, will definitely be returning!

This location was a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t expecting too much but the steak was one of the better steaks I have had. And I could eat way too many of their rolls. They did live up to the hype. I will be back, but now I know to show up early because this location doesn’t have much seating.

This really saddens me to review. My wife and I went there for lunch about three weeks ago. Ginny was our waitress and fantastic! I had the country fried steak, and it was as large as a toilet seat! Food was hot, service was incredible, and despite the 20 minute wait; once we sat down we were in and out quickly! Frankly, I was impressed! So impressed, my wife returned that night with her sister and a few other family members. Night time service she said was horrible. The waitress was inattentive, the food order was wrong, the bill was incorrect. This after a two hour wait. Had I reviewed just on lunch, it would have been an easy five star review. But my wife's visit a few hours later had her so angry at Texas Roadhouse, they can expect us never to return. I therefore can't recommend it.

There was no waiting for a table even though they were very busy. Waitress greeted us promptly taking our drink order. I ordered a sirloin and shrimp dinner with sides of fresh veggies and sweet baked potato. My friend ordered sirloin tips with brown gravy on the side. Our orders were brought out by someone other than our waitress. I realized they hadn't brought the shrimp with my order and the sweet potato was plain, no butter or brown sugar. My friend didn't get his brown gravy. We had to wait about 5 minutes for the waitress to come back around to get our orders corrected then waited almost 10 for the rest to be brought out. The food was delicious but the service wasn't very good. Still, I would recommend TR simply because of the quality of the food.

The food was fresh and hot. The waitress was awesome. She was attentive and very nice. I had a grill chicken salad with a loaded sweet potato. The only negative I have is the ladies bathroom was nasty, however after speaking with the manager he took care of quickly.
