I’m a pilot and travel for work so I stay in a lot of hotels. This hotel is fantastic. It’s clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful staff of any hotel I’ve stayed in. Lindsay, Amy, and everyone at the reception are lovely, accommodating, and always seem genuinely happy and helpful. Denise and Jessa who work in the lounge keep the lounge clean, organized, and stocked with great food and snacks (the coffee machine is also awesome). Everyone is very pleasant and helpful! I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely wonderful place, with very friendly staff, great food, nice signature cocktails and draft beer. Rooms are very clean, well lit, excellent climate control, and just very comfortable. Definitely enjoying the size and atmosphere of this hotel. There is ample parking with plenty of beautiful amenities to enjoy.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Worst hotel with Terrible experience and extremely rude front desk. Let’s start with the room, the room is dirty, and they even have some food left in the refrigerator. The bathroom is broken and the bed is also not clean either! They don’t have water, and I ask front desk to give us a cup bottle of water, the front desk just gives us a plastic water cup and then told us to get it by ourselves! Housekeeping and the guests in the hallway wake us every morning. Horrible service with really high price (close to 200)per night. Absolutely not worth the price. Definitely won’t come back here anymore and don’t stay here whether you are traveling for business or vacation.

Arrived on Friday from Virginia. The tip was long and the check-in process short. The staff was extremely friendly and let us know about the breakfast routine. It was comforting seeing them cleaning the luggage carts and other areas to keep everyone safe. Mommy hugs to all from 6 feet away!

For the price this Marriott is hard to beat. I travel 50+ nights a year and this is definitely worth a mention. Attentive staff, clean building, CLEAN rooms, quiet, and fantastic gym. Very well done and managed. I would definitely recommend.

A really beautiful hotel with fancy touches near OSU! Calm and quiet, away from the bustle of downtown this hotel was really lovely. The service was nice and the breakfast in the lounge was well made. The gym featured TV on the treadmills and tons of equipment. The pool was on the small side but they do make up for it in just how beautiful this hotel is. The beds were great, slept like a baby! Would recommend :)

A nice new hotel, but there is an event space in the middle of all of the rooms. There was a wedding happening and it made it impossible to sleep because you could hear the bass of the music coming from the wedding very late.

Maybe the best hotel in the whole area! Very impressed. Staff was amazing, hotel was very clean, and great bar. I stay in so many hotels, it's great to stay in a nice one! Loved it. 5 stars!

Second time here. The staff at the bar are great. The rooms are definitely not as nice as the other Marriotts I choose to stay. Both times had to take cover of the bed because it was filthy.

My stay was wonderful, when checking in Samuel greeted me right away and was a delight in getting me everything I needed promptly. I absolutely loved that the rooms do not have carpet. My room was very spacious, clean, plenty of outlet plugs and had darkening curtains ( something I love when trying to sleep in). I will absolutely be booking my next stay with the Marriott when traveling, you have checked all of my boxes from the time I arrived until I checked out.

This hotel is very clean, modern, with updated rooms. The staff is hands down the best. Lindsay from the front desk, Greg, and Denise in the lounge treated us like family. Love the M Lounge option as it's always fully stocked with drinks and snacks. All around, one of the best hotels we stayed at!

Well worth a few extra dollars relative to some other nearby hotels for the truly exceptional service, food, gorgeous views, quiet and comfort. The customer service was just outstanding, something rarely found nowadays - every single hotel employee made us feel like honored guests.

Staff at hotel are wonderful. Hotel is clean, beautiful and has on site restaurant (not open 24/7). Rooms are clean, but very small. Wouldn’t recommend for more than 2 people. Would not recommend for business travelers because the bathroom not having a door that is solid. The beds are uncomfortable and are in need of replacement. Air conditioner unit is in corner closet of room and noisy. Convenient to OSU. Went to appetizer hour and only 2 options and one was salad. The drinks and snacks in M Lounge is convenient and good with kids.

Loved this place!! Very nice rooms with great amenities. Only issue was cleaning person opening door at 9am with privacy sign on. Other then that, Marriott does a great job.

This hotel is fantastic! Within 30 minutes walking distance to the Horseshoe with no parking fee!! They also have a really good M Club that's open for breakfast for Gold+ members, as well as snacks, sodas, and coffee 24 hours/day. Additionally, they have a full service restaurant and bar. Definitely a great place to stay if you're doing anything around OSU.

Rooms are nice. The restaurant closed before 11 so we were not able to order food here. Door dash is going to be delivering our dinner. My son was able to order his food. He order 5 or 10 minutes before we did. When your driving from CA to NJ you hope things fall in place. We're going to the Zoo so we will be staying another night.

My husband and I finally got to go on a mini rendezvous for Our 12th anniversary of the new it was originally supposed to be our 10th anniversary. Due to Covid things got pushed etc. We like nice clean hotels. Hotels we don’t have to sit and wonder oh is this going to be infested we would rather pay extra for a nice clean comfy hotel. The rooms were clean but basic. I love that there was shampoo conditioner and body wash attached to the wall to the wall inside the shower! We were treated with kindness and treated with kindness all of our stay. We chose this hotel in particular because of room service. It’s our anniversary so we Wanted to do breakfast in bed and just relax. We went to the bar area the first night to have a night cap. After an amazing dinner date! Thank you for the first round on the house for anniversary! This was something I never would’ve expected. Very impressed. It wasn’t until the first morning He went to order room service. After you husband calling down They informed him that room service doesn’t apply during breakfast hours. So no breakfast in bed. However we had one another so that was good enough. This hotel has a lot of good qualities. We enjoyed FaceTiming our children in front of the fire pit each night. It was a nice experience with ease of mind. We will definitely be back.

Conveniently located and we'll priced for any downtown, OSU or north Columbus activity. Modern, clean, well maintained with next level care and courtesy by staff. For extended stays, get the M club benefit, nice breakfast, coffee and evening appies in a club like environment. Do NOT overlook the restaurant bar. The food is AMAZING, cocktails are pretty and, again, the pride across their professional staff shows! Absolutely my Columbus go-to hotel. (Credit to the customer service lead -cant remember her name but she is Eritrean and so helpful! Theresa the dining room/hospitality lead, all the front desk staff and servers. All are top notch hospitality pros! Thank you!)

Great hotel. But, in 2023 you shouldn’t be charging extra for internet (without joining the rewards program). I had no cell service in my room (Verizon) and wasn’t going to pay a daily rate. I realize this is a corporate thing and not unique to this hotel.

  • 2/5 Jessica T. 8 months ago on Google
Great close location to the stadium. Unfortunately, our room was not ready, and we had to get ready in the public bathroom. The TV in our room did not work. So it wasn't exactly worth $278 for one night.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfy. We were there for the OSU vs YSU game and were pleasantly surprised that they had a shuttle to take us most of the way to the stadium. They don't have a shuttle to pick you up so we just took an Uber. It was a little too far for us to walk but it is possible. It was worth it to not have to find a parking space because parking was crazy. We didn't have a meal there but we did have some drinks at the bar. The drinks were pricy but they were really good and the bartenders were great. I recommend the Boozy Brutus!

Overall my husband and I had a great experience here, but there were some features that we didn't like. We stayed here last week and the staff was AMAZING. I believe Samuel had checked us in and he was very helpful. The M Club was beautiful and the service at the bar was great. One thing we HATED was the fact it was 2 hotels into one. It was not clearly advertised as this. We were very lost and very confused when we found the hotel. We had breakfast in the M Club and frankly, we were very disappointed. It felt like breakfast from a Fairfield inn. The only difference is that we got fresh fruit and a larger selection of drinks. But it was the same fake powdered eggs and fake bacon. What's the difference between the breakfast at the residence inn next door and the breakfast in the m club?

Our stay at the Marriott Columbus OSU was phenomenal! As a visiting team bus driver it was beyond appreciated the way in which Lisa and her team took such great care of our drivers. Professionalism at its finest. The rooms, cleanliness, and everything else you expect from a hotel were all top notch.

I stayed at the Marriott recently on Saturday the 23rd of September. The service was great and it definitely looked amazing. The couple things I had problems with spoke miles unfortunately. The first problem and the biggest problem I had was the cleanliness of the bed. The sheets were absolutely filthy, and they left my girlfriend and I utterly disgusted. The audacity of a hotel business to charge $190 a night and not even provide clean sheets is outright insane. They also charge $10 for wifi each night of your stay which really bogs down the likelihood of me being a returning customer. You would think that a hotel modeled for business endeavors would provide free internet service but that simply wasn’t the case. The third problem we faced was not being able to use this beautiful TV the room provided us. We couldn’t switch between HDMI ports, disabling us from using our personal media. Again, the place and the rooms look nice, but the sheets really disgusted us. We’ve seen better cleanliness in Motel 6’s, at least they don’t charge $190 for that filthy of an experience.

Clean and modern rooms. Convenient location, within walking distance to Ohio Stadium (2 miles). Price was on the expensive side for not offering free Wi-Fi or free breakfast, but they did have free parking.

Rooms were upgraded and the service was good. Close to Ohio stadium and has a shuttle to the games. Great place to stay if you're in the area for a game.

In one of our rooms, the tv wouldn't work. Althouse the Maintenance MSN was prompt, he could not resolve the issue. They offered to move us to another room but it was too inconvenient at that time of night. 2 days without a television. When checking out, the Front Desk offered us something from the convenience shop. Very disappointing.

Check-in time changed several times from 3 to 4 to 5, then 530. I drove in from Cleveland and worked a convention early that day. Completely exhausted, I wanted to shower and sleep. Once finally in the room, I couldn't watch TV. The cable was acting up. Checked the beds, and the zipper on the sealed cover was completely broken. The staff were very nice but spending $200 for 1 night it was disappointing.

I’ve had a couple of great stays here. Staff is very friendly and helpful! All common areas are clean and modern, as well as the rooms. The gym is shared with the neighbouring hotel though so it can be very busy in the mornings!

Only downside is we found a random plastic bottle cap in the room, leftover from the previous guests. Oops. Besides that, the stay was superb and the service was quick. Free breakfast!! Pet friendly! The desk clerk was AMAZING and friendly. Thank you for having us!!

Close to Union Cemetery & The Wilma H. Schiermeier Olentangy River Wetland Research Park for a morning walk. Friendly & helpful front desk (Shawn sp?). Presidental suite has interesting appointments and layout. The Concierge lounge breakfast is tasty & nourishing. High five to the crew!

Amazing experience. One of the cleanest hotels I've ever been to. It did not stink like the hotels usually do. Hotel rooms had central air and we got upgraded because my boy wanted to swim for his birthday but the pool is closed. 2 bedroom 2 bath suite. Was perfect for our family. Casey the attendant at the front desk was the best. She has an awesome personality is very hospitable and fits this role to a t. The other attendants were nice but not like her at all. The manager actually brought up the keys for us when they upgraded our room for us we will def be staying again even if they dont upgrade us because this experience was amazing.

This hotel is Brandy New looks state-of-the-art in terms of design is very large and has incredible amenities including a bar with some serious top shelf liquor there is a basketball court there is a pool there is a amazing fitness center with a heavy bag and all sorts of nautilus type equipment This is a fabulous place I'm not going to lie.

Don't pay for M club...they hardly maintain the level of quality you expect in a lounge. Save that money for the Ritz Club level.

Stayed here while my daughter and I visited OSU....was very impressed ! Rooms are clean and spacious and quiet. The bed was super comfortable ! Staff was very accommodating especially the front desk people. At first, I had trouble finding parking until I realized they have a huge lot in the back. Bar is nice too - we only had their continental breakfast for $13 so can't really comment on the restaurants. However, I would advise eating at a local restaurant as so many great options in Columbus.

This hotel is great. I always come in with a full size charter bus. Entering and exiting the driveways is nearly impossible due to the dividers in the roadway.. It would be nice if they could do something about that as I know charter busses come in-and-out of this business all the time.

Stayed at this hotel and was blown away by the staff and their attention to detail, professionalism, eagerness to assist in making me and my familys stay confortable. Shout out to Front Desk Kim and Bailey and Bar server Skylar. Rooms were clean and modern and the aromatherapy in the halls was blissful. And lastly the Mlounge is a wonderful Oasis! Bravo Marriott OSU!!

Nice new Marriott, nice rooms with a decent restaurant and bar downstairs. Stayed for 3 nights for events at Ohio State and location is close by. Zach was great at the front desk filling us in about the area, in particular a great walking /biking road behind the hotel along the river that goes right to OSU. The 2 Bartenders skylar and krissy were also fantastic. Definitely one of the better Marriott I have stayed at

Very nice hotel not too far off the toll road. My kids were amazed that there were people in suits since we don't usually stay in fancy hotels. The property is shared by a Residence Inn, which might have slightly lower prices. The pool is a little small but was good enough for our needs. The executive lounge (if you have enough Marriott status) offered a very good breakfast that filled up all my kids.

Lovely hotel! Clean rooms, immaculate lobby, fast wifi, awesome gym, and perfectly located for anyone going to Upper Arlington or Riverside. The staff is passionate about ensuring guests are cared for. Loved starting mornings with Denise, who adds so much positivity and vibrancy to the hotel’s ambiance. Recommend wholeheartedly.

This hotel was right where we needed to be, close to the Schott. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious. The morning breakfast buffet was delicious and had a nice selection to choose from.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. The night before my wedding. The front desk staff was rude, ignorant, and racist. I will never ever be a guest again or recommend this hotel again. And customer service did absolutely nothing. Marriott will never get any more of my money. Disgusted.

The staff at this hotel are fantastic! Our team stayed here for 5 nights, utilized a banquet room the entire time, and ate all of our meals at the hotel (catered meals in banquet room). The food was great, and the staff catered to our every need. Amazing experience, thank you!

This is one of the best hotel s I've stayed in. The hotel itself is beautiful. The elevators are even beautiful!! The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We ate a t the hotel bar during "happy hour" and we ordered personal pan pizzas....wow...they were pretty big and we couldn't finish them...oh and they were delicious. Better yet...we were here to see Duran Duran....so it was a wonderful stay. Thank you staff....you made our adventure even better....thank you.

My husband and I are traveling for the first time since the birth of our son, and as a nursing mother, I was nervous about how I was going to navigate pumping/storing my breast milk while away from our 12-week-old baby. Well, those worries quickly dissipated when we met Bobbie (Robert). Not only did he store my already pumped milk in the hotel fridge while we went out for lunch so that it wouldn't go bad (it's liquid gold, after all!), but he very, very kindly got us into our room early so that I could pump comfortably and in total privacy. I had originally asked for a conference room or bathroom, knowing that getting a room early would be next to impossible on an OSU game day, but Bobbie worked his magic and got us in a room. I was so incredibly touched by his kindness - he mentioned he was a father of four, and so I can imagine he knew the predicament I was in. I have no doubt he is a wonderful father at home, just as he is a caring employee at work. I just wanted to extend my gratitude for him and his exceptional customer service. You can't imagine how appreciative I was for this thoughtful gesture. Thank you, Bobbie, for making our stay not only comfortable, but memorable.
