You can have a good time if you don't need to go to the bathroom, because there are only 2 public toilets, which are absolutely abysmal. I won't say anything about them, just make sure to find another way to take care of this before going to the beach. There are also no showers. The prices for the sunbeds is 20 RON (€4.30 / $5.00, £3.86) for the day, which includes a foam mattress to put on them. However, to also get an umbrella for the day, you'll have to pay an extra 10 lei (€2.15 / $2.50 / £1.93) to rent it and another 40 lei (€8.62 / $9.99 / £7.72) as a warranty, which you will get back when you return it. You can go on the beach at night, as well, and even swim in the sea, but there will be no lifeguard, just a couple of people looking after the sunbeds. It's a nice place to visit and it's great for kids, as the water is shallow and you can see jellyfish at night close to the shore.

Although it's a public beach, it has all the facilities in order. Parking lot, food area, lifeguards, thin sand, showers, terraces and the sea bed is safe w/o rocks for at list 50m.

It is a lovely place. Sand beach and quite clear water. It can be seen especially when there is no waves. It needs more rubbish bins, maintenance or people to take they rubbish when they finish as bins fill quickly. Also people that smoke put their cigarettes down in sand. Sad. Otherwise beautiful

Pros: A quiet place, in Constanta Romania where you can enjoy the sun an the sea. Cons: the sand is very hot and full of small shells and it can hurt your feet. Pretty crowded, you need to wake up early in order to catch a sunbed in weekends. Prices: Sunbeds: 40RON ~8EUR Frappe: 18RON ~3.5EUR Water: 8RON ~1.6EUR Pretty expensive for the offered facilities.

Nice beach in the town of Constanța. GOOD: - cheap prices for : drinks, food, sunbeds ; - clean, shallow water ; - really secure ; - close to the city center, the touristic harbor and the old historic part of the town. BAD : - sometimes there's garbage on the beach (mostly cigarette buds and beer cans) ; - sometimes it's really noisy because of all the terraces in the area that play their own music ; - to reach the beach tot have to go down a big, old, not well preserved, flight of stairs. 5.9/10

Big large beach, but full of shells and bit of rubbish. Very large beach, it is unfortunately full of shells that cod cut your foot and a little bit of rubbish. The strand is near Constanta old center and tourist port. You can see a beautiful sunset from this beach.

The see was incredibly warm in August, pretty much sea weed though. The sand is clean with shells nearby water scratching feet a little bit. There are some big stones, very beautiful to take photos. But also it is difficult to get a long upstairs way when leaving the beach. The water is not very clean, but ok though, also extremely salty. Waves are pretty big but not dangerous. Also, it is difficult to find a bathroom or a place to put on the bathing suit, we walked almost half an hour to find one.

Pros: not too crowded, water clean enough, long area (10-15 m) with no deep water (less than 1.5 m), sunbeds and spacious sheets area Cons: Too few trash bins (and many of them overflowing), lots of cigarette butts and small garbage spread all over. Prices: Sunbed: 30 lei (6 euros)/day Beer: 5-12 lei (1-2.5 euros) Soda: 6-7 lei (1-1.5 euros)

Besides being full of algae at this period of the summer, it's been quite nice being around there. Not very crowded, surprisingly.

Sand is not clean. There are too many cigarette ends in the sand. Wish they had trash bins and didn't see portable restrooms on the beach .
