As a visitor from the USA: Good: 1. Nice view of the Black Sea. 2. Volleyball net 3. Not too crowded. 4. Not too many half naked people. ...maybe..cleaner relative to some beaches in Romania Bad: 1. Narrow beach area 2. Too Rocky 3. Lack of quality toilets or changing areas. 4. Over-cautious surf warnings 5. Dirt road through field to get to parking. 6. Beach access down steep slope.

Very bad roads (dirt road), way too many cars for a wild beach (I had to park in a 🌽 field), the beach is very small and full of algae... It will not be on my radar for years to come!

Beautiful wild beach. Pretty far from the city and all the noise so if you want a quiet vibe, I recommend you go here

Very nice beach, not as wild as you might hird because now it hosts several restaurants and terraces. Their presence surprised me, as it is quite a task to bring your car closer to the beach. It could use some extra cleaning during summer, when the tourists asault the beach and forget to take the garbage with them. Otherwise, it is a very beautiful peaceful place.

Beautiful, wild place, perfect for camping on the beach away from any noise. Clean water and a landscape that is very different from other beaches in Romania. The cleanness of the area could be improved, too much trash and only one tiny bin to throw it.

This beach is a hidden gem , until recentlly had only been used for fishing , you get turcoaz water and little tourists as is only expanding now, but at least for the next couple of years you will find wildest beach and cleanest water you will find on the black sea shore, no phone signal no internet just pure nature. Perfect if you wanna spend some nature time.

Really beautiful from a distance but dirty when you get closer. If you want to check it it's fine, take an off-road car, all you need on the beach and with some luck you'll feel the Black Sea vibes. One time experience should be ok. Have fun!

Prices are high - for a pillow, they charge 40 lei per person (you can't seat two on one), you can't put a blanket under their umbrellas. They don't clean the beach, which is full of algae... And the shores are steeper than other beaches, not recommended for people with small children. Also, they aren't as sandy... There are more shells and stones than sand. Not comfortable without shoes. Also, to reach in the parking at the beach you need a 4x4, otherwise there is a parking on the plateau above. I was searching for a place without the noise of all the corn sellers (porumbelu' e fierbinteee) and without manele, and I found it. Instead, every half hour there is a plane flying over the shore with some commercial hanging behind it. And noisy neighbors. All in all, it may work for people with money and less pretentious, but if you don't have the money, stay at a regular beach, the overall costs will be higher at Tuzla beach.

Still pretty much untouched by modern life. Which is why we went here in the first place. Pretty small beach, and, at the time we were there (mid August), the shoreline and the water near the shore were lined with a thin layer of algae. The swimming area, up to the buoys is pretty small, but that is because there seem to be strong currents in the area. The roads up to there (last 500m) are dirt, literally, and the parking spaces are plenty if your car has enough ride height. All in all, it is a place to enjoy the sound of the waves and some time away from a hectic life.

One of the few beaches in Romania that is still ok. To give some context, the occupation rate is down almost 50% on the Romanian beach, because it's super crowded, expensive and unwelcoming. Despite the challenges, Tusla Beach is a hidden gem in Romania! Yes, the accommodation may not be top-notch, and the food options could use some improvement, but the beach itself makes up for it. It's one of the few semi-wild places left, and the lower occupancy rate makes it more enjoyable compared to other crowded beaches.
