I feel like this place is only looking to maximize their profit and less about patient care. Here is my example. I had two appointments back to back, one for myself and one for my daughter. My daughter had to cancel two hours before. They wouldn't allow me to use the second appointment for myself which I needed, they instead insisted on charging a $90 cancellation fee even when they didn't actually have lose a customer and miss getting their money in from an actual in person visit.

I’m writing this review based off the pleasant experiences my parents and I have had with the whole Manhas Health team, particularly due to our family doctor Dr. Vitaliy Kubatskyy. Our former family doctor Dr. Bernhard Toews retired over 2 years ago now and it was heartbreaking for my entire family as he was our family doctor for 40+ years and literally delivered me and was my doctor until I was 35. Dr. Toews and his receptionist Kathy were pretty much like family and the gold standard of human beings and kind professionals. We’re so fortunate that he recommended us to Manhas Health and the luck of this clinic opening when he was retiring literally in the same block of his old office. My parents and I wish Dr. Kubatskyy and team all the best and thank them for their kind demeanour, care, timely follow up and attention to detail. Compassion and kindness should be cornerstones for medical practitioners but this isn’t always the case everywhere as we have personally experienced elsewhere when visiting certain specialists or drop in clinics away from home. We are grateful for Manhas Health and Dr. Kubatskyy for his efforts. Keep up the great work.

Manhas health is one of the best clinic in town because has everything you need in a medical clinic. I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have Dr.Paul Manhas as our family doctor. He is very knowledgeable, professional, empathetic and friendly. He is always listening to our concern and have the right treatments and great advise for us. Upstairs, the clinic has a physiotherapy facility and a modern gym for rehab. The physiotherapist is very knowledgeable, professional and offer the right treatment during the rehab process with fantastic results in a short period of time. I would strongly recommend this clinic with the great team of doctors and staff without any hesitation. Thank you for all your hard work

She helped me navigate the confusing world of supplements and has given me great, useful and realistic advice. I have also started using the Zo skin care products recommended by the aesthetics team and I’m so happy with the results!

What can I say, Jamie and Dr. Gurdeep Manhas are both such kind and patient people. I especially liked that I wasn’t being rushed out of my appointments. I find that most doctors these days are just always late and always hurrying you out of the room. Even Jamie from MD aesthetics side took the time to go over the procedures in such detail until she knew I was comfortable with the laser treatments. I have been seeing Erica (RMT) at Manhas Health and she is amazing! I have been to a lot of Massage Therapists and she is really good! Whenever I have an area of pain she seems to know just what to do to alleviate the discomfort. I would highly recommend her to anyone. My friend who referred me has had the same experience. Will definitely continue seeing her. Wish I found her sooner!

This place is very unique and dedicated to your healing journey. The practitioners do their best to be accessible and holistic. It's a bonus that you can see your doctor, workout, get smoothies and supplements in the same place. The pharmacy below is also extremely handy. Dr.Grace Ni is very awesome, knowledgeable and eager to help and educate you. I also appreciate that they have direct billing so I am only responsible for the difference not the complete upfront cost. I highly recommend this place if you are serious about taking the necessary next steps with your health.

Dr. Paul Manhas is by far the best physician I have ever had. He and his team are willing to push beyond the boundaries in the industry to provide as many great services to the community. The team works endlessly to ensure the service is exceptional, and are constantly looking for ways to help care for their patients. With regards to Dr. Paul Manhas, he is very caring, sincere, but also very honest and transparent. He always has an explanation behind his recommendations/suggestions/advice, and he more than willing to answer any questions you may have. Sadly, this is rare from the past doctors I have dealt with. I strongly recommend checking out all of their services (Active Rehab, Acupuncture, and IV treatments)

Dr Paul has been our family’s physician for over 3 years and we absolutely love him! He is amazing with my 2 daughters and they enjoy seeing him at our monthly allergy shots. He truly cares for his patients and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and the other Doctors at the clinic! In addition to the wonderful Doctors at Manhas Health Co, I have also recently visited the Physiotherapist, Jayten Patel. He was completely thorough with my initial assessment and took the time to ensure my personalized exercise plan fit my health goals. I found Manhas Health while searching online for physiotherapy, and I’m very glad I decided to try them out. Jayten Patel helped me with my upper back issue by really listening and taking care to get me on a program that would increase my mobility and build strength in the right places. Two months later I’m feeling much better and am very happy with the results. Cole was also a great help in getting me on various strength training routines. The rest of the staff at Manhas Health is super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for physiotherapy.

Our previous family Doctor was retiring and recommended Dr. Katie Gates Manhas. I'm so glad that she recommended her! We've been seeing Dr. Katie for about 2 years now and she is the best. Dr. Katie is kind, attentive and thorough. She explains things so it's easy to understand and not overly complicated. She's also proactive and gets things done. Never once have we felt rushed or the need for a second opinion. Dr. Katie has always been great with our two kids as well. Truly, I only have good things to say about her. Their office staff are professional and helpful. With their online booking portal, it's easy to make appointments. Their in-house nurse is fantastic. The clinic was newly renovated and clean. I would highly recommend Manhas Medical to anyone.

Dr. Paul has been my whole family’s GP before they moved and opened Manhas Medical. He is hands down the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of seeing since I moved to Canada in 2004. He is thorough, personable, he takes the time to really know what’s the issue is and doesn’t shy away to refer when needed, he is not drug happy so if he doesn’t think it’s necessary he will not prescribe you medicine. Which I think is fantastic. The girls at the front desk is so nice and helpful and the nurses who takes you to the room are always so professional and kind. I can’t say enough good thing about Dr. Paul and his team. You can’t go wrong with any of the doctors at Manhas Medical.

I’ve been seeing Erica (RMT) for a while now. I have chronic joint pain & a physically demanding job, so I often show up pretty broken & painful. She’s brilliant at finding out exactly what is causing the issue & at least returning me back to a functioning human being! She also is so sweet & follows up with home care & stretches that she thinks will help, & to see how I’m doing the next day. I recommend her with every ounce of my being!

Dr Paul Manhas is a knowledgeable, empathetic and compassionate Doctor whom I would highly recommend. 2 years ago I went for a consult with him and he immediately diagnosed that I potentially had cancer and ordered all appropriate tests. 3 weeks later, I had cancer surgery and am now cancer free, thanks to his fantastic and speedy action. Doctor Paul is a great doctor! He always makes me feel like I have his full attention, which is nice. This isn’t always the case, some clinics I’ve been to I have felt rushed through and as though I was a burden to them. Manhas medical is a really nice facility, the new to them building is very open and comfortable, and offers so many personal options for health care and physical well-being. My son and I have been seeing the physiotherapist for a few weeks now and we really liked the experience. Jayten is very professional, knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. The studio is clean, spacious, with various stations to work. Our exercises were specifically designed for our needs and we both already see improvements. Having our GP, Dr. Paul Manhas, just downstairs and part of our health team is a bonus. I am definitely very impressed with the level of care that we get at the Manhas Health Co.

Horrible, Unorganized, and Uncaring customer service & staff. It’s truly disturbing. My phone call consultation for the iud was Jan 2nd at 2pm, the doctor ended up calling me at 2:40pm and I missed the call by two minutes and immediately called back multiple times, they didn’t pick up. I then left a voicemail and no one got back to me. Then I called them a week later, last Thursday and they apologized for that and said they will book me a new phone call appointment on Friday at 3:50pm. The doctor didn’t call me at all and when I called the clinic to find out what happened it turns out the clinic is closed. Then the weekend comes and today was supposed to be my iud insertion, except I can’t come if I have not done the consultation. I explain what happened to the receptionist and she kept on interrupting me and insisting it’s my fault. Then I asked her if she could just give me a moment and listen so she can understand where I’m coming from. She then accuses me of verbally abusing her, i didn’t cuss at her or insult her at all! Matter fact my tone was very calm considering the situation and how unorganized they are. She then went on to cancel my appointment and I asked her many times if I will get charged no show fee and she said it’s up to the doctor, she put me on hold and when she returned she informed me that she spoke to the doctor they will send my referral back to my doctor, still not telling me anything about the no show fee even after she spoke to the doctor. She then rudely hung up the phone and I called back to confirm I won’t be charged for something that was essentially out of my control. The other receptionist picks up and basically tells me “my college has already helped you” Even when I only called back to find out about the no show fee, something she didn’t help me with. - before the owner try’s to respond to this review, firstly I do exist as a patient and I’m making a review on a different email. Secondly don’t try to accuse me of lying because the phone calls are recorded and I have call logs that back up everything I’ve said. Thirdly, and I mean this with complete respect, hire better staff. This is a medical practice. Patients shouldn’t be made to feel the way I felt with this whole experience. - The rude receptionists name was Jasmine and my appointment was with doctor Mackie (I don’t know if that’s how you spell their name)

Honestly shocked to see the negative reviews that were written below! While I recognize everyone has their own experience, mine was very positive. Was referred to Dr. Mackie by family doctor for a medical procedure. From the consultation to the procedure itself, everything was very organized and easy. On the day of the consultation, Dr. Mackie called on time and communicated very clearly with me and eased all concerns. Arrived to the appointment itself and was dealt with very professionally and quickly by staff. Dr Mackie made the procedure itself a lot easier to manage and was very calming. Had to remain at the clinic for a little bit of time afterwards and was taken care of exceptionally well by her and her staff who were very caring. Very happy with this experience and would definitely recommend.
