Rural quality slow food at its best: this punct gastronomic can beat even the majority of top star chefs in the country. Absolutely simple place with basic food, but of the best taste and highest quality. Homemade bread, cheese and meat from their own farm. Angus beef soup and a simple pork stew with mamaliga. Even the tuica is better than elsewhere. And a women with passion who understands the concept of hospitality. Congratulations! There is still hope for real slow food in this country.

I usually don't spend a lot of effort in writing reviews because I probably have a degree of ADHD and don't have the patience, but I feel like I can't do that here. I don't have anything to say about the food except that it is the best traditional food I've ever eaten. All ingredients are homegrown, from tomatoes to beef. Well, the beef is gardengrown, they don't grow them indoors. Moving on, if you want to know what food tastes like in its raw, natural form, come here. In addition, the cooking is spot on. I've never met anyone with as much passion, enthusiasm and love for their job, and that can be felt in the taste of the recipes. It's truly an exquisite experience to eat here and I don't say this lightly. I feel like 5 stars aren't enough to describe what I feel about 'Elena' and the food.

I have to say that it’s been a while since I’ve been to a place with such level of hospitality. Apart from food, that was great, really tasty, the hosts were very polite, with amazing energy and truly happy to have us. If you’re looking for authentic traditional romanian food and very positive people, that’s the place!

10/10 best food experience

O experienta de nedescris in cuvinte, 10 stele din 5! Absolut totul ce ne-a oferit doamna Eutalia (sau Elena, cum i se mai spune) a fost plin de savoare si gust autentic: mancare curata, preparata in intregime din propria gradina si productie mica de lactate si carne, totul gatit cu atentie si suflet. Ne-a primit cu bratele deschise in casa si cu masa plina de bunatati traditionale: palinca, visinata sau tuica, ciorba de vacuta, mamaliga cu smantana si branza de casa, carnati si jumari, si am incheiat cu un cozonac proaspat iesit din cuptor doar din ingrediente din propria gospodarie. Am revenit si a doua zi dimineata, iar micul dejun a fost absolut genial: oua proaspat culese din cuibar, legume din gradina, unt de tara, zacusca si dulceata de visine. Totul un adevarat deliciu, iar ospitalitatea, bunatatea si deschiderea doamnei a facut toata experienta de nota 10. Abia astept sa ne reintoarcem sa gustam si din gogosi si faimoasa paine rotunda.

I rarely write reviews but I feel that this time is a necessity. The food is not only delicious and natural, but the welcoming itself is an act of appreciation. I hope that more people have the chance to visit this place and enjoy it as I did.
