One of the nicest experiences i had for a city tours.. I chose the 4:30pm option. The weather was good and the guide was awesome. The bikes given were well made and maintained so it was effortless to bike. We had bunch of 60ish people with us and it was easy . Even had a 10 year old which had no issues . Had been in Bucharest for 2 months and just decided to do it. Should have done it long time back and recommend this to any one in Bucharest for few days

This cycle tour with Alexandru was a fantastic way to see Bucharest. He’s a funny guy who tells some great stories about the history of Romania and his personal experiences. He’s also very considerate of his guests. On what was a hot day he kept us in the shade and was conscious to keep the pace so that novice riders has no problem keeping up.I’d thoroughly recommend the tour.

Very nice guys, available and although leaving a bike requires a reservation, arrived within 3 minutes to let me rent on the spot! We allow renting a bicycle for a whole day.

The best bike experience in Bucharest! I rented one for two days, the bikes are very new and of high quality, with six gears. They have electric bikes as well. Don't miss the guided tour! Alex is an incredibly nice and motivated guide, he took his time and showed us many places, historic/touristic as well as non-touristic areas. He has a lot of knowledge about the history of the city and Romania. Highly recommended!

Rented a bike, it broke 30min in on a small pothole. with a cheap plastic piece rubbing into the tire, the owner gave no responses for help. On top of all this he charged another 100 lei for the "damage" even though the piece could be taken off with a screwdriver for free and the bike would work the same! He charged this price while admitting he didn't even look at the damage!

Just finished a tour with Alex, and it was absolutely perfect. The tour was a good pace, not too fast or slow, and took us to all the important locations. When in doubt, book direct and not from Trip Advisor.

I did the Half-day City Bike Tour with Lucia and loved it. She was attentive to my interests, interspersed the city's and the country's history with personal stories to bring it alive, showed me a ton of places which I would never have discovered on my own, and gave me good recommendations for things to see and do further. I would highly recommend Bike the City to people who want to take a break from the museums and immerse themselves in the city, and Lucia is an excellent guide (I forgot to mention that she gave clear instructions for following her while we biked).

I took the 2hour walking tour. It’s an excellent tour of the city’s highlights! Alex the tour guide is very polite, explaining everything, knowledgeable about history. Definitely a worth having experience! Next time I will definitely try the 2hour bike tour as well!

We are super satisfied with our experience with bike the city in Bucharest, and especially with the tour guide Lucia. We booked the tour the night before and we were very lucky to have a private tour since we were the only 4 participants that day. It was a tour of 4 hours during which we have seen the whole city supported by necessary explanations of the history of Romania, thanks to Lucia. We have learned a lot, it was very interesting and Lucia was the best tour guide we have had so far. We would definitely recommend the tour!

I took advantage of the opportunity to rent a bike from this place to explore the city. Contact with the owner was wonderful. He replied to messages quickly and efficiently. Before departure, I received instructions on how to use the equipment. A nice aspect is the fact that you can leave the bike without the presence of the owner of the place. The bikes have baskets, which prevents unnecessary items from being carried on the back. I highly recommend this place!

We took the two hour tour that was amazing. Alex the guide explained every detail in an interesting engaging way. We learned a lot about the city and ot was fun going through it with bicycles. Great start to get to know Bucharest!

First of all, many thanks to Alex! The tour was amazingly interesting and Alex explained things well! We were with a group of 17 guys and still everything was organized smooth. Alex could manage to tell the story with much passion and to everyone's interest. Also his flexibility was top, which allowed us to maintain the day program (we started earlier than initially agreed on). On top of that he helped us to book restaurants which he recommended to us. This is an extra service he offered proactively and helped us a lot, fantastic! If you are seeking an interesting city tour, a guide who is kind, knowledgeable and able to answer any question, fun and someone who keeps his promises, go for Alex and Bike The City. Great second half of the tour. Slow start but improved through the day.

The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The bikes were in excellent condition. The city is beautiful and worth a visit. The historical information was very interesting. This city needs many more cycle lanes as it is challenging to ride in pedestrian areas.

We enjoyed a really nice bike tour through Boekarest. Alex was a great tour guide and provided lots of information about the history of this turbulent city. He also recommended to visit Brasov and Bran castle, but unfortunately the majority of our group wanted to visit the black sea. So that will be something for next time!
