If you’re looking for that mix of a warmth, with a taste of fresh home made cooking, then Daawat Bar & Resto is the place to visit. The restaurant is run by an adorable couple whose smiles make you feel welcomed the moment you step into the restaurant. On my first visit, I had the delicious ‘Chili Prawns 🍤‘ as starters. For the main meal, we had my all time favorite - Butter chicken, which was thick, creamy and sooo delicious with the naan. Two days later I was back again for lunch 😃 and this time I had the chicken biryani with some freshly squeezed orange juice. Oh my! talk about de-li-ci-ous. Before I left, I ordered the samosa with Kadhi, which was made with potatoes and cheese. I’ll definitely be going back there for more bites when next I visit Cotonou. Shout out to Daawat Bar & Resto. We booked for nine of our friends. They served timely with good quality of food.. Felt like having food in home.. They clearly understood our cuisine style and made healthy South Indian delicacies.. Pleasing hospitality..

It's a new restaurant and they are still trying to get their act together. However, the same is compensated for by the personalized service they offer. They also offer delivery and take out. The food comes very close to home-cooked food.
