Great little theatre, run by volunteers and having a major upgrade, facilities are wonderful and the improvements are looking fantastic. Has a brilliant array of shows on, love going.

Visited the Albany Theatre for a small gig. The venue was situated at the back of the main building. The staff (sound guys, security etc) were amazing. Having visited as part of a band, the staff were so friendly & accommodating. Set up was straight forward, sound checks were quick. Once the gig started the sound & lighting was fantastic. Dont think I have met a friendlier bunch of sound engineers at the many venues I have attended. Ideal for smaller bands with anything between 100 & 300 guests While there, there was a fire alarm & the venue had to be evacuated. Staff were calm & handled the situation well ...... luckily it was a false alarm. Would definitely return to this venue.

Fantastic visit to the theatre, brought back lots of memories as I used to go to the college many years ago. Watched a performance of Grease by the children from President Kennedy school, and it was amazing. Their acting and presentation were professional from the outset , a thoroughly entertaining evening for all the family

Lots of improvements since the last time we went, and the production "By the waters of Liverpool" was excellent. Lynne Fitzgeralds many varied performances and accents had us in stitches. Overall a great night's entertainment.

Nice building, very old and grand. Toilets were a little outdated but they were clean. The cafe in the foyer was nice, although we did get shushed by one of the staff for not being overly loud, which felt a bit personal and rude considering the nearest performance was miles away.

I took my daughter to see Macbeth last night as she is doing it for GCSE. The performance was fantastic, the cast played more than one character each and were exceptional. The theatre itself was so lovely too. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is a nice theatre with a good size stage and good sound. The entrance to the building is on the side though and not where you expect so it's not easy to find if it's your first visit. The layout inside is also a little confusing and it's easy to get lost. The toilets are upstairs on opposite staircases so it's a bit of a trek if you are elderly. It did look as if they were having building work done so perhaps they are in the process of working on this.

I had a great night with the family seeing Karl Loxley perform. We got to see him after the show, what a nice man,and I had a photo with Karl and Tim the pianist.what a fab show
