2 different sections - one of which is ideal for dinners - while the other hosting a pool table and live sport

I come here a lot for food. Today I had the soup and then a steak. Asked for everything separately, all brought out together. The bread with the soup was stale. When they re brought my steak out it was not freshly done, only warm and chips were hard

It's a very nice place with tasty food, for kids also

My food took 25 minutes to arrive even though myself and my friend were the only people eating in the pub. When my food finally arrived it was overcooked And chewy. The onions looked like they had been boiled and not fried or even ever seen a frying pan and my friends meal the chicken on her order was inedible. I told the manger that I wasn’t happy with my food she offered to recoil it but I explained I had to get back to work so didn’t have time to wait for my food to be re cooked. Now I’m not one to complain but after today the food and response was appalling.I would seriously recommend to others that they avoid this pub.

Was in upstairs room for christening very spacious with stage for dj, decent sized wooden dance floor, small bar to the right of dance floor can work 2 people, fit around 9 tables on carpeted part and toilets assessable on both floors and disabled access via lift on ground floor

We had an enjoyable time at The Maudslay. It is a popular public house so if you want to give it a try for a meal it would be a good idea to book a table. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of wines, beers and spirits and a good food menu. A word of advice; if you use the car park at The Maudslay, remember to put your car registration onto the tablet in the bar area.

Nice friendly pub for families and pets

Thank you to Kerri for your excellent customer service. Kerri always goes one step further to giving a excellent customer service . We was about to order a kid build you own Sundae , my son was asking for strawberry sauce but on the menu it says chocolate. Kerri said this will be no problem and my son was very happy. When the sundae came out my son said this was ‘the best day ever’ . Thank you Kerri for making my son very happy and being very helpful and attentive.

The staff was really pleasant and helpful the food was very nice the atmosphere was pleasant i went there today with 3 of my friends 1 of my friends birthday today that's is why we had are meal there the atmosphere is good there

It's an amazing pub for food and drinks. Been there a couple of times and really enjoyed it the staff are really friendly and they liven up the place for every one to have a good time. Whenever I'm in Coventry it's my go to because it's so welcoming.

Went in this evening and asked for a pint and a coke, she gave me almost a pint of coke (which when challenged said it was standard) which I did not want.i wanted a normal size 1/2 PT of coke. This is totally liberty taking and greedy to serve the largest portion size instead of the normal measure. LOST CUSTOMERS!! I will not support greed and taking advantage of customers so,,,,,look out for it!!

Food and drinks are excellent value, easy to book and staff are friendly and efficient. Email discount codes certainly make us book again. Great choice of food on the menu, something for most people.

We have come for a family meal with my nan due to her feeling down as well as my birthday meal. We was given a warm greeting and sat near the frount door. Look very festive and was not to busy. We ordered theee steak meals and all was cooked to perfection. And they all melted in our mouths. Chips was amazing and I had scampi with mine and it was amazing. A gentleman at the bar was lovely offered us his 20% discount and free pudding vouchers that really helped. So we had pudding. I had the banoffee cheese cake this was lovely and again melted in my mouth the kids had a brownie and ice cream and loved it my nan had a Elton mess and as big as it was eat the lot !! Very happy from start to finish with our drinks and meal staff was lovely all enjoyed a laugh and was made to feel right at home. So glad I’m have in my wedding here on the 9th of December.

My first time back in the Maudslay in several years for a family meal today. The pub is nice, the food was nice, a polite member of staff served us but the toilets are an absolute disgrace! Dirty, lots of flies, dust, cobwebs...looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. This needs dealing with and quickly. Get it cleaned up and keep it clean!

Great value for money. Excellent service. Staff very attentive. They put a lot of effort into their entertainment calendar and I love the parties they do for the kids throughout the year

Nice meal, (Rump steak), good value and friendly staff. There's a good atmosphere, with a mix of all ages, and the beer is always cold and fresh. Service of the food was super fast as well, given it wasn't a busy time...but I've still waited much longer in other places when there was no one else for miles, so I was impressed. I'll definitely be back.

Beer was good, food was good, initially told of an extended wait for food due to how busy it was, but food was out before we expected. Good honest pub grub.

Service superb and very friendly staff. Facilities excellent and prices not excessive. Also parking not subject to the current policy elsewhere of ticket jiggery pokery. I wanted a comfortable drink with my wife on a Saturday aftermoon and we received that and more.First class!

Great little pub with a friendly atmosphere, staff are welcoming and polite. I usually go here with my dad for some food. The food is standard pub grub, cooked well and presented well. At the end of the day it's pub grub so it ain't gonna get 5 stars. I can't complain about the food it's of good standard and the place is clean. If I had one critical thing to say it would be there is no air in there. As the windows are old they don't open, so it can get a little warm. Some fans might be nice...

Went to a party upstairs lovley nice sized room. Bar staff very friendly and the toilets was just out in the hallway by the entrance to the room they were nice and clean to
