The food was delicious and cooked to perfection! The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon. We will be back again very soon! Thank you 😊

My father goes regularly for Sunday dinner and loves it. So he invited me along and I didn’t know what to expect but it was great. The atmosphere was lovely fairy lights, candles, fires, and a real plus the heating was on. Service was excellent energetic young team and manager. Food was lovely bang on price as well. Already planning return visit with friends. Well done at last a hospitality that wants to deliver in all areas. Thanks

Really friendly staff from when you walk in and the food off the daytime menu we tried was great. Daytime and evening fixed price menu is good value for money as long as there are things on there you like, which tends to be traditional pub fare such as fish and chips. Must admit my nachos as a starter were a welcome surprise being both home cooked and generous! Range of real ales on tap including Purity when we went. Wines look pretty good too. To top it all off it's got a really nice ambience and it's dog friendly, which gives it a bit of a country pub vibe. Glad I went back after several years away.

My friends and I went for a pre booked Christmas lunch today. Big mistake! We waited one hour and a quarter for the starter of prawn cocktail! Then another half hour for the mains, all turkey dinners. The food was pitiful. Only just warm with 2 thin slices of turkey. When we arrived at 12.55pm, we saw plates of turkey dinners being served which were loaded with food , unlike the plates we were served which were paltry portions. Obviously, they were running short. There was 1 waitress who was doing her best and the chap behind the bar, serving. Huge disappointment. Will not be going there again and would strongly advise others not to. Mrs G. Stokes/Elliott

Enjoyed an evening meal here with family, the food was reasonable but some of it was cold but the staff soon exchanged for us. Nice warm family pub give it a try if you are passing on the right side of the road.

We come here at least once sometimes twice a week the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. I come with my client who has Parkinson's and alzheimer's and she always knows that here she is relaxed and happy. The food is always well cooked and extremely well presented. Whatever time of the day we have visited the staff are always polite friendly and very happy.

The staff are always so friendly. The lady that served us seemed like a manager. She was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and came out very quickly. Toilets are always clean. The staff are always happy to give our dogs a bowl of water

Came for a family meal last minute as had family visiting. The food was pub grub, slightly pricey for what it was but nice. The service was great. Would definitely return.

My Mum had booked a table they gave to someone else before we arrived. I ordered a vegetarian meal and was given the meat equivalent. The chef did rectify very quickly. Overall our experience was good.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience here for Christmas Day, the pub was absolutely buzzing but with a nice friendly crowd of people. The staff were amazing and our food hot and tasty. My family and I will definitely book again, we appreciate all the effort the staff went through!! See you soon 😃

Excellent pub, well kept, great atmosphere. Not cramped with tables all through out the pub there’s a nice wide walk through shows they think about wheel chair access. Haven’t tried the food the yet but definitely a great local and one I will be returning to!

I’ve been to the Burnt Post on multiple occasions and one of the main reasons for this is the consistency and quality of there food and drink. The beer is always good and the food is the same with anything off the grill being favourite for me but the wife also dips into the fish and salads offer and has never been disappointed.

My best friend and I visited the Burnt Post last Friday for a long overdue catchup. I had haddock and chips followed by treacle pudding with custard. The food was absolutely fantastic and arrived very quickly - a perfectly cooked fish and wonderful treacle pud. Big thumbs up to the Kitchen Staff. The Bar Staff and Waitresses were all so friendly and really helpful. Would definitely recommend. A lovely evening was spent in a cosy pub.

Went for three course Sunday roast with six friends (and a baby) recently. Would definitely recommend it! For the money, especially these days, it was a real treat! There were loads of staff around and all friendly. Place had a good vibe and was good for children and dogs too.

The manager and bar staff are lovely and welcoming. If there’s a problem, they will fix it straight away. Though having said that, problems rarely arise anyways. Lovely pub. Nicely kept. Good food. Great value.

Fri after work with a friend , ordered vegan burger and a side of chips... Good value...very tasty. Staff were helpful and friendly, good clientele. Good amount of parking available. Vegeterian and vegan menu available . Will be using this place more often.

Ordered a 'posh fish finger sandwich', no where on the description did it say it was basically a battered fish sandwich which is what I received. Was way more batter than fish. My wife complained and was offered a free pudding or another meal but we didn't have time to wait for something else to be cooked etc. We were not offered a refund even though I had left most of the meal. So we will not be rushing back here for another meal...🙁

It seemed like a nice, well spaced pub when I first entered but the service was horribly slow. We must have waited at least 45 minutes before the food got to us. However, I had the Sunday roast that made it worth the wait. Although, towards the end of my meal, I was just finishing off the vegetables and they weren't terribly good. The greens and carrots were both mushy and the parsnips were so overdone, it hurt to bite into them. I picked the Belgian grilled waffles for a desert and they were delicious so it countered the bad vegetables.

We didn't think to book. It was full but a lovely staff member said we could eat outside. We found the little shed very sheltered and cosy ordered our fish n chips and drink at the bar. They came very quick despite the pub being very busy. Super service warm friendly staff delicious food. 😋 Thanks everyone we are from Leeds West Yorkshire and we were famished. Much appreciated.

Nice pub and I will definitely return with family. Good choice of food on the menu and the lunchtime set meal was good value although the portion was small (wondering if it's because it was the lunchtime option). Anyway, the food was nice, service was good and the decor was very inviting. Decent sized car park too and you can sit outside. You can also order food and I believe also drinks via the app at your table which makes it very easy to pay individually if you're in a group.
