I love this little cafe. Gets quite busy at lunch times. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The till went down as I was ordering but the member of staff was constantly apologetic. I had the eggs benidict and its probably the beat eggs benedict I've had. The sauce was delicious and the egg was perfectly poached. The portion size was great. Lovely coffee and drinks. I can't wait to visit again when I'm hoping to sample the coffee with alcohol!

Today I visited this local cafe, I ordered Turkish eggs and a mocha and they where both exceptional. The service was great, the atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to enjoy a reasonably priced delicious food, beautiful decor, and a good vibe. I will definitely be back the check out the rest of the menu. Lovely staff and great for a quick bite. Prices are pretty standard but I loved the food, the Ploughman's toastie was delicious and so is their coffee. I've been there twice in the past week and will probably return.

My family and I come to bora all the time, The food is outstanding and noticeably made with love. The drinks are also amazing very beautifully presented with professional Latte Art. Definitely a 10/10 for me

I visited here yesterday. Lovely selection of cakes, drinks and a hot food menu as well as sandwiches/toasties. I had a vegetarian breakfast consisting of fried egg, fried fresh tomato, halloumi cheese, a choice of brown or white toast with 2 mini butters, hashbrowns, sausages and baked beans, along with a chocolate and coconut frappe topped up with cream. It was delicious. Staff are friendly. I previously went here with my late father with Dementia in 2019 and before. He passed away during the lockdown 2020, due to negligence 💔. They were also very understanding of my dad back then. Greatly recommended. Also great for children.

Same gorgeous coffee, new decor and vibe! Comfy velour seating, faux foliage wall coverings (yes, really!) and sturdy wood tables make this a unique and cosy coffee spot. Good selection of vegan cakes and plant milks, one unisex toilet with baby change (but not accessible for wheelchairs). One of my favourite coffee spots in Birmingham.

This is one of my favourite coffee shops. I dont get chance to go in a lot due to not being in the area due to work. But whenever I get chance, myself and my family pop in when we can. The coffee is always made to absolute perfection, my flat white is always constant, the food is lovely. It's such a refreshing change to go into a coffee shop and get good quality coffee and food.

My favourite coffee shop by far. Staff are always really friendly and offer to get the door for me when I have my baby in the pram. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the area.

Was kinda prepared to be disappointed by this, as there's a trend of average brunch/coffee spots with floral decor in solihull. Have to say I was completely wrong. Coffee is great and their breakfast bagels are also delicious. They also seem very friendly in there.

This was my first time to patron this café but definitely won't have second time. It was a pity that coffee & food were savory, however, staff's attitude screwed up everything. Because of my ear getting infection, the staff was impatient to reply me where is the toilet. She kept speaking ill of customer.

The place is so beautiful, lovely staff and the coffees are great! I had a pecan pastry and it was delicious as well as the almond croissant that I had 2 weeks ago Yummy 😋

I ve been here a couple of times and I have to say that the Barbecue Chicken Melt was very delicious. Also the chef was very friendly when she serves me the food. Overall foods are all great and on time which makes me want to come to this place again.

Nice atmosphere and decor, friendly staff and really good value for brunch/lunch and a good selection of treats and pastries too. Was busy Saturday morning! Good place for me to take my sister in law for lunch and a coffee. Also took away two Italian style pastries for my partner who said they were delicious.

I am giving this review 5 stars because of the quality response from the management over my complaint about the poor customer service. As per best practice, they were grateful for feedback that will help them improve (sorry if that sounds heavy with management speak, but here it was true). I like this concern too much not to give personal feedback and certainly was not disappointed with their response. In the real world, one can not ask for more. I will be back.

The absolute best hummus on toasted sourdough I have ever tasted. The vegan biscoff cake was also lush. And the coffee. Will definitely pop back at some point

Absolute gem of an independent coffee shop! Really good quality coffee which is way ahead of the genetic high street brands. Also an ideal stop off point as there's 3 hours free car parking just behind so you don't have to rush away.

First time patron at this local independent coffee shop and highly impressed. Staff were lovely, food and drinks also great. Although I had neither with me seems both child and dog friendly. I will be recommending others visit and will be coming back again.

Lovely Caramel Cappuccino and warm croissant. The scone could be the star of my morning if only the cream was cottage cream instead...I still finished it off tho, dont like wasting food 😆❤

So sad to have such a disappointing time at Bora coffee today. I have been visiting and supporting Bora as a independent business since it opened many years ago. My family and friends have always loved the homemade cakes that accommodate so many dietary needs especially gluten free options but today this was not the case as the cake cabinet was dominated by doughnuts and there were no gluten free options just ‘low gluten’ which is no good if you have a gluten intolerance and when we asked if there were any gluten free options available, we were just met by vacant looks and silence by the staff. The customer service was sadly lacking and the cheery rapport has been lost. Such a shame as Bora was a special place that’s lost its sparkle.

The independent coffee scene is alive and superbly represented in Shirley. I love the atmosphere here. The clean edges of the interior are complemented with trendy people of young and old. All are relaxed being at the hands of lovely, warm staff. Bora Coffee serve excellently crafted, ethically sourced, arabica, artisan coffee. Whack on an old LP, grab a cuppa and enjoy conversations with the locals.

just now Well... Where to start. This is a cozy independent coffee shop with a friendly team and delicious coffee and home made VEGAN cakes. I was here first time to drink a coffee mocha and i choose to get a white chocholate one with soya milk but you can get it with different milks too if you fancy. I paid £2.6 for the coffee which is not bad. The mocha was perfect. Nice and creamy and i could not taste the coffee itself (it was a good blend) was just perfect for me. Then i thought i try their banana loaf toasted with jam... OMG it was so delicious 😋 melted in my mouth. I was served by a friendly smiling lady then by the manager Matt (i hope wrote down his name correctly). 👌 They have loyalty card too so if u buy 8 hot drinks then u will get one for free. One thing to mention. The place was a little bit cold for me. The seat was comfy and 8-10 people were there at that time. (I was there between 15:35-16:00). Bora coffee was clean all around. If you have time and you are in Shirley-Solihull just pop in and enjoy your time and deffo will enjoy your stay. Recommended 💯! Have a nice day. 👍👌

Good strong coffee. Great selection of vegan desserts to choose from. Staff friendly and helpful. Went on weekend, very busy, unable to get sit-down table.

Really disappointed with our visit. Literally a cheese sandwich; no accompaniments, and bread was a little stale. No other fillings available other than cheese. Menu was attached to the perspex which was no good for my friend in a wheelchair. Had to take a photo and read out to her as there weren't any menus for the table. Felt staff not as attentive as in past. So sad when I want to support the 'little business' on the High Street.

Lovely place, really nice tea and I enjoyed a slice of the lemon and blueberry cake so much so I bought a other to take home for my boyfriend. Had a lovely chat with who I assume is the owner. Will definitely be back.
