On our very first day in Paris, we had to take packed dinner. Upon checking into Novotel room number 10, we were given a room without air conditioning. With packed dinner in the room, and without ventilation we felt uneasy so we requested if air conditioning could be turned on. To this request, their staff gave 2 different answers - 1 said air conditioning was turned off for the entire hotel and 1 said air conditioning was turned off only for a few rooms. We anyway requested for the room to be changed to one with air conditioning turned on ( as staff said few rooms had AC turned on ). The next day, when we were on tour, in our absence our luggage was shifted by Novotel staff without informing us or the Tour Manager. Upon reaching the hotel we found this out as our key was not working. The Novotel staff told us the room was changed to room number 17. Upon going to room number 17, we found 2 different guests living there. So we went back to the reception livid that our luggage was shifted in our absence and now we did not even know where it was. Still the manager refused to move from his seat. One of his subordinates then went from 1 door to another searching for our luggage and finally found it in room no 41 (not mentioned at all in Novotel records). Totally unprofessional from Novotel. If the air conditioning was turned off for the entire hotel (which was true as our second room also was non-AC), why change our room at all ? Can the staff atleast have clear information if Air Conditioning is turned ON or OFF in their own hotel ? The reception staff and especially the manager was rude and racist. He even stopped a few guests on the tour from taking breakfast without checking that our package included premium breakfast at the hotel. Except for Wood - the guy who went door to door searching for our luggage, the entire Novotel staff was pretty much useless.

Unfortunately, there is no flatting iron - because this hotel only has 3 and don't know where they are. They might be able to provide it at 10 am if they find them- my conference is at 9. I'm on a business trip and will have to go with wrinkled clothes. The room they gave me was not made bed has been used, the towels were on the ground. Don't know what can go more wrong within the first 2 h of a 1 night stay😂

Good location and environment, unfortunately terribly managed!!! Bad smell everywhere, beds need to be changed, I had to ask to change room and receptionist knew, so why not giving a better bed from the beginning, especially to platinum member! I saw a cockroach at breakfast near the bread on the table… really ridiculous! I suggest management to invest much more in people and furnitures to make this hotel good again… any Ibis brand has better beds than this Novotel.. that’s very unfortunate!

One of the most terrible hotels ever. Dirty, overpriced, weared-out, stains in bed and carpet. Food is poor and crap. Not a 4 star hotel. I won't come back again.

Decent place. Comfortable beds. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast could use some more choices but otherwise no complaints. Very nice surroundings especially if your in the mood for a stroll. And if you happen to be Muslim there is a beautifully finished mosque across the street. It is situated in a lovely neighborhood however if you’re looking to explore the city of Paris it’s about an hour on public transportation and not much better by car. Enjoy.

This is a bad hotel, it has both a dirty environment and terrible service. On the other hand, they show discriminatory and racist behavior towards Indian and Turkish guests. Even though the money is paid, they don't provide breakfast properly; they've left a jar of jam and a bun in an extremely disgusting manner on the table. In short, everything is dirty and awful; if you want to pay money to experience misery, go there.

I want to give zero. Air conditioning doesn't work. Breakfast was the worse ever I experienced in europe. Water heating went off in between. For the air conditioning all of the staff has one reason by heart. This is France, airconditioning does not work in April. For breakfast only one type of bread. That too white. Weird tasting fruits with perfume smell, coffee machine not working. Keeps raw eggs and people come and pick it up thinking its boiled and break it. No platters are refilled in breakfast buffet. The basic coffee machine is not working. Above all, the day of check out, the cleaning staff comes by in the morning and gives an awful warning to get ready and leave soon. Never ever will go back. And when raising the situation the reception staff has all to say is you were unlucky... wow what a consolation. A total shame to NOVOTEL group

Ridiculously over priced...large bedrooms but very tired and dated. Cleanliness questionable. Breakfast small but sufficient. Staff friendly and accommodating

My stay at this hotel was a nightmare from the moment we walked in. The lobby had an unpleasant smell, and things only went downhill from there. The room was in a deplorable state, with stains on the carpet, dirty bed linens, and an unclean bathroom. It felt more like a run-down motel than a hotel. In fact, the conditions were so appalling that we had to leave and book another hotel. The only glimmer of hope was when the receptionist lady promised a refund, but our hopes were shattered when Expedia reached out, and the hotel heartlessly refused to honor that promise. This was a truly regrettable experience. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!

Great hotel - stayed here for 4 nights, location lacked a little but the hotel made up for it.

The worst experience ever; First they billed extra amount than what’s in the reservation (410€ instead 323€), Second, the AC was defect (only blowing hot air), no bottle of water in the room as promised, no hair conditioner, no tissues, and finally the did not clean the room after the next day for us, although I asked for it and they confirmed it will be done. And the answer to all that from the hotel personnel was was “sorry”! Finally, the breakfast was not better than all above!

Don't even bother reserving this place. We stayed here for 4 nights and it was horrible. The pool was closed, when it was supposed to be open. The electricity went out more than once. Rooms are not the most clean and need to be updated. There is no microwave or anywhere to warm up any food. It's pretty far from París center. Workers here are not helpful at all. Poor customer service and amenities suck.

AVOID IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES! One of the worst experiences I have had with this hotel. I booked an executive room through Expedia and unfortunately decided to pay upfront. Upon arriving at the hotel after a 10-hour drive, the receptionist cheekily tried to give us a smaller room. Upon inspection, I advised her that we had an executive booking to which she said sorry we do not have that room type available. The room had a strong unpleasant smell and was not habitable. There were four of us which is why I booked the executive room, and I was unable to accommodate 4 people in the room offered. Upon complaining, the receptionist said they would gladly facilitate a refund as the room was overbooked, which is not my fault. I have since been in touch with Expedia (who have not been of any help as they cannot get in touch with the manager to authorise the refund) and whenever I try to call the hotel, I am advised that the manager is unavailable. I have sent an email that has not been replied to so now I am left with no alternative apart from raising a dispute with the credit card company. I would strongly advise against anyone considering staying at this hotel.

Very disappointed with the room. Upon checking into the room (executive suite) I found a nickel size bed bug lying on its back on the bathroom sink. After my 2nd request the staff finally agreed to let me downgrade the room (classic suite) with the same price. Curtains and bathtub plug broken. Room has not been well maintained since pre-Covid. The staffs were inexperienced at the front desk, long check-out time, the gentleman running the bar could wear a smile, the ladies helping at the restaurant were more professional. I would never stay at this hotel again!

I’ve told I need twin bed but gave me double. Then changed to a room under renovation but staff didn’t know it? so I fixed my room by third times. Final day I ordered breakfast on bed but I got nothing when the time I booked. The counter told me I can reorder but need to wait 30 mins. actually I have no time to wait in 15 mins. finally I got my food but not what I ordered before a day. it was really funny when I stayed at an international hotel.

Worst Novotel I have ever stayed. I travel a lot for work and have stayed in many hotels and can honestly say, this was a disgrace especially for France. I arrived at 6pm to check in and when I opened the door to my "suite", the room was filthy. Bedding was thrown all over and the bathroom had used wet towels and rubish on the floor. Clearly room was not cleaned since the last occupant. I asked the staff to clean the room and they replied "I think it is ok". I refused and requested a new room. 3 hours later I recieved the key card to a clean room. No apology and very poor attitude

Place is situated near a small lake. Tge rooms are fine with bathroom and toilet seperated. The rooms are a nice size and have a small fridge and safe as standard. The carpets in the room were a bit warn and in the steps thay are very warn. The breskfast is fine with a selection of fruit, cereals, pastries and eggs. There is no real reception just a person with a laptop.

Classic example of Novotel needing more experienced Staff at the top here. I found this hotel very average. From making your own eggs at breakfast to little staff at certain periods. Breakfast is not worth €17 Parking is an advantage as it's free Rooms are ok - however cleaning was never spotless Novotel - get some strategic changes done there

The price makes this location attractive. But nothing else, in our opinion. Minus points: 1. Restaurant closes at 22:00, you can not get drinks or food... (I am not going on holidays to not be able to eat untill 00:00.. for example: sometimes the trafic does not let you reach the hotel in time) 2. The menu from the restaurant is poor. You barely have some stuff to choose. 3. The cleaning lady was knocking in the morning at the door saying she has to clean! Very very very rude. We speak about it at the reception but apparently they did nothing about it. We stayed over there 6 nights , and we left early the first 4 days. When we wanted to sleep more, the last 2 days we realized that the cleaning lady was very rude and unprofessional. Of course, if they did nothing about it, we considered the personnel the same, unprofessional. 4. Noise: we don't know what's the hotels policy about this, but kids were running and screaming in the hallways, and nobody did nothing about it. (The cleaning lady liked it... I think she was happy people were waking up and she could clean, duh...)... Anyway, I get that unfortunate can happened, but I also believe some decency rules can be enforced by the staff. 5. We were treated differently when we had French speaking persons with us, at dinner. We have family in Paris and they came so we eat toghether. Personnel treat us totally different. I blame this, and I find it shamefull. It's 2022 French people, grow the hell up. (It's definitely nothing racist over here, no no... "input sarcasm") Plus points: Location and prices.

Mostly disappointed of a Novotel Hotel which are normally on another standard level. Check-In: We had a late checkin due our long trip from Amsterdam to Paris. An unmotivated night audit welcomed. The process wasn´t special but he let our elderly senior partner in the 80s paying 5€ more than on the receipt. Additionally on that the staff didn´t ask us if we need a receipt, we had to ask him for it - not appropriate at all. Room: Old but okay. Room was cleaned partly dust here and there. Safe wasn´t unlocked so the staff had to unlock it for us. Air Conditioner wasn´t really working so it´s just "fresh air" but not really pleasant when outside temperature is 36°C. Bathroom has everything we needed but its definitely should get a renovation especially the door handles. Staff F&B Department: We didn´t check out the breakfast. But we had a lunch and some smaller visits with coffee and snacks. While our lunch there were like 30-40 customer sitting in the restaurant. Staff was clearly not available to host all guests. We had to wait around 10-15min for a waiter to welcome us. Food was good and quickly served but not rembrandt. Cutlery was missing and no one had the time to give us some. So I went to the bar and waited for the manager not sure if hotel or just restaurant manager to see me and ask me what I need. But even after 3min standing in front of the bar he kept talking with other customers. His collegues didn´t notice me waiting for something at the bar as well. So I picked up myself 3 cutlery. For the payment process we got our bill on table but no one got back to our table to receive the money. Again I went to the bar - am I the waiter? Does the staff like to earn some extra money aka Tips. Does the management want customers repeatedly coming back? What definitely shows the understaffed or not experienced staff including manager are following facts: Guests wait for a waiter to welcome them, guests have to go to the bar to get noticed, manager not seeing needs of the guests, almost not showing any smile especially from the manager. Positive points: - nice housekeeping personal - friendly trying french waiter from the "lunch" time with less English skills - friendly french female waiter and french male waiter from the late shift - quiet environment although there are younger families with kids Management 100% has to be changed or has to wide their point of view what has to be developed in the hotel. Reviews from other guests here just approved the currently situation of the hotel.

This hotel is NOT secured at all. My wife has been stolen her bag inside the restaurant (during breakfast) in few seconds. My daughter was sitting there. No camera I’m the restaurant. Till today nothing has been done. I really recommend to be very careful …

Very reasonable price and very nice room. Booked room only, so can not have any idea about breakfast. Hotel lobby is quite nice with many space to sit and have time, also there is swimming room. Liked the parking place just in front of the hotel. The only thing, main entrance have stairs and we had some trouble to get in with baby stroller and luggages. If you have moderate expectations about your stay, this is a real good option

Very disappointing. Stayed in several Novotels before and the lobby area is nice which gives you a false hope for the room sadly. There are several steps from the car park to the lobby with no ramp, so if you're carrying heavy luggage be aware. In our room, the shower head wouldn't stay in place, I did ask the hotel to fix this which they didn't. The toilet paper holder was missing. If you like AC to keep the room cool, look elsewhere, it has AC but might as well not. This hotel is not looked after and it shows unfortunately. Breakfast was reasonable but very busy and you have to cook your own eggs. It's a 4 star hotel based on facilities as it has a swimming pool etc but not the quality you expect.

Before we arrived (Quite late about 9/10pm) we asked for the spare bed to be made up and an extra pillow in the room. When we got into the room none of this had been done, there was then fireworks and loud music going on in the park until gone midnight opposite the hotel, which we were not informed about, we would have been informed we would have gone elsewhere. Upside was when we explained everything that had gone on the previous night to the morning staff, they were very kind and offered us free breakfast, the food was very nice. If I went again I would for sure ask first if there is anything going on in the park opposite but other than that it was a very nice hotel, very clean, friendly staff and lovely views when eating breakfast in the morning.

My boys and I had a very pleasant stay here. The staff were very accommodating. The breakfast was a great value since kids ate free. We enjoyed it each day. I loved sitting and talking with friendly staff at the end of the day. The shuttle bus back and forth to the airport - even late - was wonderful. Had a great time here! T

Old. Restaurant and bar prices are over market values and quality is under expectations for a 4 star hotel.
