This airport is a dump. As soon as you go through the door, you can see the disabled access ramps, built at an angle of 50 degrees, meaning that nobody can use them except for slide purposes. Then you go through security and you are met by a hot humid atmosphere as the airport does not have any air conditioning, even tho, the outside temperatures are in the high 30s. Avoid this airport at all cost.

Total lack of organisation, the screens are there just for decoration, everyone just tries to get in however they can. Priority passengers are not boarded first, but rather everyone goes in the same time, and then they're like sheeps trying to find their place, which takes an eternity. No queues respected, the staff was writing on a piece of paper some numbers. There were 2 flights, one for London Luton and one for Bruxelles. No one knew where to sit, where is the gate, where is the priority queue. It's unbelievable how low level this airport is. The staff is careless, they were more interested to go get a coffee. There's no audio announce for the flights either. A shame and a joke!

Horrible organiztion. Never, never I saw such a bad organizied Checkin. Not even in Sicily or in Greece.

Worst airport ever no digital panel for information no audio information to anounce the flight and last call for passenger staff usefull no help no speak english they direct me to wait on the qeue for dropp off baggage after 35 min waiting on the queue they said checkin close was 25 min before departure time . This incident caused panic attack for my daughter wich is 10 years . Worst think is the staff refused to show the ecuson with the name they refused they think is international airport with no information at all no sign no audio information shame to all the staff wich are all incompetent i m courious what tha autority will say about “ last call “ last call “

Well it is quiet convenient as is close to a lot of homes around the county , it can be done with a bigger development which can bring more work , temperature on the day was about 29 degrees and no air-conditioning inside the building or in the smoking area , I saw that there was air conditioning in the building but not working . I will give a 5 🌟 as is much better then traveling several hours to reach home .

Check in went quickly. Airport is small but they have a small duty free area where u can find some traditional souvenirs, also there are areas created for smoking , haveing a drink or reading.

I give it 5 stars because three years ago I had a very good experience! 🙂 But now I want to go and I can't buy the ticket, there are no flights, maybe they already took it away 🤦🤦🤦🤦

Something out if this planet, people are rude,not civilized and the cleaning is out of order. It’s worse than a bus stop,don’t know how they got this function as an airport.Unfortunately this is the only route the get to the closest location i needed to. The airport looks like a construction zone even after the constructions were finished. From the broken walls with cables sticking out of them to the pencil written cardboards that showed the personnel where to put the luggage for the airplane it was very unpleasant to step into it. Once the security check was done the passengers are guided to the duty-free area where there is no information given about the future flights due to the monitors not working or the speakers not existing. A very poor experience all in all.

The smallest airport I've seen but looks very nice and has friendly staff. You save time (8 hours) and money for a round trip to Henri Coanda airport in Bucharest. Well worth it!

Downstairs was very cold.upstairs very hot.only 1 small shop was open where actually can get something to drink but nothing yo eat during your wait,also not much to offer.and that only dury free shop way overpriced.however the arirport is under refurbishment.the check in went pretty smooth tho.

Very small airport, max. 6 flights a day. Unfortunately it doesn't have very clean toilets, the waiting area has a bare minimum of seats leaving most travelers to await their flight standing and there's no changing station for small children, but there are babybeds with a small changing corner on the first floor. There are two overpriced duty free shops on the groundfloor and two small bar/coffeshop with smokers area on the first floor. Even though, this airport has a limited awareness of travelers needs, it's the only airport in the area otherwise you'd have to flight to Bucharest and travel for another two hours (at best) by car to reach Craiova.

One of the worst airports I ve ever been. I will start with the staff , very rude and not helpful at all, they were speaking in a way that I ve never heard in my life. Once we are in the wainting area, no monitor information!!! you have the go and ask at each gate , to be sure you are wanting in the right place. The have small duty free and a snack corner. I don't recomend the sandwich. And not to forget is impossible to call at this airport!!! Small airport located quite close to the city. Not busy. Inside the airport you can find shops and bars, even a special place where you can smoke. There's room for improvement, especially for the sound system for public announcements.
