It was my first time experiencing an authentic Turkish breakfast at a restaurant, and I must say it was an excellent choice. The food was fantastic, with a wide variety of cheeses, jams, and eggs, served with delicious bread. The mulberry juice and Tea were also good. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who were quick to answer to our requests. The ambiance of the place was cozy and calm, making us feel completely at ease and relaxed. Moreover, the prices were reasonable and affordable.

The food was very very very delicious. The price is very ok, like 10€ to eat a meal and drink a soda. The day I ate plus dessert and hummus, I paid 15€. The only strange thing, that I think is usual in Istanbul, is the cats. They are everywhere and I am allergic. In the restaurant they go up to the table and chairs. It is quite strange and uncomfortable, but it happens in a lot of places there.

It’s a good place for trying the turkish breakfast. Their menu is rich of dishes. We tired Lahmacun, Pide with cheese and sausage and borec . The food was very good and tasty. Only their Ayran is so diluted. Highly recommended

This was an exquisite experience of some Turkish breakfast delicacies! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ordered the full breakfast for 4 people. It was honestly more food than 4 people can ever eat to be honest. But every plate was super tasty. They have really cool handmade plates and mugs which you can also buy from their shop.

It was a blooming experience with authentic Turkish breakfast, such a nice surprise to enjoy a generous, elegant and delicious breakfast! I would recommend this place to everyone when you are in Istanbul, don’t miss it. It brightened the gloomy windy rainy weather! The price is affordable and the staff are very friendly, makes me feel like I want to be back to Istanbul more often 🤗

The perfect place for breakfast! I came and chose a table on the terrace. Literally a second later, a heater was turned on above my table. Obviously, I chose the Turkish breakfast. The menu has options for 2 or 3 people. Since I was just by myself waiter asked if I want a breakfast just for one. Of course I agreed. After breakfast was served I still wondered that it has much more options than in any other restaurants! Food was above and beyond. After all, I received extremely delicious Turkish coffee! One of the best breakfasts so far! Very kind and thoughtful team. ♥️ Отдельное спасибо русскоговорящего официанту Мердану!

The best find of our trip to Istanbul so far. Such a delectable and authentic Anatolian breakfast with the most courteous staff and charming ambience. We sat on the terrace while it was drizzling outside which added to the amazing experience. Highly recommended brunch!

Delicious spot for a traditional Turkish breakfast. The staff is warm and friendly and eager to ensure you have the best experience possible. Do not miss the types of bread - they were incredible.

Found this cafe by chance, but I found it awesome. Traditional Turkish breakfast is served delightful, with many options to taste. Fatih who works in this restaurant helped me with the choice friendly and nicely. I got a very good expression afterwards. People and food is what making a restaurant a good one. I would gladly recommend this place to my friends and family :)

2023: Gotta balance the positive experiences with the negative one, so it was only time that I'd encounter a 1-2star place. First, it was a 10min wait, no acknowledgement from any of the staff whatsoever. Which was fine given how busy they were. I was that ignored that people basically just cut infont, were about to be seated but I spoke out to the staff member. She finally noticed me and sat me down. It was another 25mins before my order was taken, the place had died down by then. Upon my waiting, I noticed how much food waste there was here, because everyone's ordering the Breakfast option. On many tables to be cleared, there were so many untouched dishes. I too contemplated the Breakfast option, but wasn't sold, as it was mostly cold dishes, olives, spreads or simply chopped ingredients. I recommend ordering dishes that require a few steps of cooking. As previously mentioned, by a few others also, the service here is either the best or the worst. Not sure of what the determining factors are, but if you receive the later, you'll know. I didn't even receive any cutlery, so I knew where I sat. Every kebab shop I've visited had better service. Good on them on gaming the system, though, buying 5 star reviews with free coffee or similar incentives. Oh, and yes, the final nail of the coffin, they tack on a service charge to the bill. **

What a great find in Istanbul. My wife and I wanted to try some traditional Turkish breakfast and stumbled across this place on TripAdvisor- it did not disappoint. We got the Turkish Anatolian Breakfast and it came with a great variety of cheeses, fruits, pastes, and much more. All of it was very tasty and served in a cute fashion. The service was great with friendly and efficient staff. The atmosphere was very homey and inviting. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back before departing from Istanbul.

Lovely place, where you can experience traditional Turkish breakfast from quality ingredients. Staff is super nice and caring, best we've seen so far in Istanbul. Should definitely be your number 1 place to go on your first morning in the city.

Great Turkish breakfast, one of the best I’ve had. Their freshly made bread is delicious. Whole experience was made even better by the little kittens running around. Turkish breakfast for 3 was 900 lira.

This is the perfect place to have your first authentic Turkish breakfast! The food was ample, the portion for 2 can feed 4 instead so keep that in mind when ordering. They’re very generous with their portion so I feel very bad for not finishing everything. The only thing that can be better than the food is the service from Aslanbey and Slamet. Very attentive, friendly and kind. Overall, highly recommend this place.

Aslanbey was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Thanks again to the whole team for such amazing experience in Turkey!

An amazing Turkish breakfast experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and when I had a few questions about the good items (just general knowledge-based questions) they were happy to help. The tea and coffee were also super delicious. Next door there is also a little shop that sells the plates they serve the food on (they are beautiful). I would return and I recommend going to everyone :)

Best traditional turkish breakfast we’ve had in Istanbul!! The place opens really early which was nice and they served us quickly. They have a ton of cute tea pots and such for sale as well. Everything tasted amazing. We got some fresh juice, coffee, the melted cheese, menemen, Turkish breakfast, and fries!

The reviews didn’t lie, it was a very good breakfast 👍 more sophisticated than a typical one with items like hummus and pumpkin dessert. We finished almost everything, it was really tasty. The staff are very friendly and attentive and speak good English and Russian. Thank you Fatih :)

The outdoor seating area was lovely. The menemen was delicious, the muhlem (sp? The melted cheese dish) was also fantastic, more rich then salty. Prefer it if you get it, so it doesn't have time to cool. Overall a great spot with tons of delicious things to try!

Great service, everyone was polite, always available and helpful. They prepared a table for the two of us outside, and after ordering we quickly got our food. We were in 2 and decided to get the Turkish breakfast and it overwhelmed us the amount of side dishes. It was beautiful first and delicious when we tried them. There were sweet and savory options. We had a miscommunication in between, we finished first the omelette and the meat, and soon after they brought us more of that. But we didn't understand the waitress when she asked us about the two dishes we finished. So we told them that we are alright and we won't need more of those when they served us again. They kindly understood and left us regardless the extra meat. For the two of us we payed 660 lira.

I recently visited Sa Va Anatolian Breakfast House in Istanbul with high hopes for a delightful breakfast experience. However, despite the restaurant's reputation for its scrumptious food, the abysmal service overshadowed any positives during my visit. Upon entering the restaurant, my companions and I were excited to indulge in a delectable breakfast. Unfortunately, our enthusiasm quickly dwindled as we sat at our table, waiting for what felt like an eternity without anyone acknowledging our presence. It took over 20 minutes before a server finally approached us to take our order. We attempted to flag down waiters multiple times, but they merely passed by, blatantly ignoring our pleas for attention. Regrettably, the lack of responsiveness was not only frustrating for us but also for the neighboring table, who eventually grew so frustrated that they decided to leave. Now, let's turn our attention to the one redeeming aspect of our experience—the food. Sa Va Anatolian Breakfast House does offer a tantalizing selection of dishes that are undoubtedly delicious. Each bite was filled with rich flavors and showcased the traditional Anatolian cuisine. However, it's essential to note that the prices at this establishment are noticeably higher compared to other similar spots in Istanbul. Considering the steep costs, one would expect exceptional service to accompany the premium dining experience, but sadly, this was not the case. Ultimately, while the food at Sa Va Anatolian Breakfast House is undeniably appetizing, the disappointing service detracts significantly from the overall dining experience. Waiting for over 20 minutes without being acknowledged and being repeatedly ignored by passing waiters is simply unacceptable. Additionally, the elevated prices compared to other establishments in Istanbul make it even more disappointing when the service falls short. If you're willing to overlook subpar service and are solely interested in savoring delectable Anatolian cuisine, then Sa Va Anatolian Breakfast House might be worth a visit. However, for those seeking a complete dining experience that includes attentive service, it's difficult to justify the steep prices. Perhaps the restaurant management should focus on improving their service standards to truly live up to their potential and provide customers with a memorable breakfast experience.

We ordered the Traditional Turkish Breakfast. It was the first time we were having a Turkish breakfast but it was delicious. While it's pricier than other eateries in the vicinity, they do have a lot more dishes in the breakfast. 10/10, would recommend. A 10% service charge is included in the final bill

  • 5/5 Angie R. 7 months ago on Google
Great atmosphere, very kind and explained to us each item included in the Turkish breakfast we ordered. Has cats roaming around (as everywhere else in Istanbul) which are very sweet and looking for any food you would like to feed them. I fed the kitties cheese and the employees explained that the cats live around the restaurant and that they feed and care for the street cats too!! Loved this place and definitely coming back the next time I’m in Turkey:)

First breakfast experience in Istanbul and was delighted with the quality of food and service provided at this restuarant. The owner (Akhmed) was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered there Turkish breakfast and all items were fresh and tasted wonderful and the owner brought out a complementary turkish coffee to end the meal off. I highly recommend this restuarant to anyone looking for a wonderful breakfast experience which is reasonably priced and with awsome service.

Lovely place with great food. Recommend the Turkish Breakfast for a great variety of breakfast dishes, meze, olives and Turkish tea! You will get plenty of food, so a 2 person breakfast will easily feed 3 people.

I got here right as they opened and it was the best thing I could ask for honestly. Staff were all deep cleaning the restaurant, neighborhood was very calm and quiet (city was not awake just yet), there were kittens chilling in the patio, staff were patient and helpful with my order, tea is unlimited, and food is extremely delicious (although I could not finish the Turkish breakfast platter LOL). Turkish coffee is also on point 🤝
