The
Marriott
Bucharest
offers
an
experience
that
largely
impresses,
with
its
exceptionally
large
and
clean
rooms,
providing
a
sense
of
luxury
and
comfort.
The
staff
here
are
notably
friendly
and
accommodating,
adding
to
the
overall
positive
experience.
Additionally,
the
hotel
boasts
several
high-end
amenities,
including
luxury
brand
stores,
a
spa,
and
a
casino,
though
it's
worth
noting
there's
a
50
LEI
entry
fee
for
the
casino.
However,
there
are
a
couple
of
areas
where
the
hotel
could
improve.
The
soundproofing
in
the
rooms
is
not
quite
up
to
the
mark.
During
my
stay,
I
was
often
disturbed
by
the
sounds
of
people
walking
in
the
corridor
and
doors
opening
or
closing.
More
disruptively,
I
was
once
woken
up
by
the
sound
of
coughing
that
seemed
very
close
by,
which
was
particularly
startling
for
someone
like
me
who
is
a
light
sleeper
and
easily
awoken
by
unusual
noises.
I
brought
this
issue
to
the
attention
of
the
reception
staff,
who
were
very
understanding
and
promptly
offered
to
change
my
room.
This
quick
and
responsive
service
was
much
appreciated
and
demonstrated
the
hotel's
commitment
to
guest
comfort.
In
summary,
while
the
Marriott
Bucharest
excels
in
providing
spacious
luxury,
friendly
service,
and
various
amenities,
guests
who
are
sensitive
to
noise
might
want
to
request
a
room
in
a
quieter
part
of
the
hotel.
The
proactive
customer
service
should,
however,
mitigate
most
concerns,
ensuring
a
pleasant
stay
overall.
