This Church is so distinctive in this area and the only medieval building that seems to exist in this area of Rue de la République and place des Cordeliers. There are at least almost twenty chapels on both sides of the nave as you enter. Stunning organ gallery with spectacular stained-glass windows that light up this old but beautiful church. It's named after Saint Bonaventure, a cardinal who died in Lyon. One interesting factor that this church is oriented towards the south which is rare at the time. Beautiful Church worth visiting (when there's no services on) for all ages and backgrounds.

What an amazing interior, the church is lined with majestic stained glass windows. Was fortunate to visit as the Sun shone through with cornucopia of colour.

2 times this week for a closed door. When the paper on the door said it's open........

The church itself is ok. Really you should come to see the outstanding stained glass windows.

Very nice chapel which is underrated - or not rated at all. Beautiful stained glass - breath taken - which tell you the history and the story of ancients. Personally prefer this chapel to the one in Old Lyon.

There are beutiful chandeliers. And also many wonderful stained glasses. Recommend this place

Was a great concert out there

The only Catholic church in a strict center of Lyon that offers every day confession in few languages (such as English, Spanish or French). Just for the people who work a lot and don't necessarily can confess in the little time offered in their district.
