My friend and I contracted Travel with Ziggy for a four-day tour of Senegal. It was not a good experience, and I will not be using this company again. The problems began from the minute my friend and I landed in Dakar. Our tour guide from Travel with Ziggy wasn’t waiting for us with a sign with our names on it as most tour companies do. He was siting in the car in the parking lot. My friend and I had to go look for him rolling our heavy luggage, tired after traveling overnight to an unknown place. The car which was to take us around Senegal was old, dirty and it smelled. The driver/tour guide didn’t know how to use the AC and we had to do it for him. He also didn’t speak a word of English and I didn’t speak French thus for the four days of our “tour” I had to depend on my friend to communicate with the driver/tour guide. Although the driver/tour guide was very nice and accommodating, it was clear that Ziggy, the owner of the company, did not communicate with him before our arrival regarding how to do his job correctly. Ziggy was out of the county at the time. Often the driver/tour guide had to ask for directions how to get places. When we were taken to certain sites where another person was conducting the tour guide, that person didn’t speak English or spoke only very basic English. Travel with Ziggy should had made sure the tour guides they hired spoke at least basic English otherwise the company should have informed us of this fact. My friend and I paid Travel with Ziggy what I believe in Senegal is a good amount of money for four days. What we got back was a disorganize tour, a dirty old car to take us around, and mediocre service. If I was to return to West Africa, I will not be traveling with Ziggy and neither should you if you read this review.

I joined this tour after hearing about it from a friend and I'm so glad I did. It felt easy getting to and from Lampool - everything was well organised. The actual camp was gorgeous, great food, lovely Yurts. The best part was that Ziggy managed to create an amazing sense of community among the group and that just made the experience incredible! And I must say, as a non native/basic French speaker, I still felt completely comfortable and integrated. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

Great experience overall! Ziggy was extremely kind, friendly and considerate. He hosted 30 of us with ease. He gave us complimentary snacks and water for the long road trip in Africa. Answered all our questions. Laughed with us and experienced life with us like he was family. Please do not hesitate to reach out to him and ask him all the questions. Traveling with Ziggy was Amazing!!! He is very communicative, courteous, and educated. Booking with him is a no brainer! Will 1000% recommend booking anything with Ziggy. Very humble and for the people!!

I really enjoyed travelwithziggy to Saint Louis, he provided us with all the planning in advance, we got to visit many places there and learn about the city history. It’s really cool

Franchement, #TravelWithZiggy est la meilleure expérience touristique jamais vécu jusque-là. I had such an incredible week end with Travel with Ziggy. We went to Lompoul Desert for a day and had the opportunity to spend the night at the camp. It was incredible and I met an amazing group of people. The agency was well organized, communicative, and offered a variety of activities for the group to get to know each other, making the whole trip much more enjoyable. If you are in Senegal and are looking for a travel agency, I definitely recommend this one. You won’t be disappointed !

While in Senegal our group booked a tour guide with Ziggy. As a large group it can get a little over whelming but Ziggy had it all under control. He answered everyone’s questions and concerns. Communication was extremely easy going. He provided transportation and food for everyone. Ziggy’s personality is so welcoming. We truly felt like he had our best experience in mind. I would recommend to book with Ziggy because he is patient, kind, and well spoken. He loves what he does and it showed in our interaction with him. So book with Ziggy! You won’t regret it.
