Had a spa day downtown, and decided to stop here for brunch/lunch based on a recommendation. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. It was nicely decorated and was small but well layed out. I had the chicken avocado grilled sandwich with potatoe salad. It was soooo good. My wife has the Armenian Brunch - and those tomatoes made everything on the plate that much better. I highly recommend both of those options. For a sweet treat we also got a piece of cheesecake to go, and it was the best cheesecake I’ve had in Dakar this far. I can’t wait to go back!

A nice, quiet, air-conditioned, clean, modern cafe, serving cakes, drinks, and brunch, all homemade. Ingredients are fresh and they have great customer service. Kitchen closes at 4pm, and they run out of some items later in the afternoon. Menus have English, and they have a loyalty card, spend 7,500 CFA+ 10 times, get one meal free. Cash only, not cheap.

A beautiful oasis in bustling Dakar!!! French and Lebanese pastries were displayed so graciously. Everyone must try the potato salad that comes with savory dishes: It is divine!!!

Delicious cheese cake! The red fruits dressing gives it a good kick!

Brunch was disappointing. For the price they charge, I was expecting a bigger plate and large quantities. I will be brunching at the Pistache & Noix next time. Smoothie was ok. Food was average. My first and last time at this place.

Quite nice place, delicious cakes, lovely drinks. A nice ambiance, over the average.

What an atmosphere, you would think you re in London or Soho in NY. And well that's not all: the food is a ma zing. Salads and cakes are just too good to be true. My favourite is the breqd pudding (pain perdu)...

Always such a treat, in a warm and cosy setting with an ever-welcoming host.

Food was so good! Parking was horrendous so need to plan for that..

The best cheesecake in town

Amazing pastry, fresh creative salads, eco-friendly smoothies and hip lemonades. Also the eggs benedict with salmon are a revelation. A tiny bit expensive but hey, worth it!! Thanks for being in the Dakar food landscape, guys

Clean, classy, spacious, busy, friendly. Pricey, but delicious. I just had a few pastries. If I were price insensitive, it would get 5 stars :)

I simple love Pause douceur. Amazing food and pastries. Welcoming staff plus the place is nice and cozy. They have the best cheese cake in town.

Nice little bakery with succulent pastry. Their japanese cheesecake is incredible!
