Bad customer service on average. Coffee is nespresso, they have fresh orange juice, good pattiserie. Orders are always in a rush with unfriendly staff.

Really tasty pastries and bread in Dakar ! Top of my list. However I would recommend to order for home delivery either via phone or their WhatsApp app. When going there, staff is not welcoming at all. You’ll find several ladies behind the counter ignoring you and keeping you waiting for no reason, even when there are no customers lining in front of you.

Everytime you go to this place there is a chaotic queue and like 1000 ladies behind the counter, 50% of whom are totally distracted or staring off into space. Outside on the street the place causes daily traffic jams and accidents as mindless drivers pull in and out of parking spaces while hoards of talibé, street sellers and old ladies wage an assault on attention. Good croissants.

The croissants are good, if any are left when you get through the queue. They have ok ice cream cakes, several ok pastries, some taste as if they use crisco or margarine. They seem to be getting complacent. The service generally sucks. The queue is not organized. Anyone can cut the line. No thought to the order of the line. There are many people working behind the counter. Half of them just stand around chatting. Several are friendly, the others don’t really care to help you. Maybe it’s a French thing. It would be more organized if hey had a machine where you could take a number and wait your turn. The place draws hoards of little children who chase you down as you leave, with empty bowls, knocking at your car window, asking for change, and old women who block your car as you pull out, the place is an accident waiting to happen. In case you are a baker they do carry wet yeast. If they were more organized and helpful or friendly I’d give them 4 stars. If they made bagels I’d give them 5. The bagels in the photo are mine.

Excellent pastry, breads, special breads, chocolates. A well-known place to call and pick up a birthday cake you ordered for example. Really appreciated it the quality of services and foods.

Lovely variety, quality is very good, place is always very busy , be prepared to wait for quite some time before someone has time to help you, also be ready for an unpleasant experience at the cashier while paying, that could be improved significantly, they are not very well organized. There is a small section for coffee and a bar table if you want to have a fresh croissant with a cup of coffee , definitely a must try as they are really good

The best bread in Dakar are from there, the best Pain de chasse that you'll eat dry and love, pain de mie, pain brioche...cakes....👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 Go early because some items are cleared off faster, by 11 am some may be gone for the day.

This place is so popular. We kept driving by it and there was a line out of the door. Decided to stop in one day to see what the line was about and was pleasantly surprised to find a very French styled bakery. The pastry selection was abundant and had good takeaway options. I enjoyed a simple croissant with a coffee that was pretty decent. Only thing — the staff was so eager to clear the line that they were unpleasant.

Great bread, pastries, cake—knocked off one star because customer service is hit or miss

Cakes are pretty good. The personnel... It depends on days and times. The annoying part is having to queue to get in and then place your order. They definetely need to find a better system

This patisserie is always ready to present delicious cakes, cookies, and breads. In December la Graine d'or dons Christmas decorations.

Simply the best bakery and chocolate delicacies in the area! If you're looking for an awesome selection of sweets at reasonable prices, you should definitely visit this place. Try the creme brulee, it's incredible!

😠 I came in, ordered a coffee and a brioche. I'm not Senegalese; I'm a foreign visitor, and last I retrieved money from the bank, I could only get round numbers, no change. I didn't have 1,100 CFAs, only 1,500, so when I ordered, they told me they would have to send someone to get change. This was fin...
