Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters

Cafe Coffee store

🫤 Very Disappointing:: No non-dairy milk options, no decaf espresso, no WiFi... yeah it's that sad. Like REALLY? I'm sure there's some "justifications" for all that, but these things are pretty standard at every other coffee shop. Won't be going back. Why do people fall for "trendy", but just medioc... People often mention coffee, milk,

Overall okay. Great pastry selection. We were there on a Saturday morning and it was not busy. Just a note, if you require milk alternatives, they do not offer those here. Just whole milk. I'm lactose intolerant and cannot have that. I was able to get a pour over and an avocado toast though. They also do not offer to-go containers that are paper or plastic. So keep that in mind. The milk selection was a let down for me as someone that requires an alternative for health reasons.

I'm sure there's some "justifications" for all that, but these things are pretty standard at every other coffee shop. Won't be going back. Why do people fall for "trendy", but just mediocre places. Oh well, I'll take my coffee money and friends elsewhere.

Definitely a 4.6. I am so glad I did not let a few bad reviews from disgruntled customers stop me from stopping in. If you are looking for a work place to take up space working on your computer and drink coffee this is not the place. To me it seemed more of a European coffee shop where people gather and actually speak to one another. The workers seemed very friendly and the customers all seemed to be enjoying themselves. You need to definitely need to give this place a try. Plan on sitting for a few minutes and enjoy your coffee as it is not a real grab and go style place. My only complaint was the espresso was a little sour.

If you require milk alternatives to drink your coffee… then drink espresso shots or americanos. If you go to Europe, there’s no such thing. Sorry, but it had to be said. An establishment isn’t required to have milk alternatives… I use their Velvet roast which is awesome with WHOLE, frothy milk.

We order OCR from West Texas and love the quality and taste of every single bag of coffee beans we get from them. Customer service over the phone is excellent. Pour over or espresso, this is a great place to support a local company and get really fresh coffee. Give them a try. Oh, and for you DFW locals, give the tech a rest and enjoy your time there. If them making the choice not to carry dairy alternatives bothers you, then find a place that does.

The atmosphere just seemed off to me. I asked for a large water (over 100 out) and it was an awkward exchange. I was willing to pay whatever since there was no other restaurant around that was actually open. He was super nice and gave me a glass jar (no straw). I’m not from the area so I just thought this area wasn’t for me. I understand sustainability but do you really not give to go cups even for coffee? 🤔 it was all strange to me. 🤷‍♀️ Good luck!

Maybe the only ‘long black’ I’ve had in the USA but hands down the best coffee you bunch it in with all the Americanos. Iced renditions are also refreshingly good. The practicality of the glassware policy is questionable but I appreciate the efforts that must be involved. Would recommend.

Decent coffee but EXTREMELY overpriced. They charge $2 to add syrup which is ridiculous, and add another $2 for a to-go cup (they only offer reusable jars). So a $6 latte with honey to-go ends up being $10...
