Sunday afternoon@ Bar Louie was a first & last experience. The drinks were good & the food was decent but the wait staff was so unprofessional!! After biting his nails we saw a waiter take a straw & sample a customers drink before it was taken to their table which was totally DISGUSTING & UNACCEPTABLE. Another server was eating fruit from the bar. Others were talking loud & exchanging profanities...The entire wait staff needs retraining. Never again.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! Went here after leaving the movies to grab a late night drink. We sat down and began to look at the menu on our phones. We noticed that about 20 minutes had passed and no one asked to take our order or grab drinks. We tried to flag down a server to order drinks and the server ignored us. Our friend had to go up and ask about how to put an order in, we were told that a server would come to us. The server never came to our table. A huge group walked in after us and I’m not sure if the server knew this group but they seemed liked they knew each other. The server immediately grabbed them menus and started taking their drink orders at the table next to us. At that point we decided to leave because it wasn’t worth spending our money at a place with such a rude staff. I would understand if we came in 30 minutes to closing but the bar doesn’t close till 2am and there were still 4 hours of operation left. The bar was not busy at all, there were plenty of empty tables. I know understand why there were so many empty tables….

Took my daughter to lunch while shopping. This "bar" had lunch specials sign out front between clothing stores and shoes. We decided to give it a try. Rocky start with a glass with someone else's lipstick on the rim, but our server was really nice about it. We went for appetizers with cheese curds and calamari. Excellent choices if I do say so myself. I opted for french onion soup as my main, and LA chose the chicken with avocado wrap and tots. Tots were temperature challenged, but the wrap was delish. Soup was hot and stringy cheesey, which I loved. Our server, Zach, navigated the dirty glass AND the cold tots with aplomb. He smiled throughout both compliments and complaints. We so appreciated his great attitude and energy. He earned the place its fourth star.

2 stars for decent service from the wait staff at the bar. But it took nearly an hour to get fried pickles. Haven’t even gotten the fries yet that I ordered with it. I’d visit only if they hire more chefs, because the wait time was too much for such simple food. maybe try another location. I’ve gone to Bar Louie in different location and haven’t had this issue before.

Really nice restaurant with a friendly staff. Don't expect a drink in the first 15 minutes you are there lol. Or another drink if it hasn't been 20 minutes. It just seems like management should organize things a bit better. This place is a chain and I guess I shouldn't be expecting much. We didn't eat dinner because our appetizer (the trio, which is guacamole, salsa and caso). Wasn't very good and if you mess that up it's a bad sign. The caso was made of powder that wasn't melted and mixed properly, and the guacamole tasted like it came from a bag. Would be willing to try again but it just was miss after miss. Great location and good vibe with the music and staff.

The service tonight was horrifying. We came in and no one greeted us. We asked a few servers who closed by and we were told to seat ourselves. The tables were dirty. We had to asked someone to clean one of the tables for us. The restaurant was not busy at all. Servers were standing around chit-chatting. We had asked for a server to come and take our order. We asked for lemon for our waters twice. By the third time, I just went to the bar and asked for it myself. When the food arrived, there were no silverware, no napkins. Our hamburger buns were cold. The server had completely disappeared. I had to kept going to the bar to grab some napkins and ask for silverware and limes for our tequila shots and everything else for ou meals. When the server did come back to the table, we let her know that we had to go to the bar to ask for everything that we needed for our meals. Then, she got a really bad attitude towards us. Right then, we knew we will never come back to this location. That's just too bad because we really enjoyed coming here. The last time we were here, this restaurant was packed. I was quite surprised that the restaurant was not busy at all being that it was on a Saturday night and it was Veterans Day. It was a super packed last year on Veterans day. And as busy as they were last year, the service was top notch. This location is no longer as good or busy as it once was. It's time to find other restaurants/bars to spend our money.

Genuinely the most disappointing service I've received in Dallas. One person taking orders for the entire restaurant while the rest of the servers blindly wonder. The atmosphere of the place is a hollow shell with a complete absence of any quality hospitality to merit the cost of the food. Rather than trying to be understanding and waiting to finally have my order taken I should have just left. I will never go back.

Have been here a few times now. The food is decent but are drinks are always great! Staff isn’t terribly slow but surely in no hurry. Will still return due to their positive attitudes and the drinks. Pictured is the Patty melt and the salmon sliders.

This would have been a 5star based off my first experience with Annie the bartender SHE WAS AWESOME!!!! The drink she made was so good I had to come back. My second experience was as great based off the inattentiveness of this other young lady, the drink was still good but everyone loves a bartender with personality and that is attentive. I’ll be back. Food is nice.

Sandwiches are big and tasty. French fries and tots were fresh and ranch looks was refreshing. Looks like most people come here for drinks but we stuck with water. We got chicken parm and babalouie and a veggie flat bread

Dustin is great! Courtney is awesome! Transparency - I love being able to see the scrumptious food Bar Louie offers. It just makes my mouth water to see it come from the kitchen to my table. Clean & delicious. 😋

Ordered two bar Louie’s with no onions or tomatoes. They didn’t put any sauce. I also ordered a ceasar salad that had no cheese , no croutons only lettuce and sauce . Their salad was really salty . The burger wasn’t terrible but not worth it .

Me and my partner came in today for a couple of drinks and the staff were great. I don’t usually leave a review but this place made a wow factor. They made us feel very comfortable like it was a neighborhood bar where everyone knows who you are. Our main bartender was Abel but everyone to the bar back were always asking if we were fine. Definitely going to come back with friends as a hangout spot. Try The Star drink, yummy 😋

We were in the area shopping & decided to check this place out. Tried some appetizers- calamari, boneless Buffalo chicken bites, & pretzel bites. All food was so food. Large area with plenty of seating. Bathrooms were clean. I believe server was AronMichael & he was attentive.

I finally got to experience Bar Louie for a meeting and Christmas gathering. Our server, Xavieon, was top-notch, handling a party of nearly twenty guests! The food was delicious and my strawberry margarita was on point! A few appetizers I had were wings, fried pickles, and veggie flatbread (so good, I got one to-go). The Voodoo Pasta was my main thang! 😋 This location has a covered patio with large-screen TVs, ample seating and heat (because, Texas...in December). Since it's 3rd floor, you can see the mall activity - busy for the holidays, of course. Consider reserving this area for a comfy-cool-casual vibe, but be aware that smoking is allowed outside. There was an issue that day with the restroom, but public restrooms are one floor down, easily accessible by elevator, escalator or stairs. Looking forward to future visits!

Truly the worst service and management. Still waiting on even a glass of water after being inside at the bar & table for 25 mins. Had to literally call the restaurant while in the restaurant to get service. The manager HORRIBLE. Oh and she hung up the phone while speaking to her and asking for a simple thing called service. We came in and no one greeted us. Didn’t know where to go, where to sit. We finally were able to track down some servers who were in a corner huddle speaking to one another like three of them. They said just sit anywhere. We did but clearly by the “lovely” manager hanging up on us we were not sitting in the right place. Avoid this location until they get better management.

Honest review. Erica is amazing!!! She provided a great service. There was another American African guy, he was great as well, he checked on me a lot in a very polite way. Julian not so much. You need to train him on service

Pretty cool bar and restaurant, although they seemed short handed which made the service a bit slow. We sat at the bar for an early bite, but once the bar got crowded it was more difficult to get the bartenders attention. We did see people come in and leave when no one came to their table. The margherita I got was very good, and large selection of beers. We started with the appetizer of chips with salsa, guacamole and queso, it was really good. Then we just split the margherita flatbread and we were surprised at how tasty it was! We also got a side of their macaroni, it was good but looked like a bowl of soup, was hard to eat with a fork. Overall, cool place.
