I hadn't been here since "pre-pandemic" and oh, how it's changed. The space is now shared with two other food purveyors: Sushi and Wings. I immediately thought mall food court. Getting my meal actually realize it's actually way worse than that. The portions are EXTREMELY small, especially given the price point. 2 meat combo with two sides, a piece of bread and a beer: $23.00 plus tip. That's ok, because the food was honestly HORRIBLE. This place is just a bad shell of what it once was. Too many better options out there, especially at that price. I won't step foot in there again, but hope to warn others of what to expect. I should have took the warning sign of a completely empty place at noon on Sunday.

I can see why this place had no one inside during lunchtime! The staff was extremely slow, order took too long and I did not get everything that was ordered. The borracho beans tasted nasty, and under cooked! The cheddar potatoes tasted like American cheese and had liquid nacho cheese. Brisket had no flavor but was moist. No available BBQ sauce. This is not the place to go to eat Texas BBQ, well not a place I would return to eat!

First time here. The service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was pleasant with plenty of room. I had a loaded baked potato with beef brisket. It was delicious! The brisket melted in your mouth. The misses had fried catfish which was perfect. Great pickles! Great iced tea! The cole slaw was sweet and absolutely delish. Only disappointment was the potato could have been a larger for the price. We will definitely visit again.

The meat was pretty decent. I didn't order the ribs but those that were in my party swore by them. The meat is good but could use some more spice. The portions are on the smaller side so make sure to order accordingly. The sides were weak. Check out the cheese on this mac

We happened across Babbs while visiting Dallas for the weekend. The food was great, we were able to get in at about 4 o clock before dinner rush. It was literally empty except for us so we were treated really well. We were able to get the Mac cheese which was amazing. I'm leaving it as only 4 stars because I was expecting alot more for Texas BBQ and to be honest it didn't seem much better than our local places. The BBQ sauce was also not amazing.

I love this area in Trinity grooves especially with the added tables in the middle and the music. I had the brisket and turkey and it was seasoned well. I wish they had additional flavors of bbq sauce to try because the one available wasn’t good. My friend had the ribs and loved them. The Mac and cheese was bland. The food was also pretty pricey. I enjoyed the brisket and the greens had meat added to them, so I didn’t eat them in case they had pork. I would eat here again but maybe just a brisket sandwich.

Went for the first time with a buddy for lunch. Food was simple but good they were out of a lot of dishes. So choices were limited. Staff is very friendly and nice. Good service, food came out fast and hot. I will give them another try.

Not a great BBQ experience. The meat was tepid and sauce was served from a pump dispenser (and was ice cold) which made things worse. On the plus side, the decorations on the wall were fun to look at and the staff were friendly.

Great barbecue at an amazing price. All day happy hour and some interesting drinks designed in house. This place is located in a great area where you can get in a solid walk after the meal

Our regular go-to BBQ place is closed on Sunday, so we tried Babb Brothers, and we all had an EXCEPTIONAL experience - the BBQ was great - moist enough but not sloppy, very flavorful without being "pumped up" with all kinds of over the top rubs and\or spices like some places use, and the fries, too, were really good - nice and crispy on the outside - and this was right at opening on Sunday, when some places are still waking up and getting rolling - their kitchen was putting out the good stuff right away. The staff was smiling and friendly, and the restaurant was clean. My friend had wings and the wings, too, were really good. My two friends and think we may have found a new favorite BBQ place.

I wish I had photos to share. A group of us went, and I had the brisket tacos - which were outstanding. Five star-worthy dinner. But I'd give it even more than five stars if I could, because the GM, Jay (I think), helped us out by getting us one more peach cobbler after closing time (we made a mistake when ordering and wound up one short). Above and beyond - most places don't treat their customers this well anymore!

An attentive staff and cleanliness will always either make or break a restaurant. At Babb Brothers the whole team has the right idea, taking care of the customer while providing a great flavored meal. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was not a line and the atmosphere was calm. To further elevate my visit I was truly impressed with the staff's helpfulness in every aspect. I'm not sure what title he carried but, Arturo, took a quick second to speak with me and made sure I was a satisfied customer. The only regret I have was not having time to play jumbo checkers. I will most definitely be inviting my parties here from now on.

I ordered the turkey w/okra & cheesy potatoes. It’s an clean establishment and full bar available. There was a live band. Several birthday parties were celebrated the evening I was there. The band gave birthday wishes. It was a pleasant experience. I’ll visit again.
