The food and drinks are amazing here. The service is great as well, very knowledgeable about their menu and great recommendations! The atmosphere is very classy, however while I was here I did see some people dress casual as well! My main entree was the BEST Beef Wellington I have ever had! I had the lobster Mac and cheese as a side(which is shareable) Will definitely be back here!

Dakota’s Steakhouse is a MUST go!! This was the best meal I enjoyed eating out ALL YEAR. We didn’t know what to expect but we were absolutely blown away. When you first walk up there’s an elevator that takes you below street level to the Steakhouse. Ambiance was stellar inside and out. You can actually see the patio walking down Ross Ave. a nice waterfall leads down to it! Miguel was our waiter, stellar service we’ll be back to see him for sure! We didn’t make it to desert (which I picked this place for the desserts) but since we were celebrating a birthday, they brought us a complimentary one. We really appreciated it but was too full to enjoy it! My only complaint was how close the tables were. I could hear all the conversations around me but not the person directly in front of me as much. Granted our reservation was for Dec. 30th, a busy time for everyone! We originally had a reservation for Nick and Sams but we’re very well pleased with our final choice 😊😊

Went here for a date night. First off, you need to make a reservation. It's a pretty cool place in downtown Dallas. Great atmosphere. Cool waterfall on the patio. We sat inside but would definitely sit outside if the weather is nice. We has the oyster Rockefeller, beef wellington (was so tender definitely recommend). The mashed potatoes were okay, I'd try something else. Didn't take away from my review though as they weren't bad.. but not memorable. Needless to say the service was top notch and we will be back.

Unique underground experience. Wasn't a big fan of the dim lighting. We could barely see our food. I had to use a flash light to check the cook temp on my wellington. Server was nice. For app.. we had bone marrow and oyster Rockefeller. But we're wayyy too salty did not enjoy it at all. The Wellington was the best I've had. And creme brulee for dessert as also very good.

The food, the atmosphere - superb. I went with a group of friends for New Year’s Eve and the service was amazing. The waiter wore a mask the entire mask. I had the lamb chops and they were divine. The seasoning was amazing. I can’t wait to come back. It was a pleasant surprise that when we walked out we were able to see the fire works downtown. I highly recommend this place for dinner, lunch or anything else.

We chose Dakota's Steakhouse for our 15 year anniversary dinner. It was incredible! They had rose pedals on the table with a card that said Happy Anniversary (see photos). Out server was Christiana she was very polite and professional. She also asked us what year we were celebrating and wished us happy anniversary. For our meal we had the crab cake lollipops as our appetizer. For our entrees my wife had the Beef Wellington with a loaded baked potato and the crispy brussel sprouts. I had the Seafood Bouillabaisse with the mac and cheese. For desert my wife had the creme brulee and I had the chocolate mousse cake. All of the food was literally perfect! My wife enjoyed the table side presentation of the beef Wellington. We would highly recommend Dakota's Steakhouse for any occasion.

This place is so delicious! The oysters and crab cake appetizers are outstanding, and the clam chowder is delicious too! The tiramisu cheesecake is divine and one of the best things I have ever tasted! We sat at the bar and had a blast watching the team make drinks and buzz around while listening to a man play the piano. Will definitely visit again!

Just came back from celebrating my anniversary at Dakota’s Dallas and all I can say is WOW! Gideon was our server and he was absolutely phenomenal. Even while handling a few tables with large parties, he always made sure we were taken are of in every possible way. The food and the atmosphere was perfect. I’ve been to my share of steakhouses and this was by far the best cooked steak I’ve eaten. I didn’t want our experience to end but we will be definitely be back in the near future - my August birthday is quickly approaching!

Very unique underground steak house. The service was excellent. The setting is formal and everything was pristine. The waterfall was relaxing. The libations were creative and tasty. The steak was excellent and I love how they watched me cut it and verified it was to my liking. This is one of my favorite steak houses in Dallas!

Celebrated our anniversary here this evening and the food was amazing! The Beef wellington was cooked to perfection! The sides were fantastic! We had the lobster mac and cheese, the potatoes, asparagus, and Brussel sprouts! The only thing better than the food was the service. Everyone from the Valet to the hostess, servers, and managment were truly impeccable. It was impressive. We will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful location, out waiter was amazing, hr was knowledgeable and attentive he also went above and beyond. He told us his family was from Ethiopia, so if he sees this kudos to you, kind sir. I had the chicken Picatta only thing I didn't care for was that I only had 2 capers. I love them so I searched for them in the dish. Other than that no complaints.

My partner I decided to go to Dakota's last second and we loved every minute of it. You take a lovely elevator trip down with views of thier cascading waterfall feature. Absolutely beautiful. The staff greet greet you and open the door. Luckily enough they had room to accommodate us without a reservation. They put us in a nice private corner. The ambiance of Dakota's is top tier! Great for meetings, but even lovely for a romantic dinner with a partner, as my partner and I experienced. The server was amazing. His name slipped my memory, and I am so sorry, but he was wonderful. Expertly guided through the food and recommendations. We have a plethroa of appetizers, all of which were absolutely delicious. For dinner my partner had the filet mignon with the Dakota house sauce. I had the Australian wagyu (recommended by our waiter) with the Berlaise sauce. Mind-blowing! We did not get to try to dessert menu becuase we were absolutely stuffed with our meals. We will definitely be back we will get to that dessert menu next time!

It was ok considering the price. I wouldn’t think of it as one of the best or the most amazing restaurants in Dallas. Theres definitely a lot better places for a fraction of the price. The food was mediocre, nothing stood out. Atmosphere is pretty low because the outside to inside everything looks super aged.

This restaurant was amazing! The service was excellent, they touch your table frequently and make sure your visit is enjoyable. We had Thanksgiving dinner here, they had a preset menu and the choices were excellent.

Food was great. Very nice location and great for outdoor pictures. The Filet mignon was delicious. Crab cakes were 10/10. Mac and cheese was 10/10 ! Our waiter was truly amazing and knew exactly what to recommend. Only down side it’s very loud in there and seating is really close to other tables.

Celebrated my daughter’s fifteen birthday here. It was sooooo good, so much that I forgot to take some pictures. Like the tater tote was very good we had to order another round for everyone. The waiters and staff were very nice and the ambiance was beautiful! Will go again!

The absolute best steakhouse. I've eaten at some phenomenal steakhouses in Dallas. Dakota's definitely met all standards... ambiance (check), food (check), music (check), service (check). This is the perfect place to have a celebration or wonderful date night! You will not be disappointed.

I took the boyfriend here for his birthday and we both loved everything from the experience to the service and of course the food! Surprisingly, it was both our 1st time there so we were excited to experience it together. We had the Porter House Steak medium rare with Brussels and Mac n Cheese. It was all delish. I would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion!

Wow. This place was top notch for classic fine dining. I don’t know if it’s ever worth spending 1200$ for a dinner for 5 friends but hey. Do it once in your life. The steaks are proper…

Really cool experience from start to finish! Amazing food, with DELICIOUS STEAK, and tater tots! Seems silly to order tots anywhere but once you try one you’ll be ordering more. 10/10 for the entire dinner here.

My wife and I visited a couple weeks ago foe her birthday and it was nothing short of amazing! The staff was very helpful in assisting us to decide what to order. They were very accommodating. The manager made sure to come out and wish my wife a happy birthday as well. The steaks and appetizers were delicious! The atmosphere was beautiful with all the decor and the waterfall in the back. I highly recommend that anyone try to visit this restaurant

The soft piano music, waterfall view, and table specific lighting created a peaceful ambiance. Dakota’s steakhouse provided me with one of the juiciest steaks I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating and made my first tasting of scallops a lovely experience. My servers name was Abby and she was an absolute sweetheart. I loved my visit and would definitely recommend a visit.

The beef wellington was simply amazing. The crab cake lollipops are a must try as an appetizer. The calamari was lackluster and had an off fry batter, my server took them back and manager came by and advised he had the chef adjust the recipe for the batter. The old fashion is a solid drink choice as well.
