The breathtakingly beautiful bronze sculpture cattle run is really amazing. This place does not take much time to visit. With just a short stop, at no cost and easy parking, you can enjoy the majesty of the sculptures with a great detailed exhibit. Make sure you go up close to have a good look. Such a lovely body of work definitely gives you the feeling that you are in Texas. Also is very close from the 6th Floor Museum, make sure you walk via the JFK Memorial Plaza on the way!

About two blocks away from the Dallas City Hall you encounter this beautiful park. The longhorn and cowboys statues allow the visitor to have a perspective of how the north Texas pastures were used back in the days. A must see if you are visiting the downtown area, very nice pictures can be taken. There's an old cemetery just next to it which is worth seeing as well

Found this completely by accident. Parking is free, so we stopped to take pictures and explore a bit. Awesome spot for taking fun Texas pictures. It also located next to an old cemetery with founders of the area. Definitely worth a visit.

This is one of biggest public parks in Dallas. I’ve visited this park twice. Once, when I auditioned for X-Factor USA, as it’s very close to the convention center and just recently when visiting my uncle who lives in Heath. This is a very fascinating place. The sculptures celebrate and honor 19th century cattle drives that took place along the Shawnee Trail. The history behind the inspiration of this park dates all of the way back to the 1860’s I do believe. Not only are they the largest of their kind, but the biggest bronze monuments on earth. Many people sued in the early-to-mid 90’s to have them removed, but today they stand as one of the best landmarks in the lone star state. There are about 50 bronze steers total and about 3-4 trail riders accompanied by a beautiful waterfall, green grass, and the central business district of Dallas.

Had a great time here with friends and family while visiting Dallas. Great place to let the kids, ours are middle school aged, to get some energy out while outside in the fresh air. The park has seen better days, could be a little better maintained, but it was clean and by no means in bad shape. Overall a very beautiful park. Alot of people there but by no means crowded because it is big, I'd say almost 10 acres. It really captured what it could be like herding and guiding long horn cattle. Iconic depiction of old Texas. Worth a visit.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the public park with Texan plant life and large bronze sculptures of three cowboys driving longhorn cattle, and I must say it was a remarkable experience. This park seamlessly blends the natural beauty of Texas with its rich cowboy heritage, creating a unique and captivating environment. Moreover, the park is well-maintained and clean, providing a welcoming atmosphere for visitors of all ages. It's a great place for a leisurely walk, a family picnic, or simply to sit and appreciate the beauty of this art.

Amazing cattle sculptures in the heart of Dallas! One hour free parking enough to get out, view and photo opportunities- these sculptures are massive and interesting to see the fine detail that went into this herd.

It's a beautiful park located next to an old cemetery. Decorated with a huge Sculpture Installation Art. Cowboys and longhorns 3D bronze sculptures look amazing and give you plenty of ideas to pose for your best photograph. A must-visit place if you're coming to Dallas. People come with their families friends and dogs. Just don't forget to clean up after your pooch finishes their business. Parking is free up to an hour.

Good place for a downtown tour in Dallas. Parking available next to the pioneer plaza with accessibility parking. But don't park onto the oncoming traffic or blocking the road. Parking signs are kept for guidance. Bulls look so real but are enjoyable by daylight ,the place gets dark by night.Kids will love this place. All downtown landmarks are located close by as well and plan for a daytrip. Have a nice trip while in dallas

Good place for capturing a monument in Dallas city. It is not a picnic area. It is also not a dog friendly.

All those bronze sculptures of running cattle are amazing. It gives you a feeling of how those cattlemen used to graze cattles. Two sculptures of cattlemen on horses are vivid to watch.

The day I was there, parking was a snap. The weather was perfect and the shade trees were awesome. What a wonderful hour or two I had relaxing, walking around and exploring the park and surrounding area. This is History, the good, the bad and the wonderful.

Pioneer Plaza is a very beautiful park, the statues of the Longhorns are very impressive. The park is beautifully designed, there is a large green area with numerous photo spots, but unfortunately some visitors climbed up the statues, hit them and kicked them. I was very upset about this as it disfigures and breaks the beautiful statues. If more care was taken, they could be preserved for longer. I hope that more attention will be paid to this in future. It was also very crowded. Although the place is very beautiful, it's still not a must-see when you're in the area.

Clean area and easy to take pictures. Not much else to do here and security is a little, for lack of a better term harrassing. They kept circling groups of people for no reason. Otherwise it was a nice experience.

Cool spot to relax in and see some local history. Nice flowing stream and 2 parking lots as well as street parking.

Very very early morning but determined not to leave before seeing the steer statues so they were seen and photographed almost before dawn. Didn't think it wise to walk to them being alone in the dark but was sorely tempted. If I ever return, I will see them during the day. A few parking spaces are available. Missed the cemetery, too, except for a glance in the dark.

Don’t skip visiting Pioneer Park if visiting Dallas. It’s pretty neat. The steers are so big and detailed. My favorite part is how the line of them cross the stream. Be careful, the rocks can be slippery. Also continue on the the East to see Pioneer Park Cemetery.

It's a great park just west of Dallas City Hall. Iconic sculptures of a Vacaro as he leads 20 head of cattle to ford a small creek that runs through the park. Lots of shade trees and wildlife such as ducks and squirrels to watch. Parking is limited though, and not much free parking available.

Good park for bringing kids and show them bulls sculpture which looks damn real. It has small ponds with ducks too. Good for taking pictures and also has good view of downtown. Free parking is available on the spot and there is stroller and wheelchair access too.

The historic Pioneer Plaza is one of the main tourist attractions in Dallas. The Plaza pays tribute to Dallas’ beginnings by celebrating the trails that brought settlers to Dallas. There is a recreation of a bronze cattle drive featuring three cowboys on horses and a herd of 40 Texas Longhorns sheer. This larger-than-life-size sculpture was created by artist Robert Summers of Glen Rose. The native plants, waterfall, flowing stream, adjacent lawn, and man-made cliffs add to its historical charm. We spent 1-2 hours roaming around and hiking to the cliff. A great place to be with your family and children. It is a must-visit for history lovers.

The time I went it looks like they are doing renovations in the place but overall it's a good place to stop and watch the bronze cows and downtown areas, also there's a cemetery next to this place I'm not sure if it's part of it or it's something historical, weekends are better to visit this area, keep in mind weeks days in downtown are a nightmare (a lot of traffic)

Very nice art work i am still trying to find out the back story to it because you cant really read the stones with the information on it but i have an idea of what its about but want to know more about it..

Small park with a few fountains and quite a big display of brass statues. Nice for a 10 min walk and a few selfies. Be sure to touch your favourite parts of the bull, then brass becomes shiny like gold after a few years. :) Free of charge but only about 10 cars fit on a free parking lot.

Very interesting and fun place. You could imagine the past. Not fully clean. It feel that the city could better maintain it. Overall I would go there.
