One of the better lounges since the upgrade, like the fittings with a mixture of a mini food court and cafe styling. Staff are really friendly and happy to assist where they can. Always clean and spacious (as are the bathrooms) with lots of different seating. Using the app to order coffee is always a pleasure. Free and fast wifi with a range of drinks and food. Food quantity always seems to be limited and often don't find cutlery.

Most definitely one of the nicest airport lounges I have been to. Right when we entered and staff noticed that we were not on a NZ flight, they very respectfully reminded us that there won’t be announcements for boarding time, etc. Since there were still very very few people when we went, a member of the staff was going around chatting with people. This actually made for a very good experience and interaction with the airline, even getting a chance to know some fun facts anout Air New Zealand. The food was amazing, and the Chicken Marbella served on that day was perhaps the best food we’ve had while on our trip in Australia. Depending on the time of day, the kind of food that’s available changes. There’s apparently a more colorful buffet during the daytime. We went on a late night for an SQ flight to Singapore, and there were no more NZ flights but the lounge was still open for Star Alliance Gold members. You might eventually want to just skip the Krisflyer lounge and go here, for the vastly more abundant seating space, no waiting time for the shower rooms, great selection of alcohol, friendly staff and bright ambience to the lounge.

Quite a decent, fresh and spacious, recently renovated Air New Zealand international lounge. First challenge is to find it and get there. It’s located 2 floors underground from the departure hall and unless you take elevator you have to go through the maze of corridors and escalators to get there. Just follow the signs, it’s well marked. Interiors are well designated with plenty of space to relax or work and even find some quiet privacy if needed. Highlight as always is the barista made coffee which is delicious with many options of alternative milk and either have here or to go! Nothing better than flat white to wake you up! Sadly food selection is average, some buffet and pastries but not much vegetarian or vegan options to chose from. Great WiFi ! Clean bathrooms. Perfect for relax before the flight.

Freshly renovated lounge. Very good space and has “indirect” access to the gates. Same theme as other Air New Zealand lounges. Food and drinks are standard for Air NZ lounge. Gender neutral bathrooms (with shower facilities).

Freshly renovated, the lounge has a great view on the tarmac but no direct access to the gates. Large space and minimalist design that makes is a nice place to standby. The food and beverage selection is limited but great quality. Only 4 salty dishes sélection and limited food choices at 9 am. Very friend front desk staff, and boardings are annouced in advance.

As what I would expect of the lounge. Clean, modern and tidy. Plenty of space, nooks and cubby’s. Good variety of food, and swift changing of breakfast to brunch/lunch. The barista on could have done with better manners. Toilets were exceptional which is always a good sign of the general facilities.

Great lounge for United customers! Lots of good and drink, comfy places to sit and a view of the tarmac.

Friendly staff and nice, expansive and modern lounge. Comfortable seats with plenty of connections to charge devices. Great view of the tarmac for plane buffs like me. Food is nice but as other reviewers have noted, is limited in range. I found the TVs being on all the time a bit annoying but the areas where there weren't TVs were taken.

Dropped in for a short visit due to opening hours (oddly starts 5.40am). Very spacious with working stations available. Barista-made coffee was excellent (I rate it better than Silverkris lounge).

Good coffee. It was very quiet when I went there around 10am. Not much hot food options, I think it is because morning tea time.

It's an ok lounge, would expect better for business class passengers. Generic buffet and drinks..

Air New Zealand Koru Club is a pretty solid lounge and the better of the two Star Alliance lounge options in Melbourne. (The other one is Singapore Airlines, and unfortunately, it's downright pathetic) Brekky was pretty basic but it did the job filling you up before a trans Tasman flight.

What a surprise. From the moment of entry until we left we were welcomed by warm and friendly staff. Good selection of food and barista made coffee. We were on a SQ flight but decided to go to Air NZ lounge instead of the crowded SQ lounge after watching a Youtube vlog. Great decision as the lounge was quiet. Thanks to the Air NZ team.

Another great lounge by Air NZ however missing a star for poor barista hours and serviced bar. Was closed by 330pm ( could have been earlier ) if I wanted lame cafe opening hours I would have stayed in New Zealand. 😜

Currently enjoying superb cuisine in the lounge. Food so much more superior to Air NZ lounge in Auckland. Thank you Sharine and Kumar; great service.

Nice airline lounge with some simple design elements, makes it relaxing and not feeling stressful. One main food service area, drink platforms about 2, also a barrister stand for making coffees. Toilets are nice and clean, there's a shower place as well. Overall good experience, not the luxury type of lounge but good enough.

BY FAR, one of the best airline/airport lounges I've been too. This lounge is huge, with tons of privacy. There's multiple bar/drink locations along with a main food location. The showers are very nice and there's plenty of shower rooms.

26May19 0817 It's been a few years since I was last in this Air NZ lounge. It's still located on the ground level inside the Melbourne International Airport Terminal. So it is quite a hike down two levels via escalators. But it is worth it. Spacious, good variety of seating and tables plus good toilets. Typical warm Air NZ hospitality at the entrance door and also at the coffee bar. Ordering coffee using the Air NZ app is very no-brainer. Good food, drinks with alcohol age 18 restriction clearly posted, breakfast cereals and refreshments. Also, excellent view of jets through the ground floor windows which look out onto the aircraft bays.

I had a decent stay here originally it was very nice The food is bad poor options They have good wine selection However I walked out the loungue. The lady at the front desk clearly saw me walk out when I walked back in she was extremely rude to me. I felt I was being discriminated against after I told her I was just here she had an aggressive tone basically calling me a liar demanding where I was sitting This lady was at the front desk shift 2/22/2023 around 11:30. I immediately left because I felt disrespected. And then preferred to go to Singapore airline loungue as I know they will not racially Profile you It was almost like she didn’t believe someone like me can afford business loungue Awful experience embarrassing me

Excellent lounge. Definitely open, at least when there are star alliance flights. Nice buffet, bright ambience, showers, lots of power points, very helpful staff.

😐 Food tastes great 👍 they sure love their spices and I like the kick of it. Fish and pork tacos were great but chorizo taco wasn't good because of the rubbery texture skin. It was unpleasant to eat. Corn chips were a bit stale and guacamole was bland. Service was okay. We gave the feedback to a sta...
