Worst hospital I ever been to. I took my dad to this hospital for an emergency. Emergency room experience was good. Doctors and nurses were really good and professional. But when I was waiting outside in the lobby, there was blood spilled on the floor and it was there for almost an hour. I don't expect this from such a big organization where a fresh flood was spilled and it was cleaned after I asked someone to clean it. My dad got shifted to Day Care room and the cleanliness and condition of the equipment was terrible, the trolley my dad was using to eat food was rusted and couldn’t even move because the wheels were jammed. The table which was next to my dad’s bed had blood marks which again shows the poor cleanliness of this hospital. Next day, I went to the hospital to get the discharge, and it took almost 5 hrs to get it. Which I feel is such a waste of time and this shows how poor the management is. They also have a board which tells you how much time it will take to get discharged depending on if it's cash or insurance, which I understand because the insurance company needs to approve the bill amount. But my insurance company gave the approval within an hour. And the extra 4 hrs I spent there was because they don't have enough manpower to handle the billing section. Finally, When I was going thro the final bill, I found FAKE charges of around Rs. 3000 were added in the bill. Which was shocking for me. When asked the billing person about these charges, he called the concerned department and confirmed that those were unwanted charges added to the bill. I feel this hospital is SCAMMING people with all those fake charges and looting their patients. Again, I would like to say the Doctors and nurses staff was really good, helpful, professional and kind. But the management, cleanliness is a big concern for me.

The multispeciality hospital has all facilities, starting from regular health checkup to super critical illness treatment. I have been regularly visiting the hospital for my child health. The Dr are really good. The health checkup also it goes smooth here. However I feel sometimes they misplace the appointment and prior booking slots, which keeps you waiting for longer. Cleanliness is good. The canteen is also not disappointing. A major concern is the reporting section, where you struggle to get the reports on time. I have been waiting for the report more than 30 hours of the test, that to after doing a repeat test because of failure in first attempt.

Worst experience with Dr.Laxmi Padmanabhan while doing Anomaly scan. She behaves soo rudely with pregnant women . and soo arrogantly speeking . we never face this kind of behaviuor in normal hospital also but here this is corporate hospital this woman is behaving like this, its strange. in future if she still there in the hospital i recommend my friends never ever take scanning with this Dr.Laxmi Padmanabhan

The insurance company has given full payment of my hospital bill but I have to pay an additional bill of 6900 rupees. That amount adjusted bill fully paid through insurance. Very bad behaviour account and bill department employee mainly IPD 2nd floor. It's Manipal Hospital. Today I have realised that is Money making hospital. Really shocked. I suggest to all people atleast deny this hospital because all time bill amount excead which give estimate from hospital. Room cleaning good. House keeping Sibham maa work is outstanding. Nurse and doctor are very good behaviour with me. Good fooding for patients. Specific Ditesian maintain food chart for IPD patients.

Staff is not good, they are very rude. I was admitted 5 days on this hospital. They charged 1lakh+ and money is second thing but they treat like very rude specially nurses. Most of the time insurance person tell a lie. In night time no one nurse was there. speak loudly on the patient And so many thing I face.

One of the worst experience I ever seen Today 14 th December early morning my frnd is suffering with vomitings due to food poison , so it’s an near by hospital we called to the toll free they said to come and visit causality doctors will be available .. After coming here and seeing the patient condition ,they are saying that doctors will come after one and half hour please be waited or else if u need any immediate consultation you can go head for emergency services , they haven’t informed about the charges before.. Once the patient entered inside the receptionist called and saying please fill the form and informing that it’s an emergency u need to pay 1680 /- due to emergency services .. I think in any hospital they won’t charge of 1680 rupees for emergency , if it’s an major issues like accident , cardiac arrest then it’s fyn just for food poison they are charging this much huge amount it’s not at all fair . This review will be seen by these hospital people after seeing they will simply that sorry for the inconvenience dash dash dash. …. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hospital infrastructure is great however the treatment is costly. Went there for stitches and dressing for my mother. Nurse Madhubasini supported really well , she was too polite and guided with the right medicinal suggestions. 5 star rating for her support

hospital ambience is quite good. clean and well maintained. I had a concern about a visit and my concern was considered by the admissions department they actually assisted to sort out the issue. I really appreciate the follow up from them for the given feedback. * pharmacy is organized well with coupon system to assess clearly for your turn. but shed good amount of time here, queues are long. * cafeteria I didn't try. * Parking is charged on hourly basis, so the more time you had to spend time here the more parking fee, not a point to appreciate. * nurse stations are organized well however usually they are bit messy in peak times. * For Inpatient, house keeping is impressive and they are very helpful. coming to doctors, and the satisfaction, it's not really necessary to have best traction with the doctor during your visit at times, but if not there are people out there to listen to your concerns to help you for better consultation in case if you face any issues, otherwise it is good hospital

Hospital is great, expensive but great. Doctor Debasish Majumder is extremely polite and a great ENT doctor/surgeon. The OT staff is great. Other services/staff, however, are pathetic. I paid I guess 10k for single room (forgot the exact amount) and yet you have to pay for even the most basic things like water. There’s no respect for the attender. The patient is treated well but someone who is with the patient is completely ignored. I mean the attender will at least require a pillow and bedsheet to lie down. After 4 requests and a complaint a pillow and a bedsheet was provided for the attender. It took them 6 hours to provide a pillow and a bedsheet. The discharge process is the slowest that I have ever come across. To be honest the doctor visited and approved discharge at 10 am and the discharge happened at 4 pm. The staff took 4 hours to send the final bill to the insurance. I called insurance and within 20 minutes they approved the final bill. By 2 o’clock the insurance approval came and after that also 2 more hours I had to stay in the hospital.

hi ,I visited this Hospital some days back when I came here with one of my friends who was ill and as I'm also a member of the Google maps I can tell that I like their treatment as well as standards they are maintaining even though the situation of covid-19 the so called virus Corona is going on....And also words are also no less for their doctors and staff who are more kind and supportive in any situation....they are so....lovely and fantastic people. I liked the way they approached towards every patient who was in need....very well as it is said it's one of the best Hospitals in Bangalore, Karnataka. I love that place🥰🥰

Registration and billing is very slow which makes the patient go aggressive. Would request management to step in and look in the process flow to make the patients visit smooth. Doctors are quite good with explaining what is the issue of patient disease. But first impression is last so please check your registration procedure.

I recently visited their emergency care for my brother, as soon as I reached there , immediately staff came to pick my brother from car ,they admitted him immediately without any admission procedure (great relief), later on admission formalities done, they have treated him well ,no unnecessary charges on the name of emergency.

Quality of doctors nursing care and hospital facilities are good and will give 5 stars for it. But the customer care staffs sitting at the nursing stations doesn't know the basics of handling customers. The lady sitting there was harsh and showing her rude face to all the customers she handled while I was waiting for my turn for consultation. Don't know how people with this short temperament are survived in this job. Need a lot of improvement in hospitals customer care

My overall experience was great. All the staffs very very caring and helpful. My mother was under the care of Dr. Rocker Katheria. I can say that he is one of the best doctor I have met. Thank you to team Manipal, Varthur.

I went for delivery for my baby. Normal delivery finally done. Bill is around 90k. But they say 57k package for normal delivery. How big trap is here almost double they charged of the package. Again, we got trapped in baby bill. Baby was totally fine they had transferred in NICU for aprx 5 to 6 hrs. Saying that NICU needed. They had charged for 6500aprx for that. Total bill they had made 68500INR for baby only imagine how this Manipal Varthur branch are looting to general Public. If there is less than a STAR i will rate to this people. Be careful with this Hospital better. Look for other hospital. And i am sure this is not new if they can do with obviously with all or with anyone else as well. Note- Its recent experience 25th Jan 2024 not older experience. And want to add one more point- in the bill they will mention miscellaneous charges++Gloves charges gown charges++apron charges+++etc.. For my bill they had charged 17 pair of gloves and so many things which was not used during procedures but has been charged. When you will go for clarification they will say nurse will clarify, and when you will discuss with nurse they will say we dont know that much, as per the written bill this is the correct only. Lot of problem is there in this Hospitals. I had ever seen worst hospital like this.

Hospital infrastructure is great so as staff. Staff and doctors are very polite but the charges are heavy and documentation process is more. I visited the emergency on Sunday they have keep on asking questions about my first time visit and other things. They could see the patient situation still asked us to wait and gave us the form to fill. Dear hospital please understand the patient concerns first and let the patient meet your doctors. Someone’s life is more important than your useless paper work process. Please make it less hassle for patients visiting emergency and allow your doctors to meet them first while paperwork can happen simultaneously.

Hospital is clean and hygienic the staff are more friendly the security guards are also more kind Gopal and his team are organized for taking care of people but it doesn't have any government scheme in hospital but value for money Doctors are more care taking of patients

Doctors are good. Management is very poor. Went to the emergency section for stitches and they gave a bill which they couldn’t explain the cost. It took 4 people to finally answer what the costs were. Went for a gynaecologist and though the hospital was empty and I reached half an hour early to ensure I’m not late, ended up waiting 1 hour for consultation to happen. Staff is polite. They just need better training.

This hospital is solely focused on making money; they show little concern for the well-being of individuals, and the staff members are extremely negligent. Instead of choosing Manipal Hospital, I would highly recommend considering a government hospital as it offers a less chaotic environment.

After admitting to the ward, the process is very slow. For medicine, food, procedure to the patient is given only after we remind the nurses 3-4 times. House keeping staff is very good and rooms are clean. Jayamma was very helpful and quick on any request for house keeping. Food is also not bad when compared to other hospitals. Very less doctors available at any given point of time. Doctors are hired on contract basis only for an hour or so. It gets very difficult to get a small thing done. Better to look for other hospital than Manipal Varthur.

The doctors and staff at Columbia Asia (previous name) hospital are very talented and helpful. My daughter was delivered here during covid days and everyone in the staff helped us in every way. Now we have moved out of India and again needed help with my daughter vaccination file. The staff member Saral, Akshya and Sindhu helped me over the call and prepared the vaccination file again. This was a difficult task for them and no other hospital staff would have agreed to go through this complex task. I really appreciate them and thanks them.

The new Manipal hospital is very customer friendly. My experience with all the staff members has been great. I had come here for my fathers cardiac treatment. The small cafe at the entrance is good too. Meera the cafe manger is a great host and has a very impressive and pleasant personality. The hospital has an overall friendly and supportive attitude. Went to the hospital for a pediatrician consultation WITH AN APPOINTMENT for high fever. We were on time, but the doctor disappeared right at the time of appointment. The staff kept saying that they called the doctor and she was on her way multiple times but each time she did not come. Finally when she came after making us wait for an hour, she didn't even have the basic courtesy to say sorry for being an hour late for an appointment. When she was examining the patient, she got two phone calls and she attended both which seemed like casual phone calls from her friends! The examination lasted two minutes after an hour-long wait even when we went with an appointment. She blabbered and typed everything without communicating properly. I am surprised that such entitled doctors are at this hospital. The only thing they did promptly was take our money as soon as we arrived!

We have been a regular visitor of this hospital. Did two operations for parents, recommend to many friends and relatives and been to this one every time possible. After manipal taking over from Columbia Asia, the quality is degraded. Canteen food is not good, please change the contractor. Improve quality in each area like cleaning, infra materials, staff quality, I see a good crowd here, to retain the management need to work smart. Good luck!

I would like to share my experience with Manipal Hospital Varthur Road. This was on 14.02.24, I had taken my daughter to an Orthospecialist. The pace at which staff work is extremely alarming. There were hardly 3 patients or so, in the Radiology department and they almost took 30 minutes to do the X-ray and 15 minutes to issue the report. My turn was given to someone else during the incapability of the staff. Either the staff is not trained or they have a carefree attitude. For a visit that could have been done within 1 hour, it took almost 2.5 hours to finish. I wish that the Management takes effort to train the staff well and also to monitor their working as no staff seems to be supervised. Very unprofessional and unorganized.

Overall good service. 👍 Doctors explained each process step by step. With the start to consulting to operations all well. Even the day care was good. They were polite and quick to respond. The only issue was the insurance and insurance claim. It is not clear and billing and claiming takes too long. One of the insurance assistant was also sarcastic when asked to clear the question we had. Only reason gave 4 starts instead of 5 starts.

I went along with my Wife for an Emergency and Mr. Jaba attended us very soon. He heard all our consensus and helped us quickly with the diagnosis procedures as well.

Extremely poor service at the nursing station A on Feb 18. Even when there are long queues the 2nd counter isn't opened. We are told systems are slow. When you take such high charges for consultation why can't you invest in systems which are faster? The follow up days are reduced from 2 weeks to 3 days. The effect of the medications will take more than a week. How can you reduce it to 3 days? Then you send the prescription to the medicals? Why and who authorized anyone to do that with patients? We should decide if we want to buy at your hospital or not.

Columbia Asia Whitefield is a world class hospital and caters to both national and international patients. They employ best of the doctors in their respective field of discipline, well organized in terms of setting appointments and honoring the time of patients. This hospital is empannelled with nearly all important health insurance companies. Cashless hospitalization is relevant in such case and is carried out very effectively. Interiors are swanky and very well maintained. There is always an emphasis on the overall aesthetics. Staffs, nurses, doctors house keepers, cashiers are very well behaved and thoroughly professional. Amidst the covid pandemic outbreak, the hospital has arranged for virtual consultation which comes as a big relief for a patient like me. In this regard, I would like to thank Mr Saral for coordinating everything for a very smooth virtual appointment with my endocrinologist. From sending out payment link to arranging skype call, he did everything professionally and gracefully. Thanks to Saral and the entire hospital management, and of course Dr. Fred Williams who is my savior.

Very good infrastructure, good consultants however I have two areas that the management needs to address 1) TOILETS- ABNOXIOUS is an understatement, especially the one near the scanning area ! 2) Make it inclusive- your signages is only in English , does it mean that you do not want Kannada speaking people ? Are you so elitist that you have immediately put up a barrier ? What about patients with limited sight?

I admitted my mother at Columbia Asia Whitefield one midnight for an emergency which got diagnosed for an cardiac issue .From the time that my mom got admitted, Dr.Sreelakshmi and team from emergency dept gave a very good treatment and care tat was really amazing.I am really thank ful to the doctor for helping me in an emergency and for providing extraordinary support.Dr.Jai Babu guided us nicely through out the course of treatment. My sincere ,heartfelt thanks and appreciation goes to the whole cardiac team of doctors who were very kind enough and patient friendly. Dr Jai Babu,Dr.Naveen chandra ,Dr.Bhaskar ,Dr.Anirbhan who were really such an amazing doctors.I also would like to specially thank Dr.Joseph from cardiac dept for his tremendous support that he provided from the beginning till end.They gave a detailed explanation of the issue and made us comfortable.My mom got safely discharged bcoz of their close monitoring . Hospital services are good. Cleaning is something which I liked alot. Housekeeping Nandini kept the room clean always and very polite. Only issue is they charge a lot for non medical expenses. Got 2 surgeries done here for my mom and ended up paying around 40K in each surgery just for non medical expenses.

Had been here for many times for hand fracture, nasal allergies etc . Most of the Doctors are very good. Very much recommended. Hospital infrastructure is very good . Rooms are very clean & neat .

I had a gallbladder removal operation done here. I came to the hospital on jun 23, 23 evening suffering from a terrible pain in the stomach. I was immediately attended to at the emergency and felt assured that I will get the right treatment there. Doctor Praveen diagnosed me correctly after conducting the necessary tests, and I was advised a surgery the next day morning. The admission process was smooth. My insurance policy was accepted for cashless treatment. The service at the room was great. The nursing staff very supportive and alert. I was prepared for the operation. I was impressed by the professionalism in all aspects. Dr Praveen is a great surgeon. I was provided very good post-operative care. There was a very good team work. I was discharged in two days. The discharge process was also very smooth. I am very thankful to all in Manipal Hospital, esp Dr Praveen. Best wishes.

Visited doc with all the reports paid the consultation fee, she asked me to get another test done from the hospital to be double sure for which it took 4 days due to unavailability of the staff, now when I took her appointment they charged the consultation fee again (800rs). This is absolutely disappointing. Should come up with patient friendly policies rather than only focusing on making business.

Do you believe if I say there is no baby feeding room in this hospital. Yes. That's true. No feeding room. If you request, any available consultation room will be given which is glass doors room with a CC camera and no lock to the room. Being a big hospital management, is this what patients expect? For every thing there are lot of charges taken from the patients but the basic facilities are not available. Very poor.

Worth hospital staff and facilities. Horrible expirience and doctors behaviour is non acceptable. Not maintaining Manipal hospital standards and also non accurate lab reports and result. Its all bad business and doctors arent following work ethics and professionalism. No one should go and get any tests done from here. All Doctors are always in rush and wont give proper attention. Dont get any scans done from here. Its complete wastage of money. They are unhygenic and doesnt follow safety protocols while testing.

A family member was diagnosed with dengue, Oct of 23. We went to emergency at 8:30 PM, they admitted the patient and started with the tests even before we could start the paperwork at the reception. This was a great relief. The hospital was clean, even the shared ward was clean. The pharmacy is 24x7. Doctors seemed good. The nurses were professional and took care of the patient. They were available every time we requested assistance. I didn’t visit the cafeteria but they have a 3rd wave coffee. The car parking was mostly available. We had 12 hours to share the insurance info, which we submitted next morning, so the billing too was cashless. The experience at blood bank was good. They gave the patient platelets whenever it was required and then asked us to donate/find a doner later with no pressure to donate urgently. WHAT MUST IMPROVE: I felt most of the staff was nice except 1 guard. This particular guard did not understand that parents came to visit the patient after a long flight, from airport directly to the hospital, parents wanted to visit the patient immediately and this guard was following the book that only one person can go at a time. During one of the visits (attendant swap), this guard randomly asked to open the bag for checking (we had loose clothes, fresh towels and a pillows). He said he wants to check that we are not bringing outside food for the patient in high care ward. We opened the bag but that triggered me also because what authority does hospital guards have to check the bags of visitors, are we thieves!! Infact we heard this guard arguing with the nurses late night - I didn’t understand why he was shouting at the nurses. The nurses were always good so I just assumed it was a problem with this particular guard. Health care professions and their guards too should learn to respect people’s emotions and show helping nature instead of following the book blindly. overall experience was good. Every other guard, except this one, was helpful. Hence not 5 star but 4 stars for my experience.

Hope less customer service Called customer care for a bill copy of medication, but the lady who received my call name starts with letter S who was on duty at 11:30 am on 04 August was not in the proper mindset to listen to patient patiently as soon as she heard pharmacy, she transferred my call blindly at the very first time. Again called her and explained that it's a customer care staff duty to send bill copy to patient has early also I have received bills from them and even second time she didn't even bother to respond again transferred my call to the pharmacy. The pharmacist Miss Nadiya and Mr. Prabhu was so kind enough to listen and respond to me, I think customer care team needs to learn how to talk to a customer from pharmacists.

This hospital is a money making machine. The doctors will just scare you so you get admitted and pay hospital a good amount. They charged about 6.5k just for 4 stitches for my kid's head injury. The guy on the counter will first ask for money before producing the bill.

I contacted Columbia Asia hospital, Whitefield for an appointment with Dr. Veera Reddy, Orthopedician. But MS. JAYANTHI. I, in the nurse station of orthopaedic department told that the doctor was not available on that day and asked me contact her at 11 am. on 27/07/2020, so that she would arrange my consultation over phone with to the Doctor. Accordingly u phoned at the appointed time. MS. JAYATHI. I, is very outstanding in her professional approach and helped me. Her action is outstanding.

Based on the OPD info provided on your own website. We thought doctor will be available from 9 AM. But it's more than 1.5 hrs. Doctor has not come yet.

Had taken a relative for > 40 years Health check package. Lot of waiting to be done. Be very patient. Better coordination has to be done. SPOC contact not reachable most of the times. Very limited consultation given. For more details, you need more visits and more spendings. Cafeteria food was above average. Can do more improvements. We got Burnt Gobi Manchurian.

If you guys collect online payment, also have the provision for online refund. It's pretty frustrating calling again and again for a refund. Times have changed, adopt technology accordingly. *Thanks for taking prompt action and providing a solution. This is much better.

I wish I could give less than a star. As most of them have already mentioned, staff has no clue what they are doing. The most incompetent staffs for any hospital you can get. I had some faith on the doctors but I lost that too after an incident. I came here just because it was close to my place, but this hospital made me realize go to a better hospital even though it's far.

My father underwent two operations Dynamic hip surgery and cystoscopy and finally expired at hospital due to an arrest on feb-1( was informed in advance he was deteriorating due to his co-morbid conditions) Good: 1. Experienced doctors who follow well defined protocol for treatment. 2. The admin team /insurance team is prompt and quick. 3. In patient waiting time is 15-20 min which is good 4. single window payment/appointment at most of the stations. 5. never felt wrong advice on treatment was given to me or hospital wanted to extend my stay . Were very prompt on discharge options. 6. Dr Indira/Bethur who were prompt and suggestion were valuable. Bad: 1. Had a not so good experience at emergency with a doctor who didnt take my fathers condition seriously and let him go home without proper check on the condition. 2. While admitted sometimes doctors bill 2-3 consultation in a day i.e more than 2k /day just on consultation. 3. The lab investigation cost are higher compared to most of the diagnostic centers/hospitals. 4. nursing staff is not adequate had lot of issues in getting there attention(very annoying considering premium columbia asia commands ) i am sure they were overstretched and was disturbed with therr apathy. 5. Not sure how good the nursing staff is in managing the ordered items i see discrepancy in # of items ordered and actual usage( the difference is not much but not sure if they should really look into details and then order ) The nursing needs improvement , need more nurses considering array of patients who visit columbia asia from maternity to infants to elderly. The doctor's at emergency needs lot of improvement and quick response (on 24 jan one mr reddy not sure if he did his diagnosis appropriately). The pricing needs a recheck ? how can a ecg/fbs price be 20 to 30 percent higher compared to others?? Would recommend if you can afford , but the price is on higher side , definitely a option for residents of Whitefield .But needs lot of improvement considering the premium they charge.

In November 2020 I Parsnaly adimtade in hospital for only one day for high blood pressure prblm they'll change me more than ₹50000/(Fifty thousand) including 90% are Lab testing charges and prescribed me eight medicine and continue for three months meet after three months after three months done all same Lab tests from outside with reputate Lab company in only ₹1350/ and I got appointment for tele consulting on 25th fab two days back I sent all current Lab tests reports they tell me first deposit ₹800/ I transfer ₹1600/ bymistake now they're saying we have not Received your money and refused doctor consulting it takes one week to update Bank passbook we Cofurem your appointment

A hospital with almost all facilities in the neighborhood. All hospital have pros and cons , primarily based on the experience of the patients. More often angry patients provide reviews ☺️ Overall I m satisfied with the services (you need to be active to ask and follow up). Pharmacy needs big time improvement in terms on stocking up medicines , atleast the ones which Doctor Prescribed.

Hospital is so clean, Doctors are so cooperative always ready for surgery,most beautiful corner of the hospital is the ICU.. Other than this parking is also a great area .. Nothing to say anything other than a great place to visit.. If I had a choice I will recommend 6 star's

An amazing experience at this State of the Art hospital. Dr Saad is exceptionally pleasant and perfect with his diagnostic skills. Great service at the reception. A special mention of Mrinalini who is always very efficient and cooperative.

I faced a problem where the lab reports were delayed and the follow up consultation was not being accommodated since I was late by one day than the prescribed 3 days hospital policy for a free follow up consultation. The staff was adamant even after multiple calls and requests and not considerate of the fact that lab reports were delayed from hospital side.. Anyway the issue was resolved , once escalated and I did get the follow up consultation. Only request to management is to please consider revising the 3 days follow up rule from lab report date instead of doctor consultation date as these delays are bound to happen in a practical scenario.

My Sister had an appointment in Oncology department. She had to do multiple tests. I would like to thank al the Supporting staffs. They all were very efficient, courteous and professional in guiding her through all the required procedures and arranging other appointments. It's a great hospital with good infra and great doctors. I found all the nursing staff also very helpful and committed. Had a great experience during a minor surgery of my son special thanks to Mr Utkarsh in marketing department who took care of us right from the admission till the discharge. Only downside to the hospital is its bit costly. Hopefully they would rework on that part to cover greater population which is not so privileged.

Hospital stay was quite nice. All the staff was very cooperative. Jyotji S N, the nurse who took care of me was very professional and guided me well post the surgery. During this pandemic, I was very afraid of getting admitted to hospital. But Nandini Ma'am kept the room very clean and tidy that comforted me a lot. This hospital is my one stop destination for all health problems.

The usual, Navigation in the building for Infrequent visitors could be a problem. Parking can get tight during busy hours. Inside of the Building is spacious and looks modern. Easily visible Help desk can be useful to visitors.

This hospital doesn't even deserves two start but I am giving two stars just because of the good doctors. This hospital is managed poorly and they are bringing down the Manipal brand name. My wife has done a blood test on 01/04 and she was supposed to get the report within two hours by email but we waited for a whole day and we missed a doctor appointment. When I visited the hospital I found that the report was ready within two hours from time of sample collection and they don't have any explanation why it wasn't sent by email. This is the second time we have faced this issue with Columbia Asia Varthur (now Manipal). Even at the peak hours they manage the crowd very poorly. Whitefield Manipal is far far better than this. This hospital should get their staffs in line else they will lose the faith of people.

They have really good and capable doctors. I have been regular to this hospital for last 7 years but post acquisition by Manipal, the management has went downhill completely. It is pretty challenging to get a single appointment unless you have connects within the hospital. Earnest advise: Please improve the hospital management. The hospital has some excellent doctors and nursing staff but it is futile if a patient doesn't get care when they need the most. I can quote multiple instances of mismanagement but want to avoid. Intent is to convey the complaint and hoping for great improvements not to offend on public platform.

Very competent doctor and also a very considerate person, rather than just diagnosis and prescription, he took out time to make me understand my health problem and a plan of action for resolving it. Speaking of the nursing staff, Pratibha from 2B was exceptional in her duties. Additionally, Amrita, the patient experience coordinator, provided timely updates on insurance matters and daily rounds for issue resolution. Right from the beginning, she took care of everything, whether it was related to cafe services or housekeeping. She efficiently addressed all our queries. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Worst hospital to visit in the whole of Bangalore. There are a lot of issues. The nurses and junior doctor has no clue what they are doing and what are their roles and responsibilities. When I came to this hospital my Platelets was 136000. However in the matter of just 3 days the platelets were dropped to just 20000. No one has a clue and they just keep on telling that this happens. The most frustrated part is they have platelets but they will refrain from putting it on. This hospital should write in bold letters that they will only treat anyone who knows Kannada. Because none of the staff here speaks Hindi neither they don’t want to try. I request you all not to visit this hospital for any better medical assistance. This is just a scam in the heart of the city.

Really happy to share my experience about Manipal hospital Varthur. One of reputed hospital in Bangalore. Excellent and experienced doctors who make you feel that you are in good hands. Coming to nursing staff 2B pratibha, she did her job fanatics and Amrita patient experience co ordinate mam gives us update on insurance and the daily rounds regarding any issues mam did her role on time.

Pathetic service by the nurse and the lady sitting at the nursing counter.. came with severe wheezing to just do nebulisation with oxygen and they just abruptly told me leave as they would take me in as the prescription was from another hospital. I am already registered with MH and then later on the lady at the nurse station again said that my no is not registered but I have delivered my kid here in MH, how can that lady just claim I am not registered. They made me walk up and down when I had wheezing. And when the nebulisation started there was no oxygen. And then after an argument again they bought the O2 machine and my mask tube just bursted .. So nothing served my purpose .. the attitude is what is really concerning.. who monitors these ladies ? How can we have smooth experience with such attitudes

We refered to multiple doctors in Manipal and want to share our detailed experience hope it helps if you are planning to visit. 1) Gynec and L&D I concieved a baby girl in October 2022, was under doctor Sita Rajan. She is a wonderful doctor and provided with all the positivity and support throughout my pregnancy journey. Thanks to her i was able to recover easily and exclusively breastfeed post delivery The l&d staff is too busy!! just to put an NST i had to wait for so long. They pricked me twice for canula coz first one was not done well. Was not very happy with the room temp it was either too hot or too cold. 2) Wards n admission. My biggest disappointment was the nurses!! except one or two nurses rest have to be told multiple times!! they are not very knowledgable and struggle to do some simple jobs. i wish they work on this aspect. The beds could br little more comfy. after c section my back was in misery on the bed!! The housekeeping dept does a good job but them coming in and frequently asking how is the service are u happy is another pain. the car decoration team is crazy they put balloons in between on the front glass not realizing how is a person supposed to drive!! 3) Paediatric doctors and NICU: we had consulted to Dr. Anand Patil for babys health. She also got an infection for which she was admited for a week. we were very pleased with all the support of the doctors and their availability. Dr. Shalini also had been of great help. Dr. Vedarth paediatric surgeon also was very knowledgable and supportive for my babys complication. NICU sister was again disappointing. i was really shocked to see that inorder the babies sucks and sleeps easily she rolled a gauze and put in babies mouth. How can a mom leave her baby under such nurses care!! 4) Microbiology lab: we had given samples for culture and to even give provisonal report they take really long. i hope their sample analysis is more efficient. 5) emergency dept: we had to rush twice to the emergency dept and i have to say they have been very good. we were provided all the support and care required. they are prompt and skilled. both the doctors and nurses. 6) radiology: The radiology staff is very good!! we were not aware of a complication baby had throughout all the preg scans which were done outside. luckily it was caught at manipal scan in the last scan. We could follow up this problem after birth also. The radiologist are very knowledgable and good with baby scans too. 7) Vaccinations we did our babys vaccination here and were pleased with the way things are managed. the nurse was considerate and skilled to administer the injections. 8) others canteen is good little bit pricy, wards are clean and comfy, visitors are well managed, service food is decent, pharmacy ppl are really slow and take forever to manage simple request, parking can be well managed. 9) charges lab rates are very very expensive. I dont understand why simple test like cbc or urine routine are so expensive. the hospital needs to work on some decent pricing. The biggest disadvantage is the nurses and the attention and skill they have. Hope hospital works towards improving it. The patients will have a much better experience. Also they need to be more attentive about patient record files. our test results were not added, some other patient report was in our file. Also the medicine doctor suggested during the stay in the hospital was not timely given as the file was with nurses. It would be better if its kept with patients so atleast patients relative can confirm the medicine given. overall thanks for all the support and care provided!!

We had a great experience. Good doctors, nice nursing staff, super hygiene and tasty- healthy food from cafeteria. Souradit from cafeteria made a special effort in preparing dish according to our requirements since my son wasn’t eating anything.

All the services are good my father was admitted here and to be honest we did not had a single day as hospital. They all treated us like family dr. And the ortho team were always there to help to explain the procedure and they were very good we were really stunned by the nursing care given in ICU ot and ward they were quick and responsive. The different teams were also very proactive. Vthe canteen food was very good in taste and they were really cooperative. Lastly amritha from patient experience team was there to clear all our doubts

The nurses are very polite and are taking care of each and every problem the cafe services is good and the food of canteen for the patient is very healthy the hospital is well cleaned and fully maintained the support staff is very cooperative and Anees is very helpful as he solved all our billing queries as we had many but he helped us throughout with the discharge summary And billing process we are grateful to have people who empathise with patient and are there to help

The staff are really nice and helpful I was here with my daughter and we had a wonderful experience the dr are really. everyone was very cooperative. Sister are really nice and friendly Priyanka sister is very good and helped us alot. The other supportive staff anitha Amrita and all were really helpful in different way. Here I met with Dr Rajesh and Dr. Pavith from ortho team they were very courteous and helped us alot during the procedure The IP service team is really helpful nd helped us with all the processes starting from the insurance to discharge . The nursing team is really kind and they take the utmost care . The cafe service are really good and they are providing healthy food to the patient and the attender.

All the services are too good. Manipal VARTHUR has been my first preference ever since it has changed .the doctors are really coperative and are best in the service. It always feels chaos to me in each and every corner of hospital People talk loudly on phone, watching videos on high volume including nurses , house keeping calling patients in loud voice. Be patient and calm at least here, you are in hospital NOT in HOTEL… They should have one dedicated person to control such things

This hospital has never disappointed me from day one visit till date. Be it a minor disease or some emergency - the service provided is awesome though the charges are little high compared to any nearby hospitals. However it is satisfactory and up to the mark. Worst hospital I have ever been to...i went for my treatment on 06-11-23.. and received all the bill manually saying that the printed bill will be provided later..while claiming for insurance the ins company rejected the bill..never go to this hospital if u want to claim insurance money

I will never recommend Manipal Hospital Varthur. Following the consultation, the doctor advised an injection in the emergency section. Despite waiting for 2.5 hours and multiple follow-ups, my case was not addressed. They cited ongoing emergencies, asked me to buy unavailable medicine, and delayed providing it until the next day. Even after obtaining the medicine, they made me wait in the Emergency section due to a lack of beds. Eventually, they realized the prescription specified taking the injection after lunch, refusing to administer it immediately. Manipal's service was incredibly disappointing.

I have very good experience in this hospital. I got a great treatment for my mother from Dr. Raj Debasish chakraborty (orthopaedic) and Dr Chetan A (neurology). I also had a great experience when had the video consultation after two months. Mary Shalini helped me to have the consultation done very smoothly. Thank you all, keep doing the great work.

I have been facing a throat infection for 3 months now, I had consulted Dr.ShilpaH of Manipal at Varthur road. Initially even after a couple of visits it was not curing, made me feel a bit stressed and started doubting about the diagnosis, maybe we want everything fast in the current situation and generation is different. Her intention was to kill the issue so as not to cure it temporarily, the way she sees the problem is very different from any other doctors, she is very patient, very polite in answering and great at listening. I have even taken my daughter for her snoring problem and treatment is ON. I definitely and highly recommend this doctor.

the hospital is really good and we are coming here since last 5 years the hospital has shown a drastic growth in patient care and patient overall experience. the doctor are as usual the best in this unit and without a doubt we trust them and come for them. but i would like to point out few thing that are very impressive as and when i come here from the security there is always some to greet and help us then in opd there are people for assistance and cordination and they make sure that the patient is treated with the utmost care in ipd also tge nurses are really good and friendly the hospital is well maintained and clean the housekeeping staff , gda and cafe also improved in terms of talking to patient handling i am really happy overall

The Medical Service provided by Manipal Hospital, Varthur Road was really Great, and the assistance provided by Mr. Naveen (incharge of emergency) was very helpful. My sister (Tejashree) had an emergency, we got her to another nearby hospital first, the treatment there was not good, then my father contacted Mr. Naveen in Manipal Hospital, Varthur Road and asked if we could transfer my sister here. They provided all the details and blocked a Isolation Bed for us and it was a seamless admission. They did all the necessary tests very quickly and diagnosed the problem very quickly. The expertise of Dr. Shivraj (Pulmonologist) and Dr. Vinod (Internal Medicine) is fantastic and I am thankful to all of them for the timely Treatment they provided to my sister. The Staff, Nurses and even the Cleaning Lady (don't know her name) in the ward is very polite and friendly.

I recently got a surgery done here. Doctor Praveen CR was excellent at his work. Nursing staff in operation theater and one’s assigned in the room were exceptionally good. Great hospitality and care was taken from doctors to nurses to assistance and cleaning staff. There was a time that I was alone for couple hours post operation, but I was taken good care of. Very neat and good hospitality. I would recommend Dr. Praveen C R who is a general surgeon.

Alhamdulillah and all credit goes to Allah who gives the creative power to preserve. It was really an unendurable journey. From June 2023 to till now we realised different experiences which cannot be shared. A mother who lost both kidneys for a couple of years. It's not possible for doctors or patients’sides to take risks. She had hepatitis B and C both of positive and done biopsy. It’s an ABO incomparable kidney transplant. After a long journey, Alhamdulillah we reach a good. If i say thanks total credit goes to Dr. Garima Aggarwal who gives us confidence and tries her best. I have no words to describe the unendurable journey. Thank you all who Keep your prayers on me and my Mom. Thank you Manipal Hospital and the doctors team for giving us new strength. This hospital is worst in attending emergency patients . This hospital is equipped to handle only one emergency at a time and doctors and staff are very negligent not serious about attending the patients. Today around 8 pm my one year baby not well so myself and my husband ran to Manipal since the hospital near to us.The person stand in front of the emergency door asking me to wait ,he not even allow me inside I was saying him my baby in emergency but keep on saying me to wait after few minutes one staff came out from emergency room and enquiring me what happen to her I was explaining him and he take me inside , the person who sitting in the entry ( I think he is the doctor but I am not sure about it ) he saying here we don’t have space , and they told me doctor have to come so you go out and wait , we went for emergency but they asking us to wait outside of the emergency room ,oh no( my baby just one year ) if something happen to her what they will do by god grace she is safe now .worst experience ever , humble request please don’t repeat this to anyone please , we believing you peoples and coming but you peoples just pushing us to worst situation and causing mental illness . Please don’t do this 🙏🏻
