There were several positives for this Hilton. The staff and service were great and helpful with parking. The staff wore higher level masks correctly. Our room felt clean. We had a nice corner room with two walls of windows. The lobby is beautiful. On a less positive note, there was no fridge in the room, which to us, felt like a missing essential. The shower water temperature was difficult to adjust and the light did not seem connected to any power so it felt a little dark. There were popcorn ceilings.

I stayed for one night and I enjoyed my stay. Aly at the front desk was wonderful and handled all of my requests. Everyone at the restaurant was great and welcoming. The managers and the servers. My room was clean as I expected and I had the premium wellness room which had an air purifier and came with coconut water and chocolate covered almonds for same price as a regular room. The bell hops were also great and very helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. I had a great experience.

Had an awesome experience staying here. Room was clean and perfect for 3 of us girls. The staff was SUPER friendly. Even from just pulling up to the front to checking out. Everything was great. I was not informed that we would be charged for parking and I called asking what the charge was on my card. They graciously reimbursed me. Definitely recommend this hotel!

I spent wonderful two nights at this hotel. I cannot say enough about the customer experience here, everyone went above and beyond to make sure that we felt comfortable here! The rooms were also very clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient to where I needed to be. All in all, this hotel made a necessary trip a true pleasure! A heartfelt thank you to all the staff members here, especially the receptionists!!!

Sigh…. Where to begin…. The lobby has been renovated, but that’s where the fancy ends. Elevators, hallways and rooms are very dated. The pool is cold, the tiles and pool coping are a death trap. No way they are up to code. Unbelievably slippery. Kids slipping and falling left and right. But the hotel is covered legally because they place a wet floor sign. The hot tub filled with cement and tiled over is a nice touch. No idea how this hotel can carry the Hilton name.

This is a lovely hotel. The room hallways look a bit dated and in need of repairs and updating but nothing terrible. The hotel is located very close to the train station, we walked there for a train to the Capitol Theater. There is plenty to do and see nearby and it was nice stay. The staff were very helpful and kind. There is a Starbucks located inside but it had limited hours and we like an early fresh coffee.

Sharon and the outstanding team at the hotel restaurant truly made my day! Sharon made me feel so special and took great care in making sure my breakfast order was just right. Every team member I encountered?at the restaurant, including the manager, greeted me and made sure I had everything I needed. I wish I was staying for more than just a day—I’d love to start my day off with that kind of treatment every day! On top of that, breakfast was delicious and the blackberries were the sweetest I’ve ever had. The freshness of the delicious fruit was so surprising because I have never had fresh, naturally sweet blackberries at a hotel anywhere in the US. This was just what I needed after traveling and being rerouted all day and night because of a snowstorm.

Rooms, while dated, were very clean and well kept. Staff, especially staff. Sharon and Moyve in the dining area were very personable and attentive. Check in was efficient and cheerful. Any maintenance needed was quick. Elevators were fast. Very pleasant stay. Only negative was there was no refrigerator and microwave in the rooms, leaving me to have to keep medication on ice in my ice bucket.

From the time we stepped to check in, Alley, at the front desk, welcomed us with the most wonderful smile. Our room was clean. The bed and down pillows were the most comfortable that I have slept on. The next morning we were attended at breakfast by Michael, (such a gentleman!) who checked with us frequently to make sure that we were happy with our meals. We’d like to mention Erica and Mohammad who were nearby answering our questions. Sharon, the manager stopped by to say hello and made sure we had everything we needed. Our stay was a happy one, even for only one night of sleep after going to a show in NYC, thanks to the staff. The train station is very close and there is parking at a reasonable price. Highly recommended. Will check-in again!

Lovely room and great service throughout the complex. Michael in the restaurant was wonderful. He was helpful, courteous and kind. Ali at the desk was also helpful courteous and kind. The staff in general seemed ready to help the guests and truly wanted our stay to be a good one. My only complaint would be the parking garage. There could be better/clearer signage. It is easy to get confused and not be able to find your car!

Gosh where do I start. So for starters when I got into the room there were fingerprints on the mirror in the bathroom, rust/mildew on the lighting fixture in the restroom. The toilet seat was filthy and obviously not cleaned prior to our arrival. Chips in the paint on the wall under the window. There is a sign in the fitness center stating the pool is open until 11pm but when we got there at around 10:15 we were told by the cleaning lady that it closed at 10 instead and the sign is old. Not to mention she was very rude when I asked her to repeat herself because I couldn’t understand her because she had a thick accent. I also feel the amenities for a hotel of this caliber are too few. Restaurant and room service hours are very limited. No microwave inside of our room just one community one inside the lobby. Only 2 paper cups, no glassware. Outdated decor and rooms. I have zero incentive to stay at another Hilton ever. I cannot stay at a hotel where the rooms are subpar and people with such poor customer service skills. The only reason I’m not leaving a 1 star is because the location is decent and relatively close to good restaurants etc.

Hotel lobby was great…. But as soon as you get into the elevator you’ll notice how old and poor management these hotel has…. Once we where in our hotel room, we found lots of dust between bed and night stands like it hasn’t been cleaned in years….. the side of night stands where extremely gross…. Sheets on the king size bed had some gross spots….. pull up mattress was thin as a sheet…. I was supposed to be there for two nights and I ended up leaving at the next morning…..when service desk asked me why I’m I leaving I couldn’t help it and I told them how gross the room were and they said… I’m sorry to hear that…. And that was it…. I’ve stayed in many Hilton hotels in many cities and couple countries as a “Hilton honors member” and I’ve never had this issue before

Everyone here at the Hilton was super kind and helpful Andrew at the front desk was the first to greet us. The room was very nice and spacious. We were able to go head and adjust the temperature as needed. The Buffay was extremely tasteful with a wide variety of things to eat. Ramadas was our waiter. He was above, and beyond kind and very attentive to our needs. I just see there is a great work ethic. Here at the health is very pleasurable place to say thank you.

I loved the property and the services. The staff as always went above and beyond and a very special thanks goes out to Wilda and her team at the front desk for making me and our group feel special. Can't wait until next year to do it all over again. Again thank you and your team for such a high level or professionalism.

Renee served us dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Renee rocks! She was gracious, attentive, kind and pleasantly engaging at dinner. She also gave us directions to the local sites. In the morning Renee greeted me by name at the restaurant, and was equally attentive, professional, and engaging. Not to miss: Their delicious homemade granola! Then there's Erica at the Front Desk. She's basically Renee behind the counter! More awesome and friendly great customer service! I love in hotels six months each year, and the staff here is among the best I've experienced nationwide. 🎉

We only stayed one night. Looking for a place to dine and sleep after 2 days traveling by air. Check in was smooth and the gentleman who checked us in was awesome. Dinner was good but the staff seemed distracted. We slept soundly, so much so we almost missed breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was good and our server, Ramdas, was amazing. His attentiveness and humor was a great start to our day. I’m adding this Hilton to my starred travel list for future stay location. Well done all.

When I checked into the hotel, Wilda helped me and was so nice. I was there for a convention so there were many people and a lot going on. Wilda was calm and so helpful. I was at the bar and Ray was GREAT! There were many of us and he took all our orders in a timely fashion and was awesome to work with. Hilton is lucky to have great people like these two working for them!

No coffee before 6:30am? The Starbucks and restaurant (restaurant has better coffee) do not open till 630. Only coffee available is a dirty Keurig machine in a “lounge”. Hotel is adequate. Staff are pretty friendly and nice. I had to stay out of necessity 2x per month, but I don’t think I can come back because of the coffee Come on Hilton. Maybe the Marriott has coffee

Not a fan of this hotel room… the place is great inside the hotel but the rooms are so dated. In dire need of updating. It wasn’t but 15 minutes until I saw the first bug in my room! The rooms smell like cigarettes really strong… called the front desk to alert them and they wanted to move me but I think that smell is just cooked in from being an old hotel. Everything is scuffed and worn and they didn’t have hand-soap or a bar of soap in the bathroom to use at the sink which was weird. Parking was weird and overly complicated. For the price I don’t recommend.

We were visiting my mom in the city where I grew up. We had just left a VERY DISAPPOINTING stay at another Hilton Resort in NYC . What a DELIGHTFUL stay we had at this Hilton property from the moment we arrived greeted by Tanya. Check- in was a breeze with conversation evolving easily as I mentioned how Stamford has changed. She agreed having grown up also in Stamford. In the next sentence we discovered we were both SHA graduates! Our room had a lovely view of Long Island Sound The next morning, a lovely server helped with a variety of muffins to go to bring to my mom. Another custodial staff member, busy herself cleaning door windows, insisted on helping us with our luggage out to the car. Each time when we left or entered during our stay, another front desk employee ( Abby or Amy ink was not working well) Warmly greeted us & answered any questions that we may have had. We expect to be visiting family in this area more in the future. If rates stay competitive, it will be nice to know where we will lay our heads every evening. This property may not have RESORT in it’s name but we definitely felt that we were staying at one. Kudos to the entire staff!

Destiny greeted me after a long day in a lot of stressful traffic. Nice, friendly, helpful and understanding! She helped me get the room we needed for the night and even loved on our pup! I gave our room a 4-star only because the hotel is a little dated and tired. Our room seemed clean and was plenty large enough. The setting of the hotel is lovely…a large green area and away from traffic so our room was very quiet. Parking underground added a layer of security for our vehicle. Thank you Destiny! We appreciate you and your excellent customer service!!

We were at the Stamford Hilton from Aug. 23 to 25 of this year. Destiny, at the front desk, was consistently gracious and helpful. She is an asset to the Hilton. We felt welcome and well taken care of. The maintenance staff, especially the head of maintenance, took good care of us when we locked ourselves out of our room. The three employees did their job professionally and efficiently. Thanks for a great stay!

Erica and Wilda at the front desk are amazing. I’ve stayed here a few times and they are always helpful and never make you feel like you are bothering them. In fact, they make it a point to make you feel welcome and are genuine with their customer service! Thank you both!

First the positive, for most the breakfast staff are great, special shout out to Ramdas and Ines for attentive service during my 1 week stay thus far. Edit: Had a pleasant evening at the bar with Ray, attentive, friendly and quick to serve, thank you so much. I would give you as well as the above people 5 stars all round. Subject: Constructive Feedback for Enhanced Guest Experience Dear Hotel Management, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share feedback on behalf of my team and myself regarding our recent stay, to contribute constructively to the enhancement of your esteemed hotel’s guest experience. Upon our arrival and during the initial day of our stay, we noticed that the level of customer service did not entirely meet our expectations for excellence. The experience seemed somewhat variable, with moments that shone but others that left room for improvement. Such inconsistencies, while understandable during prolonged stays, did impact the overall quality of our experience. In terms of the hotel's physical condition, it appears that certain areas could benefit from thoughtful updates and refurbishment. Particularly, some rooms, such as those on the executive floors, show signs of wear and might be prioritized for upgrades to rejuvenate their appeal. Comparatively, while our stay has been generally satisfactory, we observed that the warmth and friendliness of the service seemed somewhat subdued when contrasted with some competing hotels in the vicinity. We express our gratitude for the hospitality extended thus far and look forward to witnessing the positive enhancements that will undoubtedly elevate the guest experience in your distinguished establishment. Warm regards, [Your Name]

Reggie B in the engineer department fixed our room safe very promptly. His attitude was also so pleasant. I have to say that the personnel in this hotel are outstanding. The person in charge of the gift shop was extremely pleasant. Customer service is the best.

My family and I recently stayed at your Stamford Hilton and we were treated so nicely by your staff, especially Erica, Remy, and Renee, they really made us feel very welcome and always went above and beyond. It was so nice when you are so far from home to feel like family where you are staying. Erica, at the front desk, was so sweet and let us check in early because the room was ready and we were so exhausted. She also was able to give us a break on the parking because of our long stay which was so sweet of her! Remy, the bellhop, was so wonderful as well, he helped us so kindly with our many bags of groceries and our suitcase, he helped us unload the car as well as bring it into the room, making me and my very tired mom's check in much easier. Renee, the server in the restaurant, was very nice and offered great suggestions for the food and served us so sweetly and perfectly and was always happy and smiling! I worked at a Hilton in Florida for ten years and know exactly the kind of staff that the Hilton strives to employ and these staff members are perfect examples of that! Thank you so much for your kind service, and we hope to see you all again next time we come to Connecticut!

A surprising amount of issues for such a seemingly nice hotel. At check in, there were issues/ misunderstandings on the details of my stay. The concierge didn't bother to look up anything and said I was mistaken. I pulled up an email confirming the details, and again he didn't even type or look down, just annoyingly mumbled something along the lines of sure we can do that. They didn't give us directions to the room or to the elevators. The room itself didn't have a room number plaque which made it harder to find. The bathroom was not fully cleaned. There was strands of hair in the tub. Smudges on the bathroom wall. Nothing of major concern but all together just adds to the lack of atmosphere. Despite having late check out and a do not disturb sign, we were woken up to banging on the door asking us to check out. Had to go out and explain that it was a miscommunication or something because we have a late check out. The lady seemed confused but left. When we actually went to check out the concierges were too busy chatting amongst themselves to actually check us out. They just said leave the cards. And I wouldn't mind if I didn't receive a text hours later asking me to either extend my stay or discuss later checkout options. Just a lack out customer service, organization, and cleanliness for such an above average price tag.

Stayed on 10th floor I liked that they added the addition of a refrigerator available in the room and in the shower there are shampoo soap and conditioner dispensers instead of the small bottles they use to provide. Product smells good. Room was clean. Met the housekeeping manager she was very friendly. The bellman were so friendly and attentive. Upon checking in I didn't feel so welcomed believe her name was Briana she was sitting down hiding behind the computer. Besides that hiccup every other front desk agents and managers were awesome.

The service here was excellent! During our stay, we had issues with our cards not working in the parking garage and Briana fixed the card no problem. She also recommended some places to go to around us for our stay. We had a great stay at the hotel, very unlike other hotels in the area. Beds are a bit stiff and pillows are flat, however the AC blows great, the shower was excellent, and Travola's downstairs was good.

Great location for my trip to Stamford. The rooms could use some updating but overall suitable for the price. The most notable thing was the warm and wonderful service. Jaime and Ray at the restaurant were a delight and so attentive and thoughtful in their service throughout the weekend I stayed there.

Enjoyed my 5 night stay at the Hilton. The staff was exceptionally pleasant and professional. I was lucky to have RAMDAS as my waiter almost every morning for breakfast. He not only was professional but extremely friendly and fun to chat with. He and the rest of the staff made my day much more enjoyable.

Honestly had a wonderful stay even though I was only actually in my room to sleep. Came for a very short, 2 night work trip and slept like a baby and enjoyed the beautiful fall scenery while I could. There’s a nice little park/walking area the property, with benches and great view! Recommend taking your coffee out there to watch the sunrise! Amazing staff, everyone was so helpful and sweet. I want to give a shout out to Dominic (I think that was his name-a very tall valet gentleman with a great smile) he was such a joy! He held the door, was personable and went out of his way to be helpful and had great energy! Thanks everyone!

Rooms were expensive for the quality of the room. They look old and need some love. Main lobby area looks aged but very clean. Some new carpet or a deep clean might help. Breakfast buffet was the same every morning with the exception of pancakes vs waffles. (Additional menu items or menu service would have been great) Sharon in the dining room is AMAZING. Very attentive and helpful and kind. She made it worth it. Shoutout to Pierre who was able to meet our needs with every request. He too is AMAZING. Check in and check out was very smooth.

A few days ago my husband and I visited Stamford Connecticut and stayed at the Hilton hotel, it was a marvelous stay. We had the pleasure of meeting a lovely lady who took care of us as if we were her family. she was in charge of the eighth floor her name is Danielle and we found her warm smile and greeting made us feel right at home. our room was spotless every day and meeting her was such a pleasure. I recommend the hotel to everyone. we also had the pleasure of meeting a young man named Michael who served us breakfast in the hotel dining room every morning.what a pleasure he was. he knew after the first day all the things we like best, tea instead of coffee, certain kinds of juices. he was very very good at his job and I hope you will recommend both these wonderful people be rewarded for that. They both possess a charming attitude and wonderful work ethic. many thanks suite 824

We had a great stay at the Hilton Stamford Hotel. All staff members were extremely kind and helpful. Erica checked us into the hotel, and she was lovely to work with. We checked in late in the evening, and her bubbly personality and recommendations made us feel right at home. The breakfast buffet was good, but the best part of our meal was being greeted by Sharon. She was helpful and ran the restaurant well. The lobby and common areas are well maintained. The rooms could use some updating and better cleaning, but we still had a comfortable stay.

Great hotel and a great stay. Rooms were nice and the hotel was very clean. Restaurant was good and breakfast was very good also. The main thing is the staff, they were truly excellent and set the bar for what other Hilton locations should make their customer service goal. We will definitely be back.

I completed my hotel stay during the weekend of June 30th! From the time I checked into the hotel until my check out time, my every need was met! The staff and hotel service was great & wonderfully consistent! The food was good and the bar was nice! My server during breakfast time was Ramdag. He was very courteous and made sure I was always taken care of with any request I may have had! The Hilton Stamford hotel checks all the boxes! I would definitely recommend this hotel for your next stay!👍🏽

I would recommend that room

This hotel is in need of upgrades. Elevators are often not working. The express elevator never works and it’s a challenge to get off the correct floor for the parking. Push B1 and you’ll end up at B2. The beds do not have any support for the back and you ache when you wake. The carpet in the room is frayed and worn, shower drain doesn’t drain well. However!! The staff here are exceptional. The housekeeping staff worked hard to tidy the room, the front desk staff were responsive and most of all, the host, Michael in the restaurant was the best. He always greets with a smile and good cheer and responsive to our needs. A great guy. I see this as a lot of employees working in a challenging condition. The hotel needs updating, but they work hard to give the guests the best experience. Thank you to the staff for your hard work.

Service at this Hilton is spectacular. I had an amazing experience at breakfast with Mrs Sharon who I found out has been working at this establishment for four and a half years! Mrs Sharon went above and beyond -customer service is in her blood! She truly cares for people, her kind spirit is genuine and she went out of her way to make breakfast great. She didn’t have to do it-she just saw that it needed to be done and did it. We need more people like her

Very nice hotel! The exterior facade is very formal and inviting. Their parking garage has a low clearance and was a concern while parking. They didn’t seem to offer any other parking options but the garage. The lobby is vast and has a Starbucks, restaurant and bar setting and plenty of seating. They seem to offer a very nice rental area for events and meetings. My only draws would be parking, cleanliness of the hotel showers and shower heads as well as bed size. 4/5. For the area I think they could invest into upgrading their rooms. I would stay here again though.

First impressions set the tone and mood. Front desk agent (official title🤷🏾‍♀️), by the name of Erica, displayed exemplary customer service from the start of check-in throughout our stay whenever called upon. Briana and Aly, thank you for your assistance as well, the smiles and pleasant greetings never went unnoticed. Other important staff that left a positive impression each day of our stay. Beginning with the gentleman outside upon our arrival and departures. Thanks for continued patience and understanding of your customers/clients from the time of drive up, check-in and unload of luggage or other items. Food and beverage: Hands down, the crew made my mother and me feel welcome. Michael was our preferred server throughout the stay due to his initial positive greeting, followed by attention to details based our meal preferences and needs. This gentleman, too, displays exemplary customer service. While, we did not interact much with Sharon, a food and beverage crew-member, she was observed to be an attentive listener with a strong and positive voice that commanded attention. She greeted guests of all ages with kindness and made you want to visit the food and beverage areas daily. Room: We did not require room service outside of towels and tubes of lotion for which Danielle, the room keeper, was very approachable and willing to provide. There were areas within the room that were quite unpleasant (pictures and video were taken by me). I always conduct a complete inspection of the room before unpacking, beginning with the beds and bathroom. Immediately, I was disgusted with the down comforter that was badly stained with feathers coming from it and on the sheet. Surely, the comforter should have been discarded and never grace another bed. Immediately, the front desk was called, speaking with Erica, who had a housekeeper to bring a replacement within 10 minutes. The elderly gentleman that provided the replacement comforter was pleasant. Next, the room drapes contained NUMEROUS medium to large spots all over them. The black table lamp’s exterior wrapping was peeling off. Only one bulb was operating the table lamp between the two queen beds. Two of the three brown dresser drawers did not close completely. Items in the bathroom that need attention include the loose bathtub faucet; and a plumber to address the sound that occurs when water is ran and it drains. It sounds like a clogged drain in the sink and tub. The question of would I stay again at the Hilton located at 1 First Stamford Place, in Stamford CT? Answer: Absolutely, due to the customer service and friendliness of the staff, the location and the exquisite hotel lobby with the beautiful skyline perfect for reading, entertaining or simply relaxing. I trust the room concerns would be addressed. Respectfully submitted, Hilton Honors Member/Customer June 2023

Rooms were clean and quiet, but very humid. Service was good, very easy check in/out. Skip the restaurant unless you have no other choice...very limited options. Was able to order off-menu to accommodate gluten allergy (steamed veggies and plain chicken) and did not get sick. Very friendly staff.

The staff were friendly and a credit to the hotel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. However everything else was hugely disappointing. The hotel is very tired and long overdue an upgrade. If you are over 6ft tall you will need to be a yoga master to sit on the toilet. My room had a connecting door to the next room which may as well have been made of tissue paper for all the privacy it afforded. As I listened to my neighbors intimate phone calls, at least I could enjoy the awesome view of the air conditioning unit on the roof outside. I would have watched TV, but it had a massive crack in the screen. The food was bland and grossly overpriced. Also, don't try to order food between 2pm and 5pm. The kitchen is closed then (Helpful hint: at lunch time there is a great food court in the nearby office building with a good selection of reasonably priced food). The icing on the cake on the final night of my stay was the smoke detector in the corridor outside my room which needed a new battery and announced this to the world with an annoying BEEP every few minutes all night. I am a gold Hilton honors member and this probably one of the worst Hiltons I have ever stayed in.

The Staff is outstanding and couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. Very good people, always smiling. The hotel in general is WAY dated. The room cleanliness was … bad. Unacceptably bad. The hotel is run down and in need of major renovation. It’s absolutely not worth the price being asked. The walk to the room concerned me, when I saw the room I knew it’d only be for a night. The property owner needs to make an investment - until then there are better places to stay.

From the moment I walked into this wonderful hotel, I was greeted by a remarkable, and energetic woman named Erica. A cab driver who just dropped me off tried to stiff me $80 for a quick ride from the airport (didn’t realize his meter was off the whole time and tried to get away with it). Erica made it a point to make sure I am safe, comfortable, and assisted me in handling the situation. She went above and beyond and I truly appreciate her. Another wonderful experience I have had is with a server named Michael. He is such a warming, kind, and patient waiter. I stayed for five days, and every single day I made sure I sat on his side of the tables. Continuously asked me if I needed anything and I was kind enough to make me a to go cup every single morning without me asking. He knew I was in a rush to go to work and that made my experience extra special. Thank you Hilton for hiring such a wonderful group of people. I will be returning for my next meeting.

I’ve stayed at this Hilton three times, with two of this stays occurring in the past two months. It’s always great returning here, the front desk staff - most especially Aimee - are always so accommodating. Felipe is a great bartender with a very impressive memory, and Rham in the morning is an attentive server as well. The grounds surrounding the hotel are very tranquil and the location provides easy access to the transit center and restaurants in downtown Stamford, the hotel lobby is beautiful, I love the beds, but many of the common areas and aspects of the guest rooms appear dated. I don’t hold that against the place though, the pros far outweigh the cons. Whenever I’m returning to the Connecticut Gold Coast or Westchester County, N.Y. areas, this hotel will remain my first choice for accommodations.

The hotel was great, the people working at the hotel are lovely, always welcoming and asking if I needed anything. The only thing if I needed to comment on is some of the fixtures were either not working or broken. Not a lot but just minor things. Room was clean, near the train station and fairly quiet considering its a large facility.

The Service at this hotel is phenomenal. The Hostess and wait staff at the Restaurant were delightful and the young lady at Starbucks makes the best latte plus greets everyone with a smile. The Rooms were average which was surprising for a Hilton. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

I went to Hilton Stamford on company business. The hotel overall was nice and well kept. Staff members I spoke with there were nice as well. I had an issue with billing that took a bit of time to figure out, but Myisha from Hilton Stamford was able to help me every step of the way, so shout-out to her! I was very impressed with her dedication to rectifying my situation (which was quickly resolved)! You're in good hands if you choose to stay here, 5/5 service!

Had a decent room, although it could use some upgrade. The breakfast does cost 25$ per person but it is pretty decent as US hotel breakfasts go. The service was very good at the hotel and the conference room they had for the LevelUp conference was nice. Good location within walking distance of train station.

I had a terrible experience in this hotel. The front desk staff was not very helpful. The rooms are incredibly dated with filthy carpet. I wouldn’t walk around in my socks much less barefoot. The first room I checked into smelled terrible and didn’t have accessible outlets near the bed. The plugs in the lamps didn’t work and I needed one for medical equipment. The desk clerk seemed annoyed by my request for a new room. The second room was only marginally better than the first. If it hadn’t been 1:00 am, I’d have left and tried to find another hotel. This hotel is not representative of the quality I expect and almost always find in Hilton properties.

The hotel is a great place to stay if you want to visit NYC but don't want to drive in. 40 train ride for 25$ return on the express route. A5 minute walk to the terminal from the hotel. The service was excellent and breakfast was good with plenty of options. Underground parking for 25$ a day is a plus. The rooms are nothing great, but very clean with comfortable beds. Slept great.

I enjoyed my stay overall, but what was most impressive was the restaurant manager, Sharon. She was most welcoming and hospitable. Her inviting Spirit and attention to detail warmed ny heart. Our conference attendees and I had memorable breakfasts and satisfying lunches under her leadership. I hope to come back again.

Convenient location right off 95 (stayed here while road tripping). This hotel is clean, dog-friendly ($100/stay), and has a parking garage and a big lobby with lots of seating and a coffee bar (serving Starbucks). The staff is very helpful and friendly. Special shoutout to Erika at the front desk who made us (and our dog) feel welcome. Erika treats every Hilton Honors member feel like royalty - she's the best!

First time staying at the Hilton in Stamford. We were generally impressed. Hotel was beautiful, decent and clean rooms, convenient location and great customer service. I specifically need to highlight the customer service at the hotel restaurant. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was excellent. Sharon, Michael and Ines provided exceptional customer service. They were consistently courteous, genuinely friendly, professional and attentive. In addition they accommadated my gluten intolerance. I will return when I am in the area!

Hi, I was greeted at the valet parking by a nice man “…from the Bronx”. He had this incredible can-do attitude about him. Then at reception, Andrew, took care of me. He was fantastic. The woman at the snack bar was awesome. So pleasant. Overall, the staff was great. It was an exceptionally busy time but the staff always had time to address my needs. Wish the hotel lobby bar had stayed open a little later but considering there was a recovering addicts conference at the hotel it was very understandable. The staff makes the hotel worth a good rating.

Stayed recently during a business trip and would recommend it for anyone looking for a hotel in Stamford. The staff was exceptional, specifically Erica, Sharon and Briana. Brand ambassador Annabelle even gifted me with Hilton Honor points! Tremendous service and hospitality!

I'd like to point out that I received excellent service , even with the hotel being super busy. I'd also like to say that Hilton really nailed it with their hire of Destiny at the Front Desk....she is the perfect blend of professional and sweet. I hope a promotion is in her future. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Stamford.
