I had one pork specials hot platter which included pork sausages, pork salami, meat loaf, bacon and fried eggs, and one hot chocolate. The sausages and bacon were a little more salty compared to the other dishes. The place had really good ambience, the service was great, and not to forget the amazing view of the rest of Darjeeling. All in all.. I had a really nice experience!

Very famous place in Darjelling as it's 100+ years old. Food quantity is good, not great. But the coffee here is really good. The open clock tower view is the main attraction here, but you can't have it because of a big tree that is blocking the view now. I would prefer the garden view as it has a open deck view now of the valley. Overall nice place but the long waiting queue is not completely worth it in my opinion.

This place is one of the iconic destinations of Darjeeling! Each and every tourist coming to Darjeeling already knows about it. This place has a beautiful ambience with Kanchenjunga at the backdrop. The service is good and to avoid the queue one have to reach early. Their must tries are: non veg platter, hot chocolate, Darjeeling tea, etc.. The place closes early in the evening, so it's most preferable for breakfast, brunch or evening snacks.

If you went to Darjeeling and didn’t visit Keventer’s, what did you do? 😅😂 This was my first time in Darjeeling and First time in Keventer’s. This place has a history of its own. Anyways, the food quality was good but it had a lot of salt in it. Too much salt. That ruined my experience. Anyway ms barring that, the food was top notch. Must visit this place rather than Glenary’s. You will enjoy your time and food here.

This place needs no introduction neither a review! it is the signature culinary destination of Darjeeling! the ambience, the food, the location, service and view all are at a benchmark level! indeed outstanding! Thank you Mr. Rahul (the owner) for allowing me to grab a table without waiting in the queue on 28.12.2021 morning for breakfast. We all really enjoyed. 😍❤️

"So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this gives life to thee." Perhaps these two lines from Sonnet 18 of Shakespeare are perfectly applicable for this glorious, ancient, eternal & everlasting food joint. Situated at the beginning of Darjeeling mall road, this restaurant provides the perfect breakfast for you. Amazing pork & chicken platter, heart warming hot chocolate & the gorgeous sunny side up fried egg- what more can you expect? The sandwiches are flavourful, the meatloaf is juicy & the service is to the mark. However, the place has a very limited sitting capacity, so you need to stand in a queue to get a seat. Bon appetit!

Absolutely wonderful food! Would highly recommend their chicken or pork platters. The quantity is enough for 2 people easily. The Darjeeling tea being served here is one of the best first flush teas I have ever had. The flavor and aroma of the tea is unbeatable. I would recommend sitting on the iconic Kev's balcony and enjoying the views while sipping on some warm tea! Also, they allow takeaways, so you can bring food back to your hotel as well.

Interior of the restaurant is awesome and ambient. Foods are mainly english breakfast but very much oily. Could not finish the foods as they were the worst of taste. You can go there for a visit or photo session. But do not order beyond your limit. ** This restaurant has pork menu. Be aware of it.

Better not to give any intro... Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Dinner.. enjoy any time... Surely enjoy the pork platter.... Darjeeling Tea, Hot chocolate.... Breakfast in open seating with a view if the Queen of Hills is probably the best experience.

This is one of the most popular breakfast joints of Darjeeling. Interior of the restaurant is awesome and ambient. Get the table on the deck outside for some amazing views of Mall road and the clock tower. The food quality and quantity are undoubtedly excellent. Try one of the platters with coffee/milkshake & don't forget to have the softies after your meal.

It was my first visit here, didn't know what to expect. I just want to start by saying that the location is good and ambience is pretty amazing. The food is okay. The burger tasted pretty good imo. Although the quality could be improved. It's well decorated with plants and has both open and covered eating places. Visit here if you want to grab snacks at a good but affordable place.

Lovely place, you get open air rooftop sitting, inside and another open air with shades above. We have chicken burger, french fries and the best Pork Platter 🥰 also a strawberry shake. Very reasonably priced. At a very good location. A must visit if you are in Darjeeling.

The place really lived up to its hype. The pork or the chicken platter at 380 is good enough to fill 2 people. The platter comes with sausages bacon salami and 2 egg pooch. We also tried the salami sandwich and hot chocolate. Both were really good. Try to get the table on the deck outside for some amazing views for Mall road and the clock tower. Morning breakfast is always the first choice for everyone. But if you don't get a table then try in the evening just before sunset for some breathtaking views. If you are lucky you can get a glimpse of the great kanchanjunga while sipping your hot chocolate

I might receive a lot of flak for saying this but Keventer's is grossly overhyped and overrated. You can get a lot better breakfast options (particularly English breakfast ones) here in Kolkata at various restaurants (Flurys, Dacres Lane, and Courting Coffees to name just a few). The people serving here are full of attitude and would make you think that they are doing you a great favour by serving you here. It is as if you are having food here for free. Some overrated products sell on brand alone and this is one such example. The sausages were not uniform in taste and most of them had bits and pieces inside which I think is the result of un-uniform meat blending. The sandwiches and tea are good to taste but then again, you can get them anywhere in Kolkata. The only positive aspect is the rooftop area that offers great views of the surrounding landscape.

When art, culture, tradition, and movies converge with colonial and culinary heritage, you find Keventer's—an icon of Darjeeling! A visit to Darjeeling is incomplete without indulging in their breakfast. Over the years, this establishment has consistently upheld quality, authenticity, and delicacy at an affordable price. I'm particularly fond of their hot chocolate, chicken and pork breakfast platters, bacon sandwich, pork hot dog, and ice creams. However, be prepared to wait in a long queue, with waiting times ranging from 30 to 60 minutes during rush hours, especially in the morning. If you aim for a seat in the old terrace (featured in many movies, including 'Kanchenjunga' by the legendary director Satyajit Ray), the waiting time will be even longer. Understandably, service slows down during peak hours. Nevertheless, I've visited during non-rush hours, like early evening, and enjoyed delicious food with prompt service and without any delays

This is one of the most popular breakfast joints of Darjeeling since the British era. We came here today and had Green Tea, Hot Chocolate (famous drink of this place), Bread Toast, and Chicken Platter (most famous). I had the Hot Chocolate and the Chicken Platter that tasted very very good. Service was quite slow but everything else was nice and the vibes too.

One of the best place to eat in Darjeeling. Almost anything tastes good here. But I love their platers, Hot Chocolate, Cofee and Darjeeling Tea. Having your breakfast and seeing Kanchenjunga in front wide and clear is an experience itself! If you are in Darjeeling you can't miss Keventer's.

Keventer's is another one of the must-visit places of Darjeeling. It has developed a cult following of sorts. We went there for breakfast, and were lucky to get a table immediately. We ordered ham, fried eggs, pork sausages, chicken sausages, cheese omelette, buttered bread, tea, and coffee. The meat items were tasty. The cheese omelette was overloaded with cheese, which I did not like. They could've done with less cheese. The tea and coffee were fine too. The pocket pinch was reasonable. Much better than Glenary's, for the same (or comparable) items. The service was quite slow, and that irritated us a bit. They took 10 minutes to bring 2 slices of bread!

This place is worth every penny. We Had breakfast on the new section. The view from there is better in my opinion. The food is also great and the price is very reasonable. Service was fast. We had pork & chicken platter, chicken salami sandwich and hot chocolate Shake. We ordered 2 platter 420rs/each and it's enough for two people. Highly recommended. For a group of 5 the pocket pinch was 395 per person. This place has premium vibe and is very neat & clean 👍

One of the heritage eateries of Darjeeling. Visited early morning for breakfast. Well managed queue with standard waiting time of 45 minutes. They allotted us to the open rooftop patio overlooking the beautiful hills without any fuss(special requests/ bookings). Polite, helpful staff and quick service. All in all a perfect Keventer's experience!

It’s one of the best places to hangout in Darjeeling…nostalgic and it’s always in a ruah and waiting time is somewhere around 30 minutes. Didn’t like the Chicken Platter but MUST TRY Hot Chocolate and Burger both are way too reasonable and sumptuous 🤍 apart from that try their Softy it’s creamy and delicious Pocket pinch-500 for 2

Ambiance and view were certainly impressive, I found myself disappointed with the overall experience. It was incredibly crowded, which made it difficult to enjoy the atmosphere. Despite this, I was excited to try the food. Unfortunately, it was only average at best. What really put a damper on the experience, however, was the price. I felt that the cost of the meal was litte high for what we received. If you're looking for a great meal at a reasonable price, you may want to look elsewhere.

Keventer's is famous for its traditional English breakfast. You can pamper your taste buds with a meal of sandwiches, sausages, salamis, ham and bacon, eggs. There are a plethora of choices for the chicken and pork lovers that would not pinch the pocket much. Over the years, Keventers became massively popular for its fresh dairy products like milk, butter, cheese, and other items- the brand is also credited for coming up with the unique design for the Cassata ice cream which is a favourite among Indians to this day. Personally I found it overhyped. The service is a bit slow. However, the food served was fresh & tasty as well as the ambience was also very good because of its location.

  • 5/5 Shamik L. 9 months ago on Google
Another must visit place for tourists. The English breakfast contained eggs, bacon, ham, sausages and was 330/-. We were 7 of us and ordered 7 English breakfast platter. The food was so good and delicious. The sausages especially. It was my first time visiting there and it was worth it.

  • 4/5 Parna T. 9 months ago on Google
If you are in Darjeeling then this place should be there in your list to have English breakfast and most importantly softy(ice-cream). The ambiance was too good. The only disadvantage of this place is that you have to wait in a queue also the people who are serving are arrogant. The only tip I can give to them is that they should be friendly with their customers.

A must go place if you're visiting Darjeeling. And must try dishes are Sausages (which they make their own) and hot chocolate. I could I've missed it. We didn't have to wait for long. We ordered chicken sausages with fried eggs, egg sandwich, hot chocolate, vanilla shake and vanilla softy. Amazing decoration, amazing view and amazing ambience with quality food.

The most awaited place to visit on my bucket list. Our homestay was far from Kev's also a driver didn't show up at the right time of the day but still I was very determined to visit so I just opened the Google map and started walking. it was about 1.8 km away from our stay. Anyway it's very very easy to locate , you just hit the mall road and you see Kev's. Many people told me that there is a long queue all the time especially in the season, but I was lucky. I went there and it wasn't really crowded. Had to wait in the queue for five minutes. What I ordered - 1. Sausage bacon ham and eggs fried - it's a platter. A really good platter for those who cannot eat too much at one go. So excited to order the pork platter but didn't as we weren't too many pax. Or was a decent choice. Amongst all of them the pork sausage was the best. 2. Chicken meat loaf and eggs fried - Decent choice too. Well I had to order some chicken items as my mother was trying pork for the first time lol! She was really scared that she'd like it or not but ended up loving it!! 🫣🫣 Anyway the chicken meatloaf was a bit salty. 3. Hot chocolate shake - enough in quantity. Basically you'll need it when you're in Darjeeling. I wore a jacket and started to feel so hot after having it! 🥵 Delicious too. A must visit place. Also there's a beautiful view of the mountain from the rooftop. Kev's you have my heart! I mean, what else could be better than sipping chocolate shakes in front of a mountain? ❤️

Keventer's is known for a reason. We reached the place at around 8:15 and already all chairs were occupied! There is two types of seating , open and closed. The open type offers great views of the mountains. On a clear day you can see the majestic Kanchenjunga from the roof. The food is good, we had English breakfast with lots of sausages. The quantity is great. Highly recommended

A popular choice for breakfast while at Darjeeling. We had English breakfast and it was nice. The restaurant got good view (if you choose open dining) and service. But it is usually very busy during morning and you have to wait in a queue for a very long time. So I will recommend you to reach the restaurant very early in the morning .

Lip smacking food. The place is a must try if you are visiting Darjeeling. Extremely pocket friendly. Their pork platter and shakes are a must try.

  • 4/5 Subhadip D. 3 years ago on Google
Umm for the platter yes. For the roof top sitting and getting the view absolutely. The food is great. There signature dish is hot chocolate which I have grown taste for otherwise you can choose any drink they have. Now the view is main. You can see Kanchanzongha from the roof and enjoy your food not and issue unless the weather does some mischief and the whole view go dissolved by fog. And that's not there problem. Anyway a must visit of you are in Darjeeling.

  • 5/5 Deepjit D. 3 years ago on Google
Amazing food quality. The pork platter was pure ecstasy. Highly recommend pork over chicken. The best seat in the house would definitely be the terrace. The view of the Kanchanjunga made the food inch perfect.
