Excellent place that’s packed with history! It also offers a beautiful view of the city from its tower!

We visited this place quite late of the day, but we managed to visit the church. Very quaint church right in the square of the city of Delft. It was impromptu when we decided to go inside and there is no wait at all. Very historic place in which you will find most of the notable person of Delft.

The climb up the tower was not really enjoyable. But the view at the top of the tower on a good day is well worth the 4.5 euros entrance fee. You get to see the surrounding and even Rotterdam from the top.

Scariest experience of my life, giving it 5 stars so it doesn't haunt me in my dreams. Truly for the brave warriors, be prepared, stairs are steep and with big gaps. Anyway..very nice view!

The view is amazing ! You can climb to the top of the church and go all around. They are some landing so you can see the mechanism of the clock and the old bells. Just be prepare for the stairs, it takes a little time and effort if you’re not use to it The inside of the church is beautiful as well

Beautiful church, in day and night, inside and out, the clock is not accurate but its sound is very pleasant to hear. For the tower; around 375 steps to climb in a narrow stairs but when you reach there, you will enjoy the 360 scenery. Beautiful sight. Worth the steps.

Really cool place! Visit to the top of the tower costs 4,5 EUR (3,5 EUR for students). The spiral stairs is steep and long but the view is worth it. I liked the souvenir shop: cute Dutch merchandise with good price. The staff is friendly and polite.

Staff lovely and very helpful, speaking flawless English to us non-Dutch, and the church itself as beautiful inside as out. The displays, films and very modern "information highway" set-up may not be to everyone's taste but told us casual day-trippers all we needed to know about this fantastic living monument to Dutch religious and social history.

Lots to see here! Visit the tower for wonderful views and terrifying stairs! It also has the gentleman who invented this country, he seems nice.

I thought the informational tour inside the church was really good. Also interesting to be able to see the excavation work happening inside.

This review is focused on the tower of the church and does not concern the church itself which is a very nice place of Dutch history. Getting back to the tower, I would not recommend visiting to people with claustrophobia. The staircase and the corridors are very tight and the staff does not inform you of this before hand. Moreover, too many people are allowed in the tower at once, making the experience even more crowded and unpleasant. The price is ok, but being denied access to the toilet if you only have a tower pass is unacceptable since your hands will get very dirty when climbing the stairs and holding the railing and the steps above you. Overall, the experience is worth it only for the views, but the other unpleasant factors make the visit not a must do around Delft. As a final note, the toilet situation needs to be solved by the owners, like building an extra toilet at the entrance, or delimiting the access to the toilets in the church by making a corridor for the tower visitors.

Delft's most centrally located church, at the Markt right across from City Hall. At 650 years old, 'new' is relative to the 850 year Old Church. Entrance tickets are valid for both of these, about 7 mins walking apart. When the weather is good, the view from the spire is definitely worth a climb (separate ticket required, and due to the steep, narrow stairs not recommended for everyone though). Currently featuring archeological digs due to planned expansion of the royal crypt.

It's nice to learn something about the history of the Netherlands and its people. It was my first time to visit the church, we bought a combi ticket to visit the old and new church, also you get to experience going up to the tower and have a 360 view of Delft.

Located in the city center of Delft, this place is a prominent Protestant church which was built around 1381 to 1496 and is one of the oldest buildings in this lovely city. The cathedral is renowned for being the final resting place of several Dutch royal family. Its tower is distinctively high, at around 108 m and also a prominent feature of Delft skyline. The church has witnessed many historical significance and now serves as a venue for great concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events. A must-go destination for visitors if visiting Delft.

Beautiful calm place to visit on a Museum tour , William of Orange Mausoleum here. Unbelievable opulent Marble Sculpture.

It is worth climbing up. However, it requires a lot of effort. Also, the stairs are very narrow, making it a bit difficult with people going up and down at the same time, but the view is stunning.

Church built in the medieval age. This has been partly demolished twice in the history and rebuild. One can notice the rebuilding at different time periods from the upper structure of the church.

Gentleman at the desk was helpful and friendly. The climb up the tower gave way to an amazing view! If you are not good in tight spaces you will want to pass. Beautiful church, and wonderful view of the city and beyond! You must visit!

The best bell tower we've ever visited! The cathedral itself is also rich in history.

Excellent church to check out. New is from 1500s. Lots of history. One can climb to the top for some great views.

Climb to the top was a bit tiring but the views were spectacular. The staircase is very narrow and you will have to mind your head - there are places where you will have to duck slightly in order to get to the next step. Also, tickets to the church and tower can be purchased separately. So you can choose to just visit the church and avoid climbing to the top of the tower.

Had a short visit (15 minutes) on "open monumentendag 2022". The church has a lot of history. Royal family members are buried to this church. All of the explanations are in Dutch and English. It would take at least two hours to fully explore. Public toilet is available. Will definitely pay another visit when I have more time.

An important church located in the center of Delft. It stands tall in front of the stadhuis and markt square. The interiors of the church simple and beautiful.

An amazing church! You can go inside and view Delft from the top of the church. Climbing the top will take a little long though, but its totally worth it. I recommend to visit this church when you’re in Delft.

Good place to chill, lots of people enjoy life here under the sunshine. Sitting in a cafe, having an ice cream on the bench, walking dogs, talking, and having fun, very comfortable

Stairs are short and not made for anyone above 6ft. That being said, it was a great experience. The view is beautiful, with the skylines of Den Haag and Rotterdam in the distance, and Markt right in front of you. Students get a discount on tickets!

Beautiful architecture and pipe organ. One price gets you into the Old and New Church. We went to both and had a cheerful welcome both places. Check website for concerts. History of the royal family is also interesting.

Very reasonably priced at €10 per adult for the new and old church and to go up the tower. The tower is nearly 400 steps, there are lockers to leave your stuff before you climb up, be warned only one way up and down, so can be a tight squeeze if people are passing, there are three viewing platforms at different levels, the two highest are quite narrow, there is also a stop where the bells are, I really enjoyed this, despite being afraid for heights, but may not be for you if you can’t to heights/narrow spaces. The church is beautiful with lots of info inside

8 euros admission to visit the New Church and its bell tower, as well as the Old Church, absolutely worth it! It is very well preserved and very respectful to their history, it made quite an impression on us. You can climb up the bell tower , it gives you a great view ( it is worth the trouble). It was a wonderful experience in Delft .

Although called the Nieuwe Kerk (Church), this church is centuries old having construction dating back to the fourteenth century. Purchasing one ticket gives you entry to both churches. Two notable things about this church. 1. The crypt. Like the Oude Kerk (Old Church, built a 1000 years ago), this church has graves spread out inside the church. But, the interesting part is that the church houses a crypt where members of the royal family are laid to rest. It's a weird feeling. It's a graveyard and a church at the same time. You can't go into the crypt, but you can stand outside it and watch videos of it played on the big screen. 2. The tower climb. This 380-steps-odd climb along a mix of narrow wooden and stone spiral stairwells will lead you to a fantastic panaromic view of the city of Delft. From here, you'll be able to appreciate the red roofed houses and buildings lining the canals. You can even see Den Haag from the topmost tower.

Really beautiful church with a very well laid out series of displays and videos that tell you the history of Delft, the church and famous people buried within. The highlight for my kids was the church tower all 376 narrow winding steps of it. 376 was validated by my 11 year old daughter as she counted every single one. The views at the 3/4 point and at the top are worth the climb. I highly recommend the combo ticket that gets you the old church, new church and the church tower.

The church is very nice and what I loved most was the guiding materials everywhere, gives a very concise history of the Netherlands.
