It is ancient Lykian city built in 2nd century AD. You can see several temples, ruins of a church and of course the ancient theater. The site can be reached from Fethiye - Kas highway and an additional 10km into villages. There is not many things to see as most of the buildings are only ruins. It is a world heritage site, entrance fee is 12 Turkish liras, free under age of 18. Parking is available.

Thls is the main site you should visit. The other part of the site which has a smaller but nicer amphitheater is within 10 mln. drive

Turkish ruins are okay, but not well-preserved. The descriptions are detailed. 50tl

The entrance is 50TRL, totally worth it! It’s a beautifully preserved sight of a great ancient city. The amphitheater is being excavated, it’s incredible to see such beautifully preserved and restored chairs and pillars. The city dates back to 2 century BC, and used to be a local religious center. The sight also features three ancient temples dedicated to Artemis, Apollo, Lycia and one Byzantine one.

Nice place but nothing more to see beyond the entrance. A bit difficult to imagine that after all these agricultural roads there is a significant ancient city. No special documentation apart from a general book on Lycia, the same edition I bought 20 years ago. Anyway the Lycian cities are magnificent and the authorities should treat it more seriously...

The UNESCO World Heritage site of Letoon consists of a theater and 3 ancient temple structures. Worthwhile to visit while in the region.

"The Mediterranean" Card -which you can use in Xanthos and Patara-, isn't valid here, because in another province.

An important temple city of Lycian Civilization. Excavations and restorations are still going on. Alwsys worth a visit.

Lots of parking, easy to find. Easy to walk around. Lots of information boards in English and Turkish. Some good photos opportunities. Lots of shops nearby if you need a snack or drinks. Not as good as Patara or Tlos in our opinion, but srill worth a visit. Loads of dragonflies when we were there.

Really small place. The theater and a few ruins of temples. There are better ancient cities in Turkey.

An important Lycian city and capital of the United cities of Lycia. They're famous for defying the Persian empire.

Ancient city, excavation for a moment stopped. There are few preserved ancient buildings: amphitheatre and Leto temple.

Letoon is changing, restoration is taking place, areas can be seen from a distance but not up close as there are fenced off areas. Frogs and terrapins can still be spotted in the water areas. There are toilets and buildings which look like they may be used in the future, a cafe and shop units. Parking is plentiful.

Very easy to get to. Right off the main road, parking lot open and free. Admission 25TL pp (or muze pass). WCs are excellent, stocked (with soap even!), clean, functioning. There is a model of the site right there; always appreciated to know what you're going to see before you see it. Easy to see the ruins in closeup detail, paths smooth and clean, wide open, signage describing what you're looking at. Theater arch entryways are unique and interesting (and survived earthquakes: not much else did). Active renovation work going on. You can see how they are piecing the site together, rock by rock, with new concrete insert pieces. Zero shade, bring water. Likely ~1hr is all you need to see it all.
