I’ve been coming here since I was a kid after moving up to Colorado from Atlanta Georgia I always liked coming here and seeing the old airplanes and other aircraft that they have here I noticed when I was here on the 23rd of September of this year that this place has changed significantly since I was here ten years ago and that it looks a lot better than when I first started coming here back in the early 2000s and what I mean by that statement is that back then I noticed that the building had a more run down look to it unlike now where it looks more modern but also that was back in the early 2000s the place had been abandoned by the U.S. Air Force a little over 10 years prior I also noticed that some things were missing like the astronaut hanging from the ceiling and the glider that looked like a giant bird I also noticed that the museum is only in one of the two hangars I don’t understand why they didn’t have it in both and build a rectangular building down the center of both buildings connecting them and having an even bigger museum but whatever it doesn’t matter the flight simulator was incredible other than the 12 dollars it cost to ride it the x wing was really cool to see back when I first started coming here I remember there was an older lady who was at the gift shop I don’t remember her name but i always remember her being very friendly with me and my mom And while on that subject the gift shop back then had much better stuff unlike when I went this past time where it looked like it was full of just regular generic stuff you would see at just about any gift shop the only thing that looked appealing to me was the die cast hot wings planes I even bought one of the die cast planes I ended up getting the space shuttle but I guess you don’t go to museums for the gift shops but for the exhibits other than that it was a good experience I bought a. Membership so I’m definitely planning on returning hopefully with my two younger brothers who have never been here before but I know they would enjoy it just as much as I do this place honestly made me remember how much I love aviation

There is a plethora of information and an impressive display of aircraft at the museum. The volunteer staff have a great deal of knowledge are are very friendly. I have to say that since I have been to other museums (Pima in Tuscon & the Smithson in DC) I cannot say this is the best I have experienced. I know that this is a great collection for our location so I am rating it 5 stars. Very interesting & informative for all ages ..... I loved it!

I went to the museum or specifically for the candle light concert, that was happening inside hangar 2 of the airfield museum. I find it very clean and lovely. We were able to see part of the museum and airplane's. It was very clean, warm and well maintained. I definitely find it interesting and I would definitely visit the museum Only. Great experience overall.

Went on a Monday. Plenty of volunteers there for information but almost no visitors. We took our time and read through all the displays as well as were able to really look at the aircraft. Gift shop is small but well stocked and there are several flight simulators which require payment. Mostly contains military aircraft but has a good smathering of others. Some really interesting planes here. You can easily spend several hours here.

Lots of very cool aircraft, both real and fictional. There's also an introduction video by Harrison Ford and some simulators! This museum is especially good if you're in to the historical background of the aircraft.

I'd never been here until yesterday, even though I grew up in Colorado. What a COOL museum! So many amazing planes representing so many moments in time. All preserved in a magnificent hanger. Definitely check it out!

We loved this place! Air and space exhibits, the great videos narrated by Harrison Ford were awesome too. So many planes from first flight to space flight. Bombs...and a simulator where you can pick a plane and fly it. You can even try combat missions. They were hosting kids teaching them to fly drones...I have a feeling there is always something going on there. BIG shout out to the volunteers! They were full of passion and information.

It’s a place to go when you are in Colorado. First and foremost, the wings at Wings Over Rockies left an indelible impression on my taste buds. The flavors were exquisite, and the perfect balance of seasoning made each bite a delightful revelation. I must commend your talented kitchen staff for their culinary expertise. Beyond the culinary delights, the atmosphere of your establishment is nothing short of remarkable. The attention to detail in the decor and layout creates an ambiance that is both inviting and comfortable. The knowledgeable and friendly staff further enhance the experience, providing excellent service that is second to none. Moreover, I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness and organization throughout the premises. From the entrance to the dining area, everything was immaculate, ensuring a pleasant environment that truly enhances the overall dining experience. Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude for the promptness and efficiency in arrangements. Despite the popularity of your establishment, the wait time was minimal, a testament to the excellent management skills of your team. All in all, Wings Over Rockies exceeded my expectations in every aspect. I highly recommend this extraordinary place to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. Thank you for providing a haven for wing enthusiasts.

Omg truly Amazing, from the second I arrived to to the time I left I don't I have ever enjoyed anywhere as much. The volunteers here were absolutely pleasant and so knowledgeable. There is so much to see here its hard to believe it all fits in. But it does and the Star wars XWing with R2D2 is truly amazing and great fun. If I remember anything from my trip to Denver this will be this.thank u everyone I hope to someday I can return. A must see 10/10

What an amazing performance! If you get the chance, absolutely go! My wife is a cellist and I’m a bassist and as musicians, we loved the talent every member of the quartet brought to the table. They all had their own features and their own moments they took the lead. It was all impeccable! Great intros and humor from the quartet members, the phenomenal acoustics of the airplane hangar, and the delicate ambiance of the candlelight made this an experience to remember. We loved it!

Decent place to spend a few hours if you've got them free. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to see it, but the time spent inside was nice. There were a ton of volunteers inside, which was nice. They also have a little space area, which we really liked. I think your typical grandfather would live this place, but your kids might not have the same amount of fun or appreciation.

So great for everyone! The early aircraft here help you appreciate all the modern advances. I really appreciate that. They describe the basics of a jet engine, and principles such as left in a way that was really easy to understand. I felt like I left a Museum with new knowledge and not just a fun experience… but I did have lots of fun, too. The admission price was well worth it. The staff is friendly and the bathrooms were clean. Easy parking.

Visited this space during an event and was blown away by how aesthetic this place is! Lots to tour and learn about in all the ages of air aviation in Colorado. Definitely a place worth stopping by. They also host events with live music or private parties which would be cool to attend. Lots of space tucked away in a seemingly suburban neighborhood with nice restaurants nearby for drinks afterwards as well!

This place has a pretty good collection of planes. The hard part is having been to the Air and Space Museum in Chantilly it's hard to compare. The one plane that I thought was so awesome to see not only up close, but was able to go under and look into the bomb bays of the B1! That along with the B-52 out front are what I thought were the best things to check out.

Amazing!!! Lots to see and read about. Spent almost 2 hours and didn’t see everything. The ‘old timers’ were very helpful. They were patient and took their time to talk to us.

I went here on a Thursday and really did not have to wait due to purchasing the tickets through City Pass. Additionally, they gave me an additional 10% discount on all gift shop items with purchasing tickets through City Pass. The Museum rhas many different variations of planes and models that were cool to view. If you fully immerse yourself in the experience, it should take about 2 hours to complete. Overall, I would I highly recommend to everyone to visit as it was a great learning experience. Great Job! Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum.

Great place and nice variety. It’s has an especially nice under 10 kids room. There were signs up telling people to ask a volunteer for assistance to see the inside of different cockpits, but that is only on Saturdays. It would be nice if the sign stated that or it was more than just one day a week. Awesome history and tons of information.

We attended a concert called "Candlelight: A Tribute to Taylor Swift at Wings Over the Rockies Air Museum". The venue was super unique. We had a chance to visit the museum before the concert. Great hangar showcasing various aircraft. The live musical performance was magical, the musicians were extremely talented. All the candles made it exceptional.

Great museum and very well put together, great staff and informative displays with static displays. Worth every penny of the ticket. Wish we could have stayed longer. Kids loved it. Some of the displays have QR codes to scan where you can have some videos/info on the planes .

This is such a great museum. I took my husband for Fathers Day and we spent 3 hours here. There are so many things to see. They have a really great childrens area and an amazing gift shop. Definitely a must see. There are also plenty of fun things to do around here as well and many great restaurants.

Not as large as some air and space museums, but a good little selection. Great staff and a very clean facility, with reasonable prices for tickets. The only downside is the aircraft are so packed together, it's hard to see all the way around each one. There's no food, but there is a beer garden and ice cream next door.

A well put together aviation museum. Some of the displays weren't working when we visit, but the aircraft were all intact and really cool to see up close. The staff was amazing, willing to field questions and share stories about the aircraft, the pilots, and the history of the air station. It was certainly worth the drive to get there. As I mentioned before, some stuff needed repair, but I got the feeling the issue was more budgetary than a lack of passion.

Very descent air museum, has some very cool aircraft in display. The city pass makes it very cheap to visit many local museums in the Denver area. The simulator is fun and very cheap. The display aircraft are awesome and would be nice to see their cockpits, not all are available. Takes a couple of hours to check it out.

Overall was a great experience. Biggest downside was there was no cockpits in actual planes for kids to sit in. We were doing the ask for a tour to look at a cockpit and weren’t given any info and were just rushed because a line developed pretty quickly. My kids were super disappointed. They did have the kids playroom which made up for some of the things. As an adult I enjoyed the experience. Shout out to the volunteers with the origami frogs.

This place was so much fun. This is the second time I've been there in the last 30 days. I didn't know about this place. It was by chance that it came up when I googled something else. I definitely think they need to advertise more. I would definitely compare it to the space and air museum in DC and the one outside of town in Virginia the Steven f. Udar-Hayes Center. It also has some really cool stuff with Star wars because Harrison Ford is one of their donors I believe. It was super super fun! I will definitely be going back and their gift shop was awesome. They had little diecast airplanes for $2.50 that the kids loved!

Excellent place to go with the family. This museum has a ton of aircraft to include some iconic platforms that are super neat to get close to. I recommend bringing snacks and water if you have kids, the place is huge and no real snack bar. Make sure you park in the museum parking and not the Extra Space Storage parking lot.

Admission was a little higher than I'm used to seeing for air and space museums. Was a good experience though for what there was to do and see. 3d flight simulator was a nice way to round out the day for an added cost. While most air and space museums that have simulators, this cost was far more reasonable and made up for the higher than normal admission.

I have done several Fundraising events at this location and am extremely pleased with the staff that works the events. They are kind and courteous. This venue can accommodate several hundred people and give them a fun time in exploring the location and looking at all of the planes in the hanger.

A fair experience for those that are mechanical nerds. Not a premium experience but if you have a short while maybe an hour or two at the most is needed. Its focused subject so attendees must be prepared for that

It was an incredible experience. I attended a private event. It was an excellent venue! All the staff was great. Everyone was engaging and knowledgeable. I saw display of items I had only seen in private collections before. I would make it a point to visit.

What a great exhibit. I'm only giving 4 stars because the mezzanine wasn't open so I could look down on the F-14. My first love. There were several planes we hadn't seen before and a good variety oof fighters, bombers, experimental. And it wasn't really crowded during the week so it was easy to take pictures. The staff was very informative. Easy parking.

Took the family for the day. There is a lot to look at, more so if you have an interest in air and space. Daughter got a little bored, till we did the simulator. You have to pay extra for it, but it was worth it! They have a nice give shop too, lots of science items that she is really into.

This was a calming, yet invigorating experience that kept me enchanted for the whole 60 minutes. If you enjoy Vivaldi's 4 Seasons at all, this unique candlelight concert in the Air & Space Museum does not disappoint! Be sure to arrive early enough to check out the museum. We were pleasantly surprised to see an X-wing fighter amidst the exhibits. TIPS: If sitting is a challenge, bring a cushion as the chairs are not comfortable. Be sure to arrive early, the concert starts at exactly 9:15, and the lights go out at that moment.

Formal air museum with lots to see and the info boards have just the right level of details. The tv screens were not working on a couple of displays which was unfortunate. The one in the Colorado National Guard kills your neck and the seat isn’t in a place where you can sit and watch the super long but very good info video. There is a massive space in the middle of the hangar which was actually pretty nice as it made it feel like you could breath in amongst the vast amount of airplanes. I did feel that they would have done well to have a beverage outlet with seating- this would be very successful and give visitors time to relax and hydrate with maybe a naughty cake to make the day even more fun. Different learning styles for adults would have made this 100% 5*s as I feel this is a 4.7. A couple of docents interacting at one or two planes would have been good. We went to Wings over the Rockies Exploration and enjoyed that experience there. They also had the cafe experience. Maybe a docent with a section of an engine and actually teaching some basic mechanics at an experiential station…. Loved the cleanliness of the museum

This is a hidden jem. Everything from a B1-B to old biplane. It fills an entire hanger. We were there on Aviation Day. So there were extra volunteers around. All very knowledgeable.

Outstanding museum, really neat going through the history of aviation from birth to present day. My son loved the gifts I got him from the toy shop and the pictures from all exhibits. Can't wait to take my family with me next time we're out that way.

Awesome aviation museum. Good spot for kids and plenty of interesting stuff to see from space to fighters to military history. The staff is also fantastic. My top aircraft here are the tomcat, corsair, prowler, and sabre

5 star rating on the exhibits. But -1 star rating on the flight simulator. The museum is open until 5:00pm. Upon entering, we paid for admission and asked about tickets to the flight simulator. The clerk said we purchased flight simulator tickets at the flight simulator. NO ONE TOLD US THAT THR FLIGHT SIMULATOR CLOSED AT 4:00PM. So, we tried to get on the flight simulator at 4:00pm and they told us it was closed. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO SIGNAGE AND NOTHING SAID WHEN WE SPECIFICALLY ASKED ABOUT THE RIDE BEFOREHAND.

I recommend giving yourself at least 3 hours to view and explore everything. Worth the cost! Great little beer garden with lots of food options next door!
