Filthy run down rooms from top to bottom! If you don't agree then you have not stayed at a nice Hampton Inn. The manager should be ashamed, the owners should be run out of town. Whole place needs a complete renovation. Very dated hotel. Never would've expected this from Hampton Inn, especially with all the newer hotel choices close by. Second time staying at Hampton Inn in metro Denver, both bad experiences. Definitely last time for me. At Cherry creek this round, a great staff member Augustus did his best under sold out conditions to accommodate, but just very low grade older hotel. I thought being in an exclusive. neighborhood it would be top notch, but not the case at all. Could not wait to wake up and leave! A few pics ans short summary, doesn't even tell the story. Stains everywhere, worn out room, disgusting bathroom, broken poorly botched tile repair in shower. This was there nicest room, mind you! King Suite with mountain view balcony.

Hampton Inns are one of my go-to hotels. After recent experiences, I'm rethinking that, especially after my experience at this hotel. Housekeeping was not good at all, in fact, it was horrible. I checked into my room to find an absolutely filthy desk chair. The worst part about that was neither the maintenance person who exchanged the chair or the hotel manager who I showed the attached photo to appeared nearly as stunned as I was to find a chair in such condition. Also, there were no amenities outside of one bar of soap. Almost each of the seven nights I was there, I had to ask for amenities to be replenished. They do not offer housekeeping unless you request it and even then, I had to twice request the one day of service I asked for. The bathrooms are poorly designed and way too small. The overhead light is midway over the shower and behind the room door. The shower curtain is hung on a rod that is angled in such a way that the curtain slides to the middle of the rod and does not stay closed. The beverage containers in the lobby did not have beverages on five afternoons. The employees were, for the most part, indifferent. While none were blatantly rude, I did not encounter one employee worthy of compliment. Breakfast was good - one of the few Hampton Inns who still offer oatmeal, wifi was good and elevator service was good. I won't be staying here on future trips to Denver. REPLY TO OWNER'S REPLY: I have shared everything with you either in person or in this review. I have nothing more to add. If I thought you were serious about making corrections, I would be happy to contact you (you also have my contact info from registration; why not reach out to me?). However, reading down your Google reviews, it seems this chair is an ongoing issue - and no correction. Canned replies don't serve Hilton well. OWNER DELETED THEIR REQUEST TO HAVE ME CONTACT THEM AFTER I POSTED THIS REPLY TO THEM. HILTON? YOU MUST DO A BETTER JOB! PSST: THERE ARE OTHER HOTELS OUT THERE!

Would stay again. There are some rough reviews of this place, but that wasn’t my experience. Nothing extraordinary about my stay, but pleasant. Hotel is a little older but seems well maintained. Breakfast was nice: Scrambles eggs, potatoes, cereal, muffins, bagels, fruit, oatmeal, juice, and coffee. I arrived around 11pm and was greeted promptly.

The stay was good, the breakfast was okay, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the desk chair was stained in awful places, it should've been replaced a long time ago. But the bed was comfortable and the rest of the room/bathroom very clean. I liked the shower head, and shelves in the bathroom. No vent in the bathroom that turned on, so the humidity had to escape into the room after showering. It was fine, I would stay again no problem..

I am quite bothered by my stay here. It did not start off on a great note and it isn’t ending on a great note either. Let me preface by saying my wife is a Hilton employee (not this location). On Friday I came to check in and was greeted by 2 friendly gentlemen. Once the gentleman looked up my reservation he excused himself to ask his manager if he was allowed to check me in without my wife present. A very rude woman came out of the office and informed me that I could not check in without my wife present. I simply asked why and was rudely told because it was a team member reservation. I was a little taken back by her attitude towards me since I did not have one in any way. I said fine and left. Later that night I brought my wife in so we could check in and it went smoothly. The last 2 nights were fine. Augustus was an absolute gem at night! He was so kind and helpful each time we spoke with him! I can not speak any more highly of him. Unfortunately that would be the best part of our stay. At breakfast this morning, which was mediocre, staff was not so kind. One breakfast attendant closed the doors on myself and other guests while we were still getting food and drinks. While I finished my breakfast my wife went to the front desk to check us in for our 3rd night. We originally were going to stay for 2 but decided to stay one more. After I finished I walked up to the desk and asked my wife is everything was alright and was greeted by yet another rude employee, Mr. Chris. He was talking poorly about another employee and was rude to me when I asked him why he was charging us more than our room rate (deposit was already paid). He claimed the system would not allow him to change it and that is “taxes” even though the taxes are included in our booking. I truly don’t understand how or why you can be so nasty to your guests and a fellow team member. But I do know that I will not be staying here again. Nor will I recommend this place to anyone..

Hotel was not terrible but it wasn't the nicest either - especially for the price. This was the first hotel where the front desk clerk didn't offer us our diamond member snack bag & water... We decided to get a Mountain View room - king bed with snacks and drinks. When we got there, no one explained that we get a $15 allotment for snacks & drinks - so we got up to our room and there was nothing. so we didnt get our 15 dollars worth until the next morning when i mentioned it but the guy at the front desk was really helpful and cool about it. and the mountain view was not really considered a Mountain view- i would've been fine with a non-mountain view room. Bathroom is small, the door opens into the bathroom and misses the toilet by 1 inch. Gym was small but it was ok for a hotel. breakfast was good but not many options. Omelets should be egg only. maybe offer other meats besides pork. overall, it was ok. All staff were really friendly and nice - no complaints there. as far as location, we didn't do much around there so i have no feedback.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! The manager Anissa and the supervisor Jasmine were absolutely horrible!!! I prepaid for my 2 night reservation and I understood that it was non-refundable. I was not able to arrive on the first night of the reservation but I called the 888 number and told them I would be arriving a day late. When I tried to check in, Jasmine informed me that they put me in as a no show and cancelled my reservation. I told them that I had called to inform them that I would not be there the first night. Whoever I talked to did not make a note of it, which is not on me, it’s their mistake!!!! Anissa and Jasmine told me that rooms were available but I would have to make a new reservation and pay more!! This makes no sense at all since I already paid for 2 nights. I was not disputing the non refundable policy. I just wanted the room I already paid for. Anissa and Jasmine did not act like human beings at all!! They were not understanding or willing to acknowledge that there was a mistake on Hiltons end. Anissa and Jasmine were completely unwilling to resolve the issue!! I am a Hilton Honors member but with the way I was treated I will never ever stay at a Hilton property again. Anissa and Jasmine need customer service training asap and act like human beings!

Standard Hampton Inn... but degraded from years of use. Decent location for amenities, just needs some renovation to get back to expected level of quality. Mainly in the minor details you could see the years of use or just where maintenance needs to be increased. Hot tub needs to be resurfaced (really rough) and rooms updated. Seemed to have a bit of a supply shortage problem with no soap being available for the rooms. Would recommend not being on the east side of the building, for due to neighboring buildings cause light to be reflected in unpleasant ways. On the upside, staff was very friendly and tried where they could.

Dated, dirty and overpriced. CONCRETE beds, one had a stain on the comforter. Fire alarm pulled at 3am by a homeless person but took a while to find out what was going on. Worst Hampton Inn. We planned to stay two nights but left after one night. Not that it's important, but the TV and remote must be from 2002.

STAY AWAY. I waited for 3 hours to get a room (no one even offered me a glass of water). The room I got was in horrible condition. It had stains on the wall, stains on the bed, all the furniture was either banged or scratched. When I told the front desk about it, they said that they will "let maintenance know". Shower had mold and rust. the staff was absolutely rood, and being sarcastic about the situation, even offering me to' "take my begs and sleep elsewhere if I want". A motel experience for an overrated price. Definitely will not be going back to ANY Hampton's.

Our flight got in early so we attempted to check in early and thought that Hampton Inn was accommodating but we were wrong And we're very bluntly turned away and told to come back and that it maybe would be cleaned by 3:30 p.m. very disappointing since we were the only ones there requesting an early check-in and I can't see why they couldn't clean the place for us at that time and we would wait for them to clean ours first. Other hotels have done this when there's an exceptional situation. Also they charge for parking each night which I guess I've never heard of at a Hampton Inn. The pool needs to be refinished redone and brightened up with some plants or some lights It's very dark and dirty In fact we were the only ones that used the hot tub for our entire 4-day stay which is a sign that it's not very good. Breakfast was subpar and I had to succumb to the oatmeal since none of the other hot food was edible. Housekeeping is apparently at request now and there's only one housekeeper apparently available. Our room accumulated with dirty towels and garbage and nobody was cleaning it for us unless we would request it We requested clean towels at the desk and nobody offered to clean our room for us. There is no clean fresh water for us to enjoy except during breakfast. Previous Hampton inns that I've been staying at have a big dispenser of clean fresh water with fruit in it near the coffee and we would have appreciated that versus having to fill our water bottles with tap water using a paper cup. Even a drinking fountain with a water bottle dispenser would have been very appreciated but they do not have that.. . This Hampton Inn is not the same quality as other Hampton inns.

The room was totally overpriced plus charged extra for parking which is unsecured and apparently the monitoring system is just as outdated as the the rest of the hotel because my car was stolen from the front of their parking lot directly outside of the lobby. I am requesting my stay be fully refunded and I will never be coming to denver again. Such a disappointment and nightmare

I just stayed here for a week, and would recommend this hotel to anybody. The room I was in wasn’t anything special but nice and clean and well kept. The staff are what made this hotel for me. Staff and service were 12/10. If you’re lucky you’ll get Doug at the front desk, give that guy a raise! The breakfast is better than most hotel included breakfasts in my opinion. Great lobby area to relax. Fair priced. Pool and hotel were nice as well.

The hotel was clean and had a balcony room. One of the lights wasn't working outside, and my toaster didn't work either. They only have one washer at the moment, and it took me 4 cycles to get my clothes dry. Breakfast is the usual 4-day meal rotation. The best compliment I can give is that the internet was amazing for gaming on my PS 5 throughout the whole stay. Simple to connect as well. The location is great right in the middle of food, grocery store, laundry matt and shops.

I was very pleased with our stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had seen unfavorable reviews and was a little skeptical. The rooms were clean. They did not charge added fees like some had said. I will definitely stay here again.

Hilton as a brand is headed down hill. $5 a night to park in a sprawling suburban area left a sour taste and there was no warning or note when I booked. The hotel is older and showing signs everywhere you look(hallways scratched up, blinds/shades filled with holes, bathtubs with gouges covered by white paint). I bet this place is a Quality Inn before the year is over. Breakfast is nothing but extremely processed foods and bitter coffee. The gym was very small, one working elliptical, one broken peloton, no treadmill and about 20 square feet to do dumbbell work. I received no Honors recognition.

What an exceptional hotel! Staff is friendly and welcoming. Great location. Everyone seemed to reach out to we guests as family members. Breakfast was varied and great! Rooms were very clean.

It's a little dated and one of the pillows in the room had makeup all over it. The rest of the room was fairly clean. You do have to put down a $50 deposit so be prepared this new and taken at every Hilton property now for incidentals. The area was beautiful and the location was great right by whole foods. Breakfast was okay I've had better breakfast at other Hamptons. Check out was fast.

Maybe not posh, but absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff with a smile and a sense of humour. Breakfast sure did close at 9 on the dot, but there was a nice selection and we filled our bellies just fine. Fully happy with our stay, would come back any time :)

I frequently come to Denver as my daughter has some medical needs. Typically her father and I come, today I was the only one able to come. Long story short I had an awful time getting here and getting settled. When I arrived I was beyond stressed. I am unsure if the front desk gentleman could tell my level of stress or what the deal was, but he upgraded me to a suite. After a long, stressful experience he made the whole thing better. I also went through a charity to get the room booked which may have also been the reason. Regardless, it was a great experience. He made my entire day better. I will definitely stay again.

Do not stay here if you are woman traveling alone or if you value your safety. I was here two nights, but on a separate reservation for each night. On the first night, a group of teenage boys were given keys to my room and occupied the room while I was out of the room. The front desk clerk confirmed that the room was in my name and the key I was given also worked for that room, so I don't understand how it's possible that multiple other people were also given keys for my room. I understand that mistakes happen and they resolved the issue so I was willing to let it go. However, the following night I was first given keys to a room that didn't work, and then was given keys to a room that was occupied. This was at a late night hour and the person staying in the room could have been sleeping or otherwise vulnerable when I walked in with my working key. The roles could have easily been reversed and someone else could have also been given keys to a room I was sleeping in. This is clearly a re-occuring issue at this location. I did not feel safe staying here and would not stay here again for that reason.

This might likely be the most dated and least upkept that I've stayed in. The staff was friendly and pleasant. Our room was out dated and showed signs of wear and tear on just about every surface. The shower curtain was tilted at an angle and the curtain would not stay closed causing the floor to become soaked. The shelving for the towels were all barely hung on the wall. There were so many worn things it really made me consider changing locations when we checked in. I am not all pleased with my experience based on the price paid per night...

This is my second time staying in this hampton, about 5 years apart. The previous time I was underwhelmed, but it was the best location for my business travel this time and I like to stick to Hilton's for points. This time around I immediately regretted my choice. While the location puts you close to Cherry Creek, the interior (minus the lobby) is very dated and the rooms are very worn, too the point where I am questioning cleanliness. I checked in using the mobile app, so had no interaction with staff. While the price is good, if you don't want budget motel quality, I'd suggest a different hotel until this Hampton is renovated.

  • 2/5 Jennifer H. 1 year ago on Google
Very overpriced and understaffed for less than adequate accommodations. Our shower didn't drain and when I reported it about an hour after checking in I was told that maintenance was gone for the day. I had to ask again the next morning to have it fixed, and then request for the tub to be cleaned (also requested twice before anyone responded) as after four people showering in a broken stall, it was in dire need. Breakfast hours not extended on weekends and they start to shut down prior to the end time, however basic breakfast was good.

I was staying in this hotel on May 3 to May 4 with a special needs 4 months baby and a 2-year-old boy and my partner. We were there for a medical appointment in the children's hospital and we got a reservation in this hotel through a foundation that helps families from Wyoming that has to take a sick baby to Colorado for medical issues. I was worried reading the bad reviews but our experience in this place was not bad, front desk Chris was professional I asked him with he can accommodate us on a quiet floor because my baby needs to rest after 6 hours of driving and she is on oxygen and continuing feeding through a G tube. Plus my 2 years old was tired too well Chris did that, we were in room 222. The room was clean and the bed is comfortable, yes the hotel needs updated! The next day breakfast was good and I asked the front desk, a pregnant female, if we can check out at noon as all my baby girl's appointments were scheduled afternoon at the children's hospital, she allowed us and I’m grateful for that, my only complaint sound like housekeeper didn’t know about we will leave around 12 and they were coming to the door for 4 times before noon and that was annoying. The location is great more if you are coming from a rural small town that doesn’t have anything, I was able to do my nail, hair, and waxing in that area and I just walked from the hotel to those services, when you are the mother of a sick baby that needs your full care and you find a place with everything close to taking care yourself quick it’s awesome. I will stay there for my coming doctor's appointments with my baby.

Listen to the other bad reviews here… Arranged for 2 rooms here through Hotwire where free parking was advertised as being included. Outside of a sign (that I assumed was for those who booked directly with the hotel) no one ever mentioned parking charges, but The hotel charged 2x for parking for both rooms, even though there was only 1 vehicle AND parking was supposed to be free. I did not authorize the charge, but the money was sneakily withheld from my incidentals deposit. On top of that, the rooms are not in the best shape (dirty stained floors, shower rod falling off the wall, funny smells), the bfast was out of several items 45 minutes before they stopped serving. The hotel was not willing to issue a full refund for parking (only partial) and said that I needed to take it up with Hotwire. Stay elsewhere

When my dad made the reservation, it was initially going to be a king suite. But when we arrived to the room, we got upgraded to two queens. I’m VERY glad that we got a room with a mountain view. This property is located in a relatively nice area and is in close proximity to shopping, dining and Downtown Denver. The staff is also VERY nice. I will stay here again next time I’m in Denver.

So im have myself and 3 others my wife, 7yr old child and 69 yr old grandma. We got one bedroom suite with pull out couch. First let me just say that you have to go through the master bedroom to access the toilet and shower so that is a huge minus not to mention one guy was not so helpful but ill chalk that up to staff shortage or whatever but he gave me a hard time because i wanted a set of sheets blankets and pillows for the pull out couch. I used a 3rd party app to book and it seems like soon as he found that out im treated like the a cheapskate because i used the 3rd party app instead of booking directly. But for almost 2 k fo 6 nights i dont think we are asking for too much. But the bathroom situation is the worst. 1 night down 5 to go

DO NOT STAY HERE. Dangerous area. Our car got broken into. Homeless people hanging out all around the hotel sitting in the Hampton parking lot. Even the manager (of the Hampton) got her car broken into. It is common now for this to happen. Homeless people were being run out of Barnes and Noble across from the Hampton. Guards at the Whole Foods. Denver has become a dangerous city that smells of urine with people living on the streets robbing people. We've been coming here for ten years and will now find somewhere else to go. If you do go to Denver, beware of the crime that has taken over. Leadership does nothing improve this once beautiful, safe city.

0/5 stars. Everyone here is unprofessional. Especially the guy who works the desk 7-3 I asked to speak with a manager after being disrespected by him and he said he was the manager which I highly doubt based off his professionalism. If he is a manager here Hampton really needs to take a look at the mangers representing the the company because after this experience I will probably never book with Hilton again. He is a black gentleman with long dreads that are highlighted at the bottom. I called 4 times ahead of time confirmation my room was ready the last time I called he literally said I don’t know you have to come to the hotel to find out if you can check in or not. I work for hotels why would I have to travel all the way to the hotel for him to check availability. I’m glade the calls are recorded because they need to be reviewed because this isn’t Hilton standards at all and I will be reach out out to corporate until the matter is resolved. AGAIN THE GUY AT THE DESK WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL if you want to be treated with professionalism and respect do not stay here.

It wasn't bad at all . The rooms aren’t the nicest but they’re not terrible either. Definitely not the cleanest and you have to wear flip-flops or socks because your feet will get very dirty because the rug is old probably could use a shampoo . The AC makes an annoying noise all night when it’s turned on but I think it’s because the AC system is probably older or the filter needs to be changed . but it does get cool in the room. However, sometimes the thermostat doesn’t turn all the way down it kind of gets stuck so you have to press it a few times . The location is great it’s in walking distance of Barnes & Noble and Whole Foods and a few other stores. The staff is OK some staff members are nicer than others but Chris was really nice he was one of the staff members that I interacted with and then there’s one staff member that’s there almost every single day and you can pretty much tell she doesn’t enjoy her job she just tolerates people . The price of the hotel isn’t bad I stayed there for quite some time and I didn’t spend more than $300 I think only one night I spent $300 the rest of the nights the hotel is between $170-$250. my only real complaint is getting towels and toilet paper they weren’t so good about answering the phones during the day which is weird because for a hotel where there’s people I feel like someone should be answering the phones and then there was nobody at the front desk a a lot of the time when I stayed there in the middle of the day which is a little bit frustrating because when you do need things someone should always be in there at the front desk in my opinion especially with the amount of hotels and places I’ve stayed I also really don’t like how they have you come down and get the toilet paper and towels someone should bring that stuff to you I mean thats kinda of the point of the hotel. Also some of the staff members weren’t super nice the only memorable staff member that was really nice was Chris and then a couple of the older gentleman that work during the week overall it’s not the cleanest rooms but they’re decent and there’s no bugs or anything so I didn’t mind plus the beds were comfortable but the staff definitely needs to be upgraded.

This hotel is totally outdated and in bad need of both a modernization and renovation particularly as it relates to the room and bathroom. Great location and generally nice staff. Why would you pay a competitive rate for an outdated generally unclean feeling room. Would check other hotels in the area and there are many.

Great location great people Chris helped us out made it the best stay we've ever had at a hotel. Great breakfast nice rooms and pool area

When we arrived at our room, the carpet near one side of the bed was soaking wet - not damp, wet. There was a fan in the bathroom but seemingly no way to turn it on. With no way to open the windows, this led to a very musty and humid stay. Two of the pillowcases were dirty. There was a sign in the bathroom saying clearly that toothbrushes, razors, and other amenities were available at the front desk, and telling us "we got you covered". When we asked the front desk, none of these items were available, and the person at the desk said "we don't do that anymore." The second star is for a really nice pool and hot tub.

  • 2/5 Derek R. 1 year ago on Google
This hotel provides DirectTV. It started snowing and we have no tv because—and I know this because I once had DTV—snow gets on the dish and you have to sweep it off. But the front desk just told me, “it’s a satellite issue nothing we can do.” Or won’t do. It snows here often and you’ll do nothing? BS. Really turned me off. Otherwise it’s an average hotel in a good location.

  • 3/5 Leah S. 1 year ago on Google
Paid extra for this hotel in the area because the hotel had a pool and hot tub, however when we got there neither were working. Asked the manager why guests weren't notified and he said it's impossible to notify guests of that. Not impossible, just bad customer service. The gentleman at the front desk was nice and accommodating but that was the only grace. Won't be staying here again.

Horrid. Pool area had active algae growing. Area needed pressure washed desperately. Tattered carpet in common area resulting in trip hazard. Carpet in rooms needed cleaned. The only good thing about this location was the complimentary breakfast. It was decent. Other than that, I do NOT recommend this l9cation at all.
