I visited Qadeemi Sohan Halwa shop today. Their taste and quality is good. But they had a lot of flies in their show cases where halwa was kept. Flies were sitting on halwa and the shop owners behavior was careless in this case.

Sohan Halwa is traditional dessert of Dera Ismail Khan. It is prepared from pure milk and little amount of grinded wheat and wheat multi purpose flour. There are several Sohan Halwa makers in city among which "Qadeemi" is the oldest of all. They make different kind of halwa like Almond, walnut, oil free etc etc. Peoples who visit D. I. Khan must try Halwa and the citizen of City also gifts halwa to their near and dears. Qadeemi Sohan Halwa is highly recommended. 5 stars for the taste.

I visit there to taste and buy Halwa that reminds me of my childhood but with the passage of time their taste has also changed a lot. Anyhow, still they are the best in comparison to the copy cats sitting besides them in a bazaar.
