Greenwich is the best bar in downtown Detroit. Locally owned for over 45 years, this establishment pips out all the rest. The friendly bar staff serves up cold drinks and often have a genius level ability to recall their regulars go to drinks. The grill is equally impressive, the are known for their seasoned fries, burgers and dogs. That being said, can’t go wrong anywhere on the menu. Come on in, meet some great people and even better bar staff.

Absolutely delicious! We came in on a Saturday night around 9. It wasn't overly busy but the bartender and the cook were amazing! Everybody was really friendly, the drinks were delicious and the food was beyond compare for a bar! I love dive bars and this is one I HIGHLY recommend!!

Cool local pub in Downtown Detroit, family owned from the 60s , very reasonably priced beers including IPA from $3 , delicious spaghetti & meatballs special when available $6 . Highly recommend

This was a hugely disappointing experience, and certainly one of the least authentic "English pubs" that I have ever been in! My friend Nick had been encouraging me to go for weeks with him, thinking I might like it. As a UK citizen, born & raised...I know plenty about British bar ambience/appeal...and this locale pales by way of a real comparison. It's a decent enough building...rather boring decor...& with a small area to sit outside. The service by the 2 female bartenders was abysmal. (In fact they were flat-out rude, for no apparent reason). This was a deal-breaker in terms of being able to enjoy our visit there. At one point, we asked for them to switch up the sports channel viewing to the Olympics...which they did. However, then they basically laughed at us/questioned us for watching swimming (what's wrong with swimming??!!) It was quiet and nobody else was even sitting by the bar. Even my friend was embarrassed at suggesting we go there. An unimpressive food selection also. ~ Never again!! NB: Regarding the response from owner below- if your pub is not inspired by the English, you might want to consider editing/changing the official Google description: "Long-running, British-inspired watering hole offering draft beer & a casual American menu." Seems to me that is misleading? AIso: I did not say anything is 'wrong' with your menu...I just termed it as unimpressive.

Dropped in while on business for a quick bite and a beer. Ended up having one of the best Reuben sandwiches of my life, and I've had a lot of those! Also the bartenders and the patrons are great!

Love a good dive. This one meets all the marks. $3 Strohs bottles. Didn’t try the food but it looked like better than average dive bar food.

3rd time in Detroit 1st time at this pub and it was a solid time, we met a hand full of solid people hung out all night played some cards thanks to the awesome bartender and her "special" cards. I plan on going back.

Roach and Allie-saurus are fantastic bartenders. Michael is a wonderfully friendly and hospitable piece of the Greenwich that brings me back every time I’m in Detroit.

Came here in a rush for food, found a wonderful place. Music selection is great, vibe was just right, chill. Got the Jalapeño burger and potato salad. Both were insanely good, bun was nice and crisp, meat was nice and juicy. Potato salad was good with the mayonaise in a light way, pepper was a wonderful touch to it.

Saw the manager on the news wearing a Phillies hat. As a Philadelphian living in Detroit, I gotta give a 5-star review. Go Phils!

I was walking down Congress, warm summer evening, heard music down the corner. They wouldn't serve me at the source of the music cause am too old. Went next store to GTB and the lovely server and the clientele cheered me up ! Cheers GTB !!

I am going to start paying more attention to these unassuming, hole in a wall little pubs. Didn't expect much from this one - went there because it was close to the office. Very pleasantly surprised by how good the food was - had tuna melt (yummy) with fries (very yummy). Great selection of beers and cocktails. And prices, omg! Never have I ever had dinner with 2 glasses of wine for $17 :) Coming back here next time I am in Detroit. Very friendly service, too! (music was a bit too loud though)

Got to admit this place ROCKS. Food great and beer 🍺 prices are great 👍 Got talking to the locals and before you know it met a girl; settled down and I’m married now. I was once like you are now but now I’m old and I’m happy now 👍🍺 So think a lot think of everything you’ve got cos you will still be here tomorrow, but your dreams may not. 🍺🍺🍺😎

Always a must when we visit Detroit. Greenwich Time Pub offers a great menu (all of the food we had was enjoyable) and a good selection of drinks. A very laid back, friendly atmosphere once inside.

Greenwich is easily one of my favorite spots to either grab lunch during the workday or to grab a drink after it. I went back today after not being in over a year due to the pandemic and it was just as good (if not better!) than I remembered. Friendly service, good food, great drinks.

Best Reuben sandwich…ever! Corned beef was so tender, juicy & well trimmed. No fat to be found. Great little pub.

I would give this place a 100. ALLISON is a 1000 treat Detroit as you want to be treated. Ambience and quiet for a great time. 👍 check it out or your not 313. She deserves a raise 👏

Had a great burger here before a Tigers game. Enjoyed sitting in the sun out front and looking at the beautiful architecture surrounding the place. Friendly neighborhood spot with good food at a reasonable price
