It took me a month to write this review because I am still trying to process how horrible my giving birth here experience was. Although giving birth is never easy, I’ve gave birth before 3 times, (At A Different Hospital) And never have I had a experience sooo traumatizing like I did here in my life. The doctor and nurses that I had was EXTREMELY rough when vacuuming my son out, and very aggressive towards me, and not very kind to me. They was yelling at me and telling me I need to be still while I was doing everything I could. They also failed my epidural, I was poked over 5 times and the medicine never worked. It actually made my contractions worst. PLEASE ladies do not give birth here. It’s not worth it at all. I’m honestly surprised my son and I made it out alive. It felt like we were getting tortured.

The worse! DO NOT come here even if you are hit by a bus in front of the hospital! I begged EMS not to transport my Mother here. Second day waiting on a room and waiting for a doctor to update us. Day shift staff was polite, but night shift, particularly Valerie H., were very determined to provide the worse care and did succeed in doing so. The hospital will provide their standard response, presumably because all reviews are negative. I cannot believe people voluntarily come here! Listen to me...and go elsewhere - ANY where else!

I wanted to give NO stars for this review. But in order to comment I had to select one. First let me say that the Attending Doctors, Surgeons, ICU Nurses deserve 10 stars. I had a loved one, ‘My mother’, who was in the tie care and they treated her immediately and responding to the emergency needs to her traumatic situation to the best of their knowledge and ability. And for that I am thankful. But the front desk employees and the staff that answers the phones needs to be trained in the customer service department. Their Hospitality is thee WORST ON EARTH. Their rude and impatient. I was trying to explain that I’m in another state and I’m calling in concerns for my Mother and every time I got cut off and rushed off the phone. As if I was bothering them. That’s their job and their not at all professional nor caring. They should not be allowed to work around people.

If you value your well being and have another option then take that option. The practices and ways they conduct there business can lead to your death. I had to walk out against medical advice because I feared for my well being after hitting my call button 3 times and not seeing a nurse for almost 2 hours after I had heart surgery. While having a heart attack barely breathing I asked the ems not to take me here and they still did because of a half of mile difference but if you’re in situation or have a love one in a situation please ovoid Sinai grace. It’s not all bad there and they do have good people but they are poorly managed and do things that shouldn’t be done.

Nasty Hospital! Blood is literally All out front on the ground of the emergency entrance! I informed the guard at the front door and she struggled her shoulders as if she didn’t care to call someone to come and clean it up! The wait time for the most simple thing was Ridiculously LONG! I literally waited 4 hours to have meds administered by the nurse! Then when I asked where did my nurse go for my meds the nurse that took over told me that she went on Break! Like really.. so I asked the nurse covering for her if I could get an ice water at least and she caught an instant attitude and told me no. This was yesterday night around 10:38pm. I would like to have had a name for her but she had her badge flipped over so you couldn’t see her name. Then she exited the room and went and spoke to another staff member and asked her “what was she doing a bunch of nothing”? Than the last response was “you see it I’m not gonna do a damn thang because ain’t nobody here doing anything so ima just sit here too” …I couldn’t believe what I was hearing smh. It got to the point I just walked out and left because the attitude of the nurse on duty wasn’t one of a patient in need. She was dark skinned with a short blonde haircut. She also tried arguing with me on how long I was waiting. I told her it really didn’t matter because I was there for at least 3 hours and haven’t even received meds yet. To make bad matters worse the restrooms in the emergency waiting area were so filthy to the point I almost vomited. I will never in life return here! Do NOT GO HERE!

I had a major surgery here & it was a horrible experience. My surgery was in November of 2020 during the height of the pandemic. I wore the same mask for 5 days with holes in it. My room didn't get cleaned not once nor did my bed sheets. I wore the same gown with blood stains for 5 days! No one checked on me on a regular basis unless I pushed the call button. My water never got filled, I had to call my doctor 8 hrs after surgery because they wouldn't give me my pain medication. I had one good nurse, the others were angry if I needed them so I was doing things on my own. No one helped me to get clean or try to walk. I would never in a million yrs go to this hospital again or refer anyone to go here. Horrible experience!

My grandmother was a patient here. She loved her nursing staff but the case managers were ridiculous. We gave them a list of facilites to send her to for rehab. The case managers were not operating in the best interest of the patient or with integrity. They wanted to send my grandma to some shabby facility unbenounced to her family. They waited until end of business day to throw together her discharge plan. The discharge planner Samantha had an attitude when we were explaining that this was not on the list of facilities or give us an option to contact another one. I was finally able to speak with a liason who was very nice. They transported my grandmother at almost 10pm at night even though her pick up time was 8pm. She is 87 years old traveling in the middle of the night with a fractured extremity. She was scared and frustrated with the whole process. Although there is a pandemic, patient care should still be a concern. As a fellow medical professional, I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. Shawtae the first discharge planner we spoke with was caring and compassionate. I wouldn't visit here unless I was able to walk out on my own.

Earlier, I posted about the front office emergency room staff (entrance of ER). I still stand by my previous post (some lack customer service skills and any sense of urgency). However, tonight, 12/13/2021, there was an African American nurse, named Brittany, that escorted me back to my mom. She was EXCELLENT!! She should train the rest of her co-workers! Excellent representation of great customer service!

Had surgery however their office is impossible to find online. Can’t contact to know when the hell my post operation is. Cant find doctors office via her name. HOW TF DO I CONTACT SOMEONE FOR WHEN MY POST OP IS. Is it hard to set up automatic emails? Do you know what that means? It’s what EVERYONE ELSE DOES. Also I left the hospital with an IV in my arm and they took it out in my fathers car. I could’ve done this job. Hey everyone should apply here straight off the streets huh?

Yesterday I brought my 21 year old autistic son in via ambulance because of his breathing and him being incoherent. He tested positive for Covid and was diagnosed with pneumonia while there. He is still in the emergency room right now. Still haven’t been admitted nor have a doctor called me yet about his condition. Patient advocate hasn’t called me either. I understand why I can’t see him however there is absolutely no excuse for him to be there since 1:00/1:30 Saturday afternoon and not heard from the doctor or a charge nurse. PERIOD. You guys need to get it together and get better communication because me not knowing what is going on is absolutely unacceptable. If he wasn’t so sick I would discharge him and take him somewhere else.

This is the worst hospital ever. They killed my mother. They gave her wrong medicine which caused her to go into shock. They wouldn't give her anything. No nurses Wolf come in. We finally kidnapped her and took her to another hospital where she died 2 weeks later because of Sinai. They will pay. Dr. Luftu

In my opinion, Do NOT GO TO ANY DMC HOSPITAL You may not survive it. When is someone going to shut all these dmc hospitals down before they kill more people. Just had a loved one released after 18 hours in emergency with heart issues The State of Michigan needs to get involved. They lay off and fire All that's stand up for patients and their own health exposures. They're crooked to the bone. There is another person I know who spent 3 days in the emg room. They're dangerous and very filthy. People go in because they bought up several hospital's in the area, but don't come out but in a cold box. Not sure, but the federal government needs to go in and clean house.

My experiences with Sinai has not been good in the past but now that we’re in a Covid environment, my worse fear of my mom going to Sinai hospital came to fruition. My seventy one year old mother was taken to Sinai Hospital several weeks ago after complaining of chest pain and pain radiating down her arm. My mom had a stroke two years ago and she’s not mobile. The ambulance picked her up and took her to Sinai hospital on a Monday at 1:00 a.m. My brother followed behind the ambulance and my father showed up shortly afterwards. My mom potassium levels was high and there was concern that she may have a heart attack so they kept her in the ER observation unit for FOUR days . She was a candidate for admission but was told she could not be admitted because they did not have the staff to take care of her. My father stayed with her for hours the first night but when he went home, my mother was in chronic pain due to her neuropathy. She was not given any medication and suffered through the pain for 8 hours. She yelled for help but her calls for a nurse went unanswered. A nurse finally gave her some pain medication at 8:00 a.m in the morning. While in the ER observation unit, my mother said people were banging on the walls, screaming and cursing. A young woman was alone and crying for hours. Despite my mothers own pain, she yelled across the hall trying to comfort and encourage the poor girl. There is no way to communicate to ER staff other than the monitors hooked up to patients. There is no tv, no phone or even a clock to tell time. I guess if you flat line, the monitors will notify them. Because of there new rules of one visitor a day, I couldn’t visit if my father visited for the day so I called several times through out the day to get an update on my mothers condition. The operator would transfer me to the nurses station and no one ever picked up in her four days there. I didn’t know whether my mother was alive or dead. I gave my dad a cell phone to give to her so I could communicate with her but she couldn’t figure out how to answer her calls. When she asked the nurse for help to answer the phone, the nurse said she couldn’t help my mom because according to her “she didn’t know how to answer an android phone” which is a shame since the phone is a Lively phone specifically made easy for senior citizens. The nurse walked out the room. After not being able to reach my mom, I went to the hospital despite there one visitor rule. When I went to her room, it was filthy, old urine had been sitting in a cup, her food from breakfast was still there and a bed pan from my mother having a BM was next to her bed with flies in it, keep in mind it was still winter. A urine soaked sheet sat on the floor from them changing her bed and not bothering to take it out the room. I started cleaning my mothers room, washing everything down with the soap from the soap dispenser which included emptying her bed pan, washing the tables getting rid of the old food and urine soaked sheet. My mom was hungry but couldn’t eat the food because they gave her potatoes even though the reason for her stay was due to her high levels of potassium. Once I visited my mom, the nurse began taking an interest in her comfort. Prior to my visit she said they rarely checked in on her. My advice, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVE ONE AT SINAI GRACE. Patients are left in ER rooms for hours with no ability to communicate unless you give them a cell phone. Even though they have a one visitor rule, go anyway. I understand there is a nurse shortage and Covid protocol but your protocols will not be at the expense of my mothers life.

After falling at home, my mother asked to be taken to Sinai Grace because her doctor had privileges. She waited in ER over 32 hours before they found a room for her. She was placed without notice or protection in a room with another patient who we learned had pneumonia, which my mother later contracted. For four days the staff was unresponsive, and the care was neglectful at best. At one point the records showed that my mother was discharged when in fact she remained in the room waiting for care and assistance. When staff came in to "check" the room, they were surprised to see my mom still in bed. Meanwhile her blood sugar and blood pressure became dangerously high and her breathing more labored. She continued to wait for testing that didn't happen and no treatments for her breathing. Once I convinced her to check herself out and go to another hospital for care, we waited over 2 hours for a wheelchair before going home and retrieving our own to move her to the car. After watching her health deteriorate so quickly, I am convinced that had she stayed any longer she would not have made it out alive. She is thankful that we rescued her from this "death trap." She is now at another hospital receiving appropriate, attentive and timely medical care for the pneumonia she contracted at Sinai. I would not allow anyone I cared about to be seen at this facility.

Highly do not recommend this hospital. I was faced with the hardest decision of my life to transition my mother to hospice care. To say the least this hospital created a traumatic experience for my sister and I. Time we can never get back. The way we were treated to even how my mom suffered due to the negligence of their staff and process of things. Not to mention when I arrived at the hospital it appeared as if they had a block party outside, due to how much trash was all over the place. If you can please DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE.

I have heard many negative comments about Sinai Grace but my last experience with The ER has proven many of them false. My daughter suffers from “Gadolinium Toxicity “ and has been to many Hospitals over several months with little empathy from the staff. Sinai Grace was the first ER to show understanding, compassion and genuine concern for her plight. The attending Physician (Dr.Claudia Whitaker) was exceptional in her care and provided a listening ear to our concerns. She went out of the way to recommend resources to her. The nursing staff was very understanding as well. Thanks for a rewarding experience.

Outpatient, major surgery 9/27/23 - 7am. Listen. Every single professional on my team, everyone who cared for me. Thank you. You guys are amazing. You had me smiling and laughing right up until I got into my car to leave. You took spectacular care of me. You guys are great and I will keep you all in my prayers forever. I had a major surgery and I was not even nervous. I was ATTENDED TO! I felt absolutely part of the team and confident in every medical professional who cared for me. I sure appreciate going into something like that with so much comfort and confidence provided by my medical team. My recovery has been much less painful than i anticipated and i believe going into this with a great attitude and in a great mood, assisted by my team is a big part of that! God bless you guys. Keep going!

Great on protocols and very short on human compassion. Listening and problem solving are not part of the agenda. There is poor communication between physicians as well as with physicians and other health professionals. Social work is just there to move the process along and offer no real assistance in a crisis. It’s too bad because the nurses are exceptional in every way; attentive, caring, and professional.

This hospital has to be the worst EVER!! The emergency room lobby attendants have MAJOR GHETTO LOUD ATTITUDES! and please don't ask them a question because they'll immediately let you know that you are getting on their last nerve! you get a sense of walking on eggshells around them. I haven't had any problems out of the men, But surprisingly it's not all, but most of the female attendants. DISRESPECTFUL TO THE MAX. I often wonder who screens these people to work here? do they care? A Hospital should be hospitable. kind, caring and comforting towards guests. the majority of them just don't care. But I would have to give credit to the doctors and RN Nurses, they were very kind, caring and warm to us along with the security personnel. (That I've experienced). I guess it's true that one bad apple does spoil the whole bunch. Well in this case it's a lot of rotten apples smothering the few good ones there. SMH . it's So unfortunate for a neighborhood hospital to be HOOD!!

This is the worst hospital I have ever been too. My first time coming here a few months ago I sat in the emergency room for almost 6 hours before I was helped. I was told multiple times a doctor would come and speak to us and no one came until hours later. I understand this is a hospital and there are other patients that need to be helped but the “staff” here or nurses whatever you wanna call it don’t even make it a priority to help you. Second time I came here was in July. Sat in the emergency room again for the LONGEST before I was helped. Then when I was discharged from the hospital I was told one of the nurses lost my clothes. When I brought up to the staff at the front desk that one of the nurses had lost my clothes they had a very nonchalant attitude about it. I was told that they would send my clothes to the next hospital I was at. My clothes were never sent. When I called them about my clothes I kept being transferred over to different departments. No one was any help. My third time here today I went and asked a nurse could she put a bandage on my hand. She said she wasn’t going to put the bandage on my hand and that the wound looked “disgusting”. Walked off when I was talking to her and was very rude and disrespectful. This hospital and the way they treat their “patients” is a 0/10 would not recommend coming here at all for any reason.

Having an awful experience. The primary reason we went there is that this is where her doctor of 7 years has "admitting privileges". Sadly, this relationship is over (unless the doctor gets "privileges" somewhere else). My daughter (the patient) is traumatized. We have contemplated exiting against medical advice, and are holding on to just get out as safely/quickly as possible. We are resolved that we will NEVER return to DMC Sinai Grace Hospital for patient services. I started to say patient "care", but sadly, while the teams on the ground may care, this situation starts at the top. I could go on and on. However, I hope this will be enough of a red flag for others for who have choices for their health care. I'd say that it will take radical overhaul to make things better. Overhaul is possible if Tenet/DMC cares enough about the people who rely on this location. I'm going to connect with the customer service line now to share specifics.

In order to comment i had to put a star. This was the worst hospital to go to for anything. I got there at 6:43 pm an was not seen until 1:45 am. It's 2:25 and no has come in to draw blood yet. When I saw the dr. No vitals had been taken since my arrival. Blood pressure 199 over 95. But that's not the bad part of being in the ER. A patient was sitting there for more the 7 hours before his girlfriend came to see why he didn't answer his phone. After 12 she came in and he didn't respond to her shaking him to wakeup. there were several patients that was not wearing mask and they were using bad language and laying on the chairs asleep.. And no hospital police did anything to them. It was a bad experience and I will never go back there again. It is now 3:20 am and no one has come to draw blood. It's 329am and Dr. Comes back to see if the nurse has drawn my blood. So he said he will do it. Doctor sent in at 3:40am finally to draw my blood. It's 4:49 nurse had to leave so, she comes in and leave discharged papers on bed and leave. Now, I guess iam waiting for Doctor give me instructions?? LOL that was it. I never got instructions explain to me and it would have been to have another blood pressure check before leaving the ER. One thing I can say, the tech that took my blood was the only professional staff you have on duty on 3/7/2023 @5:00 am.. This is stupid, discharged paperwork is at 3:03 am Doctors prescription time is at 4:41 am, and left out the back of ER at 5:00am

Horrible communication at this hospital. Understaffed and you have to chase people down to get service. If your loved one is going here do not leave them alone, they need someone to advocate for them. Also do not give them a dime prior to treatment. I made the mistake of giving them a down payment for surgery and when my insurance company paid them in full I had to call to even get the refund started. Now over a month later they are still screwing me around and have not given me my money back even though they have been paid in full. Will never return here.

If it wasn't for the rehab therapists my experience here would have been absolutely awful. With the exception of Jessica, Esther, and Keisha the nursing staff was terrible. One nurse was behind on my pain medication over 30 minutes and I was in pain and crying and instead of bringing me the medication she chose to come in the room and yell at me for crying because she said she'd be back with it. There were multiple times when I put on my call light and they just turned it off without asking what it was on for. I probably would have never had my bed sheets changed if my occupational therapist Heather didn't change them for me. When I first came in they tried to put me in a room that wasn't clean and smelled like pee. I had an absolutely miserable time here and feel like the entire rehab floor needs to be monitored and checked in on by supervisors. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone based on the nursing staff. If they were half as good as their rehab team it might be a decent place.

Came for a ultrasound it was completely weird they want pregnant women to lay on their back completely for a ultrasound knowing it’s medically harmful because their bed is broken and they have a good one in a different room where you can’t use the ultrasound but they refuse to switch them out I got up crying completely ruining my experience and joy with my final pregnancy if I wasn’t due anyday I would of walked out completely wrong and degrading. They never have nobody but will schedule you’re appt far out until I had to call and explain I would have my baby by the time you want me to come. All over profit they switched my appt to Monday and it was Friday you can come early so they can leave early I asked to speak to the supervisor and came out to a empty office disgusted with how they treat people that I will not come to them for my delivery and they are 8 mins from me I will take my business to garden city hospital and I am no longer a patient thru dmc

This is one of the worst hospital's I have ever gone to. The staff nor doctors care about the ppl who come there. I fell and busted my head open , came in by ambulance. I waited hrs to be seen. As I bled through a couple of pillowcases, I called for the nurse's whom sat right outside my room. Curtains pulled an dizzy they ignored my cries for help they talk about getting their nails and hair done. Someone finally walked by as I begged for help finally a nurse pulled my curtain and helped me. The doc arrives and with no care asked if I wanted stitches or staples so I chose the latter and got my stuff and stumbled out of there still dizzy and the security guard watched and didn't say a word or assist me in any way as I went out the doors. Terrible service they really need better ppl running that hospital period. I'll go anywhere else but there !!!!

I wouldn’t put a dog in this hell hole… my mother was in triage from 8Am 11/17/2023 to 11am today 11/18/2023. Dr Hassan Bazzi was the physician that they admitted her to, he was unreachable, he never called, he never came, didn’t put in orders until he got wind that I was taking her out of there to take her somewhere to get treatment. The nurses said that he’s a terrible physician that do this often and don’t care about patients much. Even his PA was a no show. I’m sure it’s protocols for patient to get services in the event of the physician a patient is assigned to isn’t available. No er doctors, the charge nurse was a no show. Horrible!!!! I wouldn’t take a dog here.

The experience my mom has had here has been HORRIBLE. They only had one transportation person for the ENTIRE hospital. She was in a holding area for hours in pain! The only comforting experience is the nurse she had on one of the days she was there. I now understand the reviews for this hospital. The people in this area deserve better!

I have been trying to call to get information on my sister’s condition and after the welcoming address someone picks up the phone and hangs up. This has happened at each attempt. This is crazy. I just want to be connected to the area my sister is in. This is so unprofessional. I have not heard good things about this hospital, but up until this point I have never experienced it. I am calling from Chicago and my sister’s condition does not allow her to answer the phone.

Close this place - they system of customer service isn't not working. The protocol of helping patients is non-exist (DOCTORS WALKING FROM PATIENTS). I SEEN FIRSTHAND - WHY A (DETROIT POLICE) WENT TO THE DEARBORN HOSPTIAL - CAN"T EVEN SERVICE THE PEOPLE THAT PROTECT THE CITY. Honestly veterinary hospital would do better than this place. Sorry - it just not fair to a city that wants to grow the city population have a 1-star hospital. BUt thankful your not on the Northeast side of Detroit because there is no hospital at all. GOT to ride down all the way to Detroit Receiving. Got to do (BETTER) as a people and community to DEMAND better services in the Detroit area.

I had recently had 2 surgeries at this horrible hospital, no water, no surgery son medication, the night nurses are the worst ever here, I will never come to this hospital again, the rooms are nasty, the staff has attitudes, and don’t even wanna give you a drink of ice water, I waited over a hour for water, and my pain medication which is suppose to be at a set time. I’m an employee to boot, I would never treat my patients how I’ve been treated, all I can say is 2 west inpatient trauma floor, needs to re-vamped and nurses need to be re- trained in patient care. Don’t come here!🤦🏽‍♀️

This has to be the most unprofessional, ghetto hospital ever. The ppl there do not care , they have no sense of urgency and they act like they don’t know what they’re doing . I went through emergency for having a serious miscarriage and was left in the hallway in a hospital bed for hours while bleeding out and could barely breathe . There was so many patients left in the hall in a bed without being attended to. Doctors or nurses just walk pass and didn’t want to assist me when I kept complaining about not being able to breathe . I just went home and carried the rest of my miscarriage out l, I’d never go back to this hospital

I had a very bad experience in this hospital, first off we were sent here because there was other hospital that the cardiologist wanted us to go to that were full for a catherization to get done, they were the only ones available to do this the next morning. But let me tell you that the emergency department was dirty, blood on the bathroom floor, the nurse that drew blood hap put all blood samples on a chair and not the table. They don't even have the little box where the used needles go. The use needle was kept on the table and medication was also kept on the table and was never administered to my husband. The catherization went fine and he had stent put in his heart but the cardiac floor where he was taken was very horrible, the nurses were rude and they also brought him medication that was not prescribed by doctor. The floor was totally empty , the nurses never came in the room to check up on him, water was never changed , bed sheets and everything stayed the same. They have only one computer for all nurses to take turns and one blood pressure machine for them all to use. One nurse came in at 8:00 pm and he was not checked until 7:30 am the next morning. Horrible horrible experience , when we went home his ivy was taken out and the nurse left him bleeding alot because she didn't even put pressure on it. My daughter wasn't even allowed to take food for me upstairs. They were very rude with her down in the main entrance. No security guards to be seen anywhere not even in the parking lot. So if you decide you need medical attention please do not go to Sinai Grace because you will be entering a funeral home. Sadly but true. One life who needed attention and didn't get it like he deserved it. DO NOT GO TO THAT HOSPITAL !!!!!!!!!

Front Desk service was great but when I got to the back it was terrible!!! How do you leave a person in the room for hours and don’t check then when you come the alarm goes off . Then when you return u really only check one issue of mine and not my blood pressure… Who sends someone home with a blood pressure 189/109 ?????

The level is care is horrible. A family member have been sitting in this emergency room since yesterday 10/2/22 around 10am with very little communication, he arrive via EMS! There are some major aliments that need to be addressed but unfortunately havent. ONE of the things is his fingers are fractured and they left them sitting out. He waited all night for an MRI only to find out, no one put the order in. He have been waiting on discharge papers since 3 or 4pm today. I arrived to the ER around 5:30p to assist and it's to no avail. I just left the nursing station and still no discharge papers. When calling the PT ADV the phone just rings, no one picks up. Trauma don't communicate with the ER, the ER dont put in order, the doctors say one thing and its just an epic failure. Sinai Grace should be ashamed!!!!!!!!

I will never deliver a child at Sinai Grace again. Back in 2014 I had my first daughter and it went great. The nurses were so nice and we had our celebration dinner as well. In 2020 I was in so much pain. I wanted my epidural but they said I had to wait for blood work to come back. Then after those results they said they have to do a COVID test. I was vomiting and trembling and the nurse just said," You can deal with it. Women have been giving birth without medication since the dawn of time." She and another lady just left me there. After I gave birth I had extreme high blood pressure so I was connected to a machine and couldn't get out of bed. Anyways the next morning I wake up and my bed is soaked in blood. The morning nurse came in and yelled at the night nurse and wondering why she didn't massage and press hard on my stomach to get all the after birth out. I couldn't believe it. She said it could of gotten infected. Totally unprofessional.

I hate the whole hospital. All staff is very rude and unprofessional. I recently reported them and I’m going to continue to report them because they don’t do their job. They are very unprofessional. I don’t even know where to start. I just don’t like the entire hospital at all you don’t get any help you report someone nothing happens. I had an issue November 27 with a nurse by the name, Martha and other staff. She left my mother in pain for hours. My mother is suffering from cancer and other health issues

On 10/30/21, I was scared when my brother was admitted to Sinai Grace. I was scared because of all the terrible things I'd heard about the hospital and scared because I heard people don't make it out alive out of Sinai Grace. Thank you to the lady who talked to me at the circulation desk and calmed me down. Thank you to the doctors who saved my brother's life on Halloween night. You guys brought my brother back to life, and I am forever grateful. The staff that worked Halloween night, THANK YOU!!

I was in on Wednesday 4/20/22 for a hysterectomy. The woman at admissions was amazing. My nurse and everyone I dealt with during pre-op was beyond amazing I had such a great experience. Post-op was a terrible experience I woke up in pain, and naked tangled up in sheets and an unbuttoned gown ???? it took a long time to get any pain medication the nurse did not offer any help except to tell me I was really tangled up Almost immediately after being given the medication the nurse made me get out of bed unassisted to get into a chair to get dressed unassisted. The pod was empty except for me but she gave me no assistance at all she left all my leads on me and also left the pad that was put on my back so my skin didn't break down. She gave me my discharge instructions instead of taking a few extra minutes to give them to my husband. The Dr called my husband on his cell phone instead of coming out to speak to him. I will definitely not be going back to Siani grace for any of my healthcare needs. I hope that these problems are taken care of so no one else has to be treated like this.

This is the worse hospital in the history of America, one of most definitely! The receptionists were trash because they were rude, unprofessional and inconsiderate of a pregnant woman’s circumstances. Secondly, they were rude to my mom one heifer told her she was in her way and told her to move out of her way… there’s a right and a wrong way to talk to someone and I will be reporting each and everyone one of these lousy mannered people to upper authorities .. people that work in the healthcare field should be considerate and empathic of other peoples situations not just here for a paycheck otherwise you’re in the wrong field as many of these nasty acting women that are employed here that work at this ghetto establishment! There are consequences when you mess with the wrong patient who has managerial professional experience under her belt..they insinuate that everyone that comes in this hospital is just idiotic as their attitudes. This is defined not the impression I expected to gain at this establishment I called an ambulance because I’m pregnant and have yet to get properly treated here after several hours and yes I do have insurance so there is absolutely no exception to why I have been mistreated as a pregnant patient!!!!! Most of these women need to be retrained and rescreened to work here they do not know the proper protocol of working in a hospital being respectable and treating patients with respect. I would like to speak with an upper superior that is well trained and knowledgeable about how to treat and how not to treat patients especially pregnant ones. I wouldn’t send a dead dog here or anyone else for the matter these ghetto hood rat women that work here are out of hand and belong on the streets with that type of attitude not in a hospital establishment that is expected to maintain professionalism.

I wish I could give zero stars. Understaffed and unprofessional they lack the care needed for patients. My mom was released from their care and they knew she was not ready for transport and placed the tube in her gallbladder area incorrectly. She is now unresponsive and fighting for her life. Please do not send anyone you love here.

A family member of mine came into the hospital with stomach pain only to leave with the same problem and no medical solution for that problem. The staff a gave them a pill for high blood pressure without even contacting their primary care physician in regards to their medical history. The staff focus more on their heart instead of their stomach pains. The hospital discharge them not only with no result but also gave them paperwork with number to a rehabilitation center and a neurologist. I would not recommend anybody to come to this medical facility unless major drastic changes are made.

Extremely unprofessional staff and environment. My return to work paperwork broke every HIPPAA law known to mankind. I wanted to leave AMA to go to Beaumont Farmington Hills and was forcibly restrained to the point of extreme bruising. I was not there for any sort of mental condition... Strictly physical issues. Ended up being over- anesthetized and had an extremely bad reaction. Then, was diagnosed as an alcoholic and hadn't been drinking at all. I wouldn't send worst enemy there.

I don't care what rigamarole people say about this hospital. My child's life was saved at this hospital through the hands of God. During my child's admission, doctors, nurses, patient care attendants, and staff were compassionate, caring, and on their J.O.B. -- EVERYONE I encountered was PROFESSIONAL - adhering to patients' privacy and COVID rules. God Bless everybody that works here 💜💫💜 all the way up to the janitorial, security, and food service staff. 👍🏽 Thank you DMC Sinai Grace!

I had a outpatient surgery there last Thursday. All the nurses were very very nice and accommodating. I was really impressed, even the cleaning lady had a smile and said hi . Very good hospital

No other hospital has a low of a rating as this one. My veteran grandfather died here due to negligence. I am highly encouraging news channel investigate this place. But only black, poor, or old people died here so no one cares:

I thought to give a review because I see only bad reviews about the hospital and thought was good to give my personal insight. I am giving 4 starts because I can't give 5. Everything was great except for one thing and let me explain. My wife had c-section on Dec/2022, just 3 months ago. Our OB and his team did a great job. Post-partum service was great. We got attended by this great nurse and was very patient with us and the newborn, and helped us to do a great taking care of our new baby. She was an angel for us. We got a single room for us and everything super clean. Yeah, some old clothes but that happens everywhere and didn't even bother. Nurses were always pending on us and on our way exit, we were provided by tons of supplies like diapers, formula, milk pump, medicines, and so on. The only I complain where the nurses that prepared my wife for surgery, they have no idea how to put a catheter. My wife was bleeding through it and these two ladies said that was normal, even though she screamed when they put it in the wrong spot. Our OB fixed it when we walked in into the operation room, until then it was all pain. After the OB fixed it, my wife felt lots of relief and everything after was great as I explained here. I was skeptical about the hospital due to the bad reviews I saw in googlemaps, but after my experience I don't think it deserves 2 stars from my opinion. I would be glad to share more details if asked.

Unfortunately. I had to have my 90 year old mother transported by EMS to the ER on Saturday at 6:00 PM due to a mini-stroke. After she was evaluated by the Dr’s, I was able to see her placed in a Hallway. The Dr said she would be admitted. I am still having nightmares of the inhumane treatment of patients who were also in the hallway & rooms. My mother was moved out the hallway & into a room in ER around 10:30, where we heard patients screaming & literally begging for help!!!!! The nurses were so short staffed & could no longer help my mother with what she needed. My mother became delirious at about Sunday 6:00 PM due to no sleep for 2 days…people screaming/crying/fighting/dying etc & we were afraid she would have another stroke. We asked nurse for meds my mother normally takes but after waiting for over 7 more hours,….. we realized not only would we NOT get meds, it might be days to get moved to a regular room out of the ER. We decided to take my mother OUT of the horrific conditions since her vitals were good & we could give her much needed meds at home. We took her home in the middle of night & the staff has NOT called us after 4 days! They probaly don’t know she is gone & could care less!! Do NOT take your love ones there!!!!

One of the worse hospitals everytime I go threw it’s issues , always have to go be seen somewhere else instead , I’m 15 weeks and 3 days pregnant which is considered me being in my second trimester, I been bleeding for 4 days and having pains , I went to labor and delivery they didn’t ask my name what was the problem or nothing just said “you not 16 weeks” and sent me back out I been in and out the hospital since being pregnant so I don’t get it ,it was also “THEIR CHARGE NURSE” who sent me out ,instead of pulling my name checking my chart they would have knowing the problems I been having for months, I love my obgyn I have had her for years but I’ll never go back to Sinai and I’m definitely not delivering my child there the first pregnancy I had after having my son they couldn’t even stop my bleeding my obgyn had to literally tell them to move back and she did it on her own . They are so unprofessional there and this been going on to long
