Fortunately. I was riding my bike in Corktown one morning and was desperate for a good cup of coffee. Luckily I was right near Lucky Detroit and I could not have wished for a better spot. Great coffee, chill vibe and a quiet space. I think my favorite thing was the location above a busy barber shop.

Stopped by Lucky Detroit one morning during our recent trip to the city for a RHCP concert. What a unique and lovely coffee shop! The coffee and scones were top quality and the outdoor seating area was an absolute vibe.

Wow. Love the atmosphere and the taste of the coffee. Try brown sugar latte. The taste of this coffee was excellent. The place is very cool inside. Upstairs, nice to relax and have that corktown smooth atmosphere experience. The staff was nice and helpful. The raspberry turnover was yummy. Will definitely be back to have more coffee and get a haircut right next door.

Absolutely one of the best lattes in town. The ambience is fantastic - very much looking forward to reading a book with a coffee here once the pandemic subsides. There are a few comfortable seats and a long table that looks great for laptop work. The cafe is up some stairs in a courtyard behind the building, adding to the ambience. Antique items from Detroit (and a moose head) nicely tie the room together. For now, it was worth the drive just to pick up a couple of lattes and some ground coffee.

Very cool and funky place so glad we happened by on our way through Detroit. Loved the attached detroit barbers shop. Atmosphere was unique and so Michigan.

One of the better coffee shops I’ve been to in Detroit. Quality ingredients. Oh well train staff. Interesting space. In the music selection is pretty on point.

This place is a Sunday afternoon vibe. Chill relax place to talk with friends and be blown away with every drink on their menu. I'm a sucker for hidden away coffee shops to begin with, but this one deserves all the stars I can give. Very unique, very Detroit vibes. I love it. Edit 2024: during the weekday, it's a quiet and chill place to work. There's great wifi too. Their playlist slaps, so be warned, the vibe is real.

Such a cool space. It is a coffee shop and a barber/ hair salon. This would be my second time going there and I order their dirty chai latte which was delicious and they're spinach feta croissant. I still think about that spinach feta croissant it was so freaking delicious.

This place is an actual hidden gem. It’s located inside a gorgeous barber shop which was confusing but once we found it, we were in love. Amazing craft coffee drinks, local vibes, cool merch. The whole 9. We loved our barista Tim, who took the time to make high quality curated coffee drinks for us.

Laid back coffee spot ☕️ with eclectic decor. I highly recommend checking this place out!

I wish we lived closer. The building and decor produces a space you want to spend time! The Bourbon Vanilla Latte and Coldbrew were really delicious. Great little courtyard out front to enjoy your drinks in the sunshine.

Best Overall Caffeine Spot in the D. Gorgeous og woodwork and vintage. This cafe is UPSTAiRs but will be moving to 1st floor soon i've heard. Excellent! roasted beans & inhouse-made syrups. Simple menu. Vanilla Bourbon Latte/Brown Sugar/ Dirty Chai are the most popular. Iced Lattes here are shaken n poured- only place i can think of that does that. Must try! Lucky is a great place to grab a coffee and study/work. Love sitting upstairs

Nice warming environment, good coffee, nice staff. Really enjoyed my time here stoned af with a nitro cold brew. Was very relaxing would go again.

Hands down the best dirty chai I’ve ever had. Little pricy, given the size of their drinks, but absolutely worth it. Pastries were good, but did not taste fresh baked; still good though. If you’re passing through or needing somewhere new to try then absolutely come here. 🤌🏻.

Adorable coffee shop is a must visit. I ordered a cappuccino and it was delicious. I got no sweetener added and at first sip it tasted like chocolate. We also tried a couple pastries, chocolate Crossiant and cherry Danish. The Danish was perfectly buttery.

Barber and coffee shop at the same location is not the most appealing impression. Had a descent yet slight hot cup of flat white. Almond croissant was loaded but do not expect anything flaky or fancy. The baristas were quite friendly, hence the stars :)
