We saw Fountain of Tears last night and loved it. It is so nice to get dressed up and go out for a nice evening in a beautiful venue! Every seat has a wonderful view and the ushers are so friendly and kind. I am continually amazed by the beautiful venues in Detroit and the quality of performances. Please continue to support the Arts in Detroit!

We shot a short film project inside the theater. The staff was amazing! Shoutout to Holly for making this possible and thanks to everyone at the theater for their help! Hope to see a show there as soon as possible!

Wow wow Wow. We saw Jesus Christ Superstar here. The sound was amazing. The show was spectacular. The theatre is perfect! I wish they had more information about the history about the building on the brochures. The Opera House is an experience that everyone should have.

Such a beautiful place! Went to see Madama Butterfly over the weekend. Simply blown away ! The level of the performance and the atmosphere of the Opera House were simply fantastic! I can’t wait to go to another show! A lot of safe, undercover and reasonably priced parking options in the area.

This theatre is gorgeous. You will not be disappointed when you see a show here. Parking can be rough, so be sure to get there early. Lots of cheap city parking in the surrounding area.

Beautiful and historical are two words to describe the Detroit Opera House. The staff was all about customer service, I was escorted to my seat and every staff member I interacted with was happy, respectful, and helpful. The sound was fantastic and it is a small enough venue that you can easily see the stage from the mezzanine. The seats were a classic red velvet and still comfortable. Great experience!

Love seeing musicals here. Even in the nosebleed seats aren’t that bad. Acoustics are great and never have a problem hearing the actors or singers. I also love to park here when going to other venues nearby. The lot is safe and always an attendant in booth.

Beautiful venue with a great sound system. Seating is comfortable, and even the cheap seats offer decent viewing. Street parking and traffic in this area is extremely challenging. Especially if it's a game day. Arrive early to avoid the most times ridiculous lot fees or having to walk a long distance.
