This insurance company doesn't care about its patients. They are rude on the phone and require referrals for every single appointment (even follow ups with specialists). They are very slow in sending pre-authorizations. I've sent referrals in 2 weeks ahead of time only to still be declined my visit because they didn't send the information. Whenever you need something from them, you have to call and check in every step of the way because they will never call you to update you that something has not gone through or different information is needed. I've been waiting on crutches for a foot injury for 2 weeks now. I ended up borrowing some from a friend. The physical therapy I need has been delayed now to 2 additional weeks due to CCA working slowly and being uncommunicative...

Most of the times calls go to voice mail and no call backs if any. The customer service is usually unhelpful and does the very minimal, and does not follow up. They will make it hard for anyone to get approved as everything needs prior authorization and the process can be very very tedious and still could deny your claim based on he says she says.

I cannot find a dr. Dentist, Therapist etc.... everyone says hum, what , egat ins. No we don’t take it.... like it’s worse than Molina or Medicare -Medicade? I think that’s better. What’s the deal?? What kind of ins is this & where do I have to go ? None of my dr.’s regular take it I really am dissapointed.....

My experiences with their Claims department have been absolutely horrible. My calls go unanswered, or go to voicemail (and unreturned), get hung up on, and the claims people make me feel like I bother them with my inquiries.

This organization needs to be taken down and eradicated from the world of health service. Deborah specifically is rude, incompetent, and pathetic. I will be filing a formal complaint with the state of Michigan for discrimination and illegal practices. This company is stealing money from its members without providing even bare minimum service.

Know the rules on pre authorizations and follow them and you'll have no problems. Always have had good customer care. Can't beat the cost of this managed Healthcare.

I'm tired of their excuses and poor service. They don't want to process requests because they want to save themselves money. They care more about themselves then taking care of their patients who desperately need care.

Don’t pick this Community Care Associates insurance, they’re terrible terrible service.

Approved a referral and then denied me after doctors' appointment, called and spoke with Deborah, women is very angry and rude, told me if i didn't like it to change insurance. thanks for the advice Deborah maybe you'll be out of a job soon.

I wish I could give zero stars. I live in Oakland County and the majority of the providers are in Wayne County. I found it extremely difficult to get anywhere when I had a need. I only lasted 1 year with them. I did have a good experience with my dentist but everything else was a complete mess.

Omg Deborah is a horrible wretched human being. Shes horrible at her job and so so so so rude. This woman should be fired !!!!!!!!!!!

I've had this insurance for years, never had any problems. Anyways able to find good doctors. Absolutely great for the amount you pay for coverage.

This insurance is absolutely the worst of the worst you might as well not be covered you cannot find a doctor that takes it even though they are in the directory and also there are no American doctors that take this insuranceThis insurance company just collects your little premium but does not pay the doctors that you are lucky enough to let you in the door this is one bad apple And if you are really sick you will not be able to find a specialist that will absolutely take this insurance at least that’s the experience that I found
