We loved our dinner at Jackies. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. I'm a Coeliac and we mentioned this when we booked. When we were seated I already had the gluten-free menu on my place and gluten free bread came without me saying anything. This is very rare! Jackies staff are very well trained and it's obvious that customer service is very important. It's definitely a must if you are in the gorgeous city of Deventer.

This restaurant is an exquisit, unparalleled, dining experience which harkens back to a time when things are done properly. The food, the ambiance, the professionalism was truly something that will stay with you in this short visit to the lovely easterly regions of the Netherlands. We would go back in a heartbeat and we really wish we could make this a locality to frequent. With this restaurant, you won't think about the cheque, but about the time spent.

Long waiting times. "The surprise box" was a big box with a tiny bottle of syrup, this was a kind of disappointing for EUR 10... Not too impressed by the food either, the hog was so dry, I couldn't finish it. This was supposed to be a nice anniversary dinner, in hindsight I wished I'd picked another place.

I've been there because other restaurant that I choosed for dinner didn't have space for 1 person. And I'm super glad about this choice! From the first step the service was great, delicious welcome drink and no problem with English menu. Waitress was taking care of me even though was quite busy - my glass of water stayed always full :) Then was time for food - I opt for salmon tartare and duck as main. I don't remember last time I ate such a tasty dinner! I only regret I didn't have a space for the dessert - must be delicious too. I will be back for sure!

Excellent choice for visitors! After a day trip to Deventer from Amsterdam, we decided at the last minute to stay in Deventer for dinner. We ordered the 2 gangen menu and were very impressed with the presentation and quality of our dining experience. We also appreciated that the wines and complimentary drink enhance the menu. Thys and Rakinne are very skilled wait staff who were very attentive throughout our visit. We will gladly return for the quality meal, wines, atmosphere, and personnel at Jackies NYC.

Visited when over from England. Great food, service and atmosphere

Definitely come here again. The service was amazing and main courses exceptional. Desserts were definitely experimental and some worked as a whole (chocolate and pistachio) but others, although the individual elements were lovely, didn't work together (honey apple). But go and eat there as it is well worth it!!

Service is professional. Food combines some eastern Asia elements, a nice creative idea, I have to say.

Everything about 'Jackies' is fantastic! We were treated like royalty. All our food was amazing and full of imagination & great taste of course. I can't say enough about the wonderful service from Thijs & Enzo.
