This was my third stay at Finch, and, as always, I enjoyed my short stay (only one night). The room I got was on the top floor and very spacious. The room was equipped with a 2 person couch, one double bed and a small work area, besides a spacious and comfortable bathroom. The layout of the room is clever and decorated with great taste. There were plenty of rooms, one at the work area too. There were different kind of lights and the main lights were dimmable, so you could create an atmosphere fitting to the time of day. The bathroom had a shower and a sink, and -very much to my liking- daylight through a big window (obviously there were blinds for those who prefer that, but there were no direct neighbors anyway). For the third time I can say: highly recommended!

Separate toilet from the shower area and there’s not an actual door separating it from the room. Quite an open area, although not my first time seeing this but I did remember it’s also a Dutch one! The breakfast is not buffet type but the display was astonishing and eye-catching. It’s a short stay but yes it has a taste and feeling that matches its name “boutique”. There’s a parking building within 5 minutes walking distance!

About 1 hour by train from Amsterdam. As soon as you get off at Deventer station, which still has a Hanseatic atmosphere, a hotel with a wonderful atmosphere will appear in front of you. When you open the door, you will be greeted with very friendly hospitality. The rooms are small, but you can hear every corner. It is well appointed and very comfortable. There are restaurants and bars nearby, and I never got bored during my 3-night stay. I would definitely like to visit this hotel again. FROM JAPAN

We stayed here again during Christmas and just had a fantastic experience. The room is lovely decorated and very comfy. The staff goes above and beyond in making you feel welcome. And they’re also doing a real good job with all the current covid regulations. We loved it!

We stayed at Finch with our one year old son and never felt more at ease than here. Staff was super friendly and catered to all of our needs (baby crib, fridge for milk and use of microwave for his food). Styling of the hotel is superb as is the food, coffee options even included oatmilk for the cappuccino which is a nice luxury. Late night bar is classy and the hotel gives a complimentary free drink. All in all I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Deventer.

Hotel Finch, Loved this amazing little boutique hotel in the city center of Deventer. The lobby and bar are decorated with care and taste and give you a cosmopolitan feeling . The well appointed rooms are spacious, amazing shower facilities and the bed is absolutely lush. If you are in holland do not hesitate and stay in Hotel Finch, Deventer is an absolute hidden gem close to Amsterdam and the airport

This is a Gem. Not only a funky place. But REAL service. Lady called our Restaurant to move our arrival time so we could quitly finish our drinks in the bar! Hasn't happened to me in a long time. Great Hotel x Great Service. Awesome.

What a fabulous hotel; the staff so obliging, happy and professional with a little Dutch flare… breakfast was top, choice, freshness and flavour, maybe a little too much but that’s nothing to complain about. Room perfect, clean, great pillows and thank goodness air conditioning, 28 degrees at the moment! Thank you for a great stay and what a lovely city…

We were there about a month ago. Lovely location, beautiful lounge area. But once we given the key, the room was so much different than the one we (thought we) booked. It was a small room. No big windows from ceiling to floor looking out to the shopping district, but two small windows looking up to the dark grey sky which was raining the whole time. And since half of it is a slate roof, hubby & I managed to bump our heads to the beams several times. When we refered this to the staffs, they said that the room pictures are just random. After 30 minutes of negotiation, we got 25 euro discount from original 220 euro hotel room. If we going to stay there ever again, I would 1st check the if we get exactly the room that we paid for.

Simply the best hotel I've stayed in the last 5 years. It has character, it's in a great location (city center), parking is around the corner and service is top notch. In addition, the hotel is in pristine condition.

We had so a lovely stay!!! Beautiful design, good drinks in the bar, friendly stuff! The rooms are lovely, a lot of little details and calm design! We’re coming back!

Finch is a beautiful hotel, nicely located in the center of Deventer with very friendly and attentive staff! My family and I stayed there for an event and we were really pleased with their service.
