Hello, I am disappointed by the 'waiting list' policy of the campus.I entered it in February 2022 (waiting for a single room) and still have no answer or information.I know people from my university who already have a room there although they applied in April (2 months later). When going to the Campus Offices to ask for my position in the queue they said that there is no actual position..so how do you know who is next? They are choosing tenants favourably and not practically!

It was the best experience I could have for the first year of my immigration and for experiencing independence from my family. They have a 24/7 service desk, means they are there for you even if you arrive after midnight and don’t find your keys they help you. Anything more important than this??? You have access to everything you need. Train station/metro station, bus stop (2min walk), Albert Hein (downstairs 1min), Jumbo, next to Jumbo is post NL service point and a lot of small shops (9 min walk, 5min bike), small shopping center in Diemen including all necessary shops like Etos, Kruidivat, Blokker, Action, bigger Albert hein, Hema, …etc (12min bus), in front of the shopping centers you can find Diemen Municipality, in the corner you can find ABN AMRO, ING, …etc. (12min bus, 20 min bike). A small tip from me, if you’re a student choose OurCampus (old buildings) cause you can apply for housing allowance and receive around 307 monthly for paying your rent. I was totally happy with my experience and suggesting this place to all students.

This place is just a scam to prey on vulnerable students. They don't tell you what exactly to expect of the waiting period at any point during the application process and instead lead you to believe you can set a preferred move-in date. Then they ask you to pay 100 euros to be put on the waiting list. My preferred move-in date was more than a whole year ago at this point. Did not receive ONE single offer, email or update from them in that whole time.

I paid the application fee of 100 euros, but they never respond to my inquiries. Unprofessional.

I have been on the waiting list for 14 months but have not yet got my apartment. It cannot be said that emails are not replied, but it is true that not every email is replied. The attitude of the reply is good, but often the reply is not for the question I asked, and the answer is a bit out of the question. It feels like a set of fixed reply templates. I can understand that it is difficult to get an apartment according to the current situation in Amsterdam, but I hope to get more information about how long we have to wait on the waiting list. Relevant information is not transparent enough

Overall not really satisfied (resided here for about 1.5 years). Price/quality: so-so. There are good things about Our Campus, but here are a few pressing issues: 1. LAUNDERETTE: small loads for the 3 euro charge + the detergent is almost inexistent; the clothes practically never smell fresh.. 2. NOISE: thank goodness for security 24/7 because otherwise it would be a complete jungle. Management does NOTHING to promote awareness + common sense. Very disappointing. 3. SERVICE(S) NOT RENDERED: It's tiring to always have to make sure that Our Campus delivers the service that they promise to deliver.. 4. COMMUNICATION: So-so. It varies. 5.EXORBITANT ELECTRICITY/HEATING COSTS: the costs easily go beyond the minimum monthly payment collected by OurCampus (and no I did not keep a tropical temperature in my apartment). Yes, they do inform you about it to a certain extent, but it's quite impossible to foresee the exorbitant amount of the follow up charges. For a student campus, it seems a bit excessive. Bottom line: If you're a party animal with total disregard for your neighbours, you'll fit right in! :)

A very cozy place where you do not lack anything, I spent a year there and I have been very comfortable. A small downside is that it is a bit expensive and that it is far away. Finally, it fells bad to have had a great experience and that they finish the renting taking away a part of the deposit being that we had left the house spotless, it gives me the feeling that with the theme of the deposit instead of being legal they are going to make money.

Unfriendly staff, only care about money - not people, will try to milk you in any way possible (deposit, waiting list, service charges), false advertisement of amenities, junkies let themselves in the common areas and security does nothing about it, overpriced small rooms, all in all: find a nicer and cheaper place in Amsterdam

This place does not care about the residents. Careless of the facility maintenance.

10/10 people. The international people make the campus 👌 Price is just expensive for students. Lounge, study room & garden is nice tho
