A good and convenient place in the neighborhood for daily groceries. But the self-checking counter would be really a big plus to 1) save the long queue and, 2) improve customer experience because most of the cashiers here have no idea about basic manners.

They have most of the products you would expect to see in an albertheijn, but the store is too small to serve the people who live in the area. You always find yourself stepping over other clients. Also, if you go during rush hour, you will find nothing you need (especially fresh vegetables). Also, they don't have self checkout and you always have to deal with passive aggressive cashiers throwing your purchases at you. Can't blame them since they work with counters that are too small ti do their jobs. Also, most days, there is a lineup going halfway to the back of the store. Maybe i was spoiled with a bigger store where I used to live, but I think they need a bigger space.

Although it has been recently renovated and enlarged, this AH is too little to serve the area (especially with the increase of student flats and appatements in Holland Park), so it is often very crowded and they do not have self service stations, so expect a good waiting time in the queue. Last but not least, do not expect a smile, a "good day" or good manners from the cashiers.

Good for the opening hours, but way too small for the amount of people living in the area. Also staff is not very helpful, and they throw your stuff when scanning. For some weird reason they stop baking super early even though everything gets sold out.

The most inconsistent supermarket I've ever been too. Example: they have so many different types of jam but dont have a single brand with raspberry jam. Also the coffee assortiment changes on a regular and now the type of coffee i want is gone, unfortunately. The only good thing about this Albert Heijn is the location...

This supermarket is very close to the university and students dorms. Something which is reflected in the range of goods sold in this branch of Albert Heijn. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of choices available and I had no problems finding healthier food.

Poor offerings when it comes to vegetables and fruits. The employees are more busy talking and laughing with each other than working. But it’s convenient if you need to grab few items. Also I find it very expensive comparing to jumbo which is about 8 mins walk from this store

A typical Albert Heijn with all the things you need. Fresh produce, meat and poultry. It might get a little tight when it’s crowded. The staff are helpful if you need something. Walkable from Carel Willinkgracht and right in the middle of Diemen Campus.

I have never ever been to this AH without a mistake at the cashier, either they scan their card not mine or not apply a discount or something else (they are quite creative) when I notice the issue, they fix it but it's annoying. Other than that it is a good market that stays open even on Sundays.

"I strongly discourage shopping at this grocery store. The staff, especially those at the desks, are incredibly rude and seem more interested in their phones or chatting with each other than assisting customers. It's annoying to see that they don't even care a little bit about the long waiting times throughout the store, which can leave customers feeling frustrated. On top of that, the store has many empty shelves, making it difficult to find what you need. This, combined with the limited assortment, means that it can be challenging to complete your grocery shopping here. Overall, the poor customer service, empty shelves, and long waiting times make this store not worth your time or money. I recommend shopping elsewhere for a better experience."

It’s a pity that we bother the poor workers by our mere existence, they would obviously rather text on their phones than being disturbed with work tasks. I guess that’s what happens when the managers try to keep cost down by employing literal children with no interest whatsoever in keeping their jobs. The poor reviews go four years back and I’ve never in the time I’ve lived here had a positive experience. Hopefully they’ll get another store close by in the near future and we can all collaboratively agree to boycott the store.

The staff needs to go on training and learn about customer service. There are a few staff members that greet and treat you respectfully and then there are one's that seem to hate life and it's like we are forcing them to work when they actually applied for the job. Today there were two cashiers, one lady was assisting a man and the other was just staring down not helping anyone. I wasn't sure if she was open and the man said she should be open, I responded I actually don't know because she continued to look down. She eventually said next customer and the man said it was quite unprofessional and she just gave him a stare and rolled her eyes and continued to have a bad attitude.

Cashiers constantly deceive on prices, enter different (more expensive) products that don't have a barcode. Stop going to this store, even if it's near your house, because otherwise they simply don't care about these complaints

👎👎👎 THE MOST HORRIBLE Albert Heijn in the Netherlands. First of all it is small, not much choices. Vegetables and fruits are disastrous. All bananas are either green or wasted. You cannot pay by cash. If you do not buy something you cannot exit this supermarket. You have to ask or you have to wait for a customer to scan their bill. Finished?? No. There is always a long line in the register because either there are not enough cashier working or it is the peak hour. Finished?? No. Cashier do not ask whether you want a full bill or a piece paper to scan and exit. Finished?? No. Price that you see while you pick something can be totally different when you are at the register and paying. It is a shame that his supermarket is not fulfilling like a typical Albert Heijn when lots of students are staying around in the block. Be very very careful and cautious with this Albert Heijn. And stay away if you do not need to buy something urgent.

Worst AH I’ve ever been to. Small store with small range of products. I can’t find my favorite pudding here. Besides, some products such as Hot chicken noodles always out of stock. In addition, this store doesn’t have self scanner, people need to wait in queue to check.

Lines reach all the way to the back of the store, and the store itself is small and has little variety. The workers aren't unfriendly, but they arent friendly either.
