Very good place to see the beautiful sunset. The beach is dog friendly except summertime

A beautiful stone beach with lots of space to sun bathe. Check the tide times as when the tide is out there is also soft sand that you can enjoy with your children. The water was cold but there were plenty of people swimming. The beach has many lifeguards and clear beach signs to show where to swim. Near the beach are lots of toilets and also kiosks for food and souvenirs. There us free parking but gets very busy so get there early especially in summer time.

beach with pebbles (so it hurts a bit if walking barefoot), we brought picnic mats to sit down for dinner and watch the sunset. There are many people here too. 😮

The beach is lovely. It’s easily accessible with some facilities as shops around. There’s a bar. Toilets. You can buy souvenirs & ice cream. It’s a rockery beach but in a nice day, in the afternoon when the tide comes, it uncovers sandy beach which is lovely! So worth waiting for. I would recommend crocs for walking as it’s very painful. It is child friendly. Watch out for a metal pipe in the middle. A lovely to walk around in the evening & watch the sunset. Recommended x

Very beautiful beach with an view on the cliffs, the beach is mostly made out of small stones. Additionally, it is incredibly beautiful to see the castle from the beach. The water at this beach is beautifully light blue. Close to the beach there are several public toilets. When there is not a lot of wind the beach is ideal to sun.

Very nice, only went to spend 30 mins before the ferry check in. Had a nice coffee and run about of the beach. Seems to be flint then sand.

My third year at the kite festival. If you like kites there's no better place to be.

The view was very nice with the setting sun, the beach is a bit stony of course. No cosy restaurant or bar at the seaside.
