A strange impression: food is good, however the service could be better... See food, French cuisine.

Worst experience ever!!! It took so long before they took our order and even bringing the food on the table took so long. The waiters and waitresses were in such a bad mood. No smile. Very cold. The food was horrible. The fries were so bad. The charcuterie was all so flag and no taste. Their bread was so bad as well. In general, nothing good about it. If you don’t want to waste your money, don’t step at their doors. They don’t even deserve a one star.

Mussles were tiny and poorly cooked. 7 items on menu unavailable and overall quality of food was well below par. Lobster tank in entrance to make look good but many dead lobsters. Sorry really would avoid this one

Ordered mussels creme and salmon. Mussels and chips cold. Salmon luke warm. Had to go inside to get bread and water despite having asked 3 times. Response to complaint was a shrug. Maybe because it was late in the evening - 8.30pm and they wanted to start to shut down. I don't know. Just very disappointed.

it's mussel season so they're very fresh and they serve fast too! other dishes took longer but the mussels seemed a lot quicker as we didn't have to wait long. We sat outside, close to the harbour, and the atmosphere was pretty good with a nice view.

Lovely restaurant in an amazing old cultural heritage building. Absolutely amazing delicious food for a really good price. Will be visiting again before we travel pack home.

Seafood was good. Fish ok. Avoid the meat if you want it nice and tender. Cheep on the cheese - to small pieces of brie-like unmature cheese. Staff ok but we waited quite long for srrvice.

Food is just horrible, don't know if it is because we are tourist and speak English but both service and food are not oké. First time in my life I left a burger half eaten at my plate ..

Food was reasonable but pricey. We had a bad experience with the service though. First server was quite friendly and helpful, but a second server came to collect some plates and smashed everything - glass flying on my wife and eldest daughter, water everywhere, etc. Could happen to anyone. We checked the server was ok and didn’t make a fuss about it, and stood aside for a few minutes while he tried to clear up. Eventually we asked if we could sit at an empty table rather than lingering around, he didn’t think to suggest it. Meanwhile, he took everything away, including our unfinished glasses and the third of a carafe of wine that was left. Our desserts got served then we got the full bill, absolutely everything fully charged. Not even an offer to bring us a glass or two of wine to make up for what was taken away (and that probably had broken glass in it anyway). In fact the server didn’t even enquire if anyone was cut or hurt, which could easily have been the case. There was generally just a lack of class and awareness, which was quite a let down given that it was the most expensive meal during our two weeks in France…

Just fancied a quick meal, and didn't do any research. Prompt friendly service, and nice food. Burger was home made and delicious, partner had the mussels which were delicious.

My daughter and I stopped here for lunch before getting on the ferry back to UK. What a gem! I'll tell you this, I would definitely take the ferry from UK to get to this restaurant, eat, spend a night in Dieppe, lunch here again and then back on the ferry. Don't skip it it is worth, €45 for 2 of us with drinks and plenty of fresh fish, in UK it would have cost more than £100 for some frozen scallops.

Not the best experience, but that said it was January and a lot of harbour front bars were closed. The salmon and green beans was passable but the cod was dry possibly old too. The restaurant was cold and had no atmosphere. I’m sure in the summer it’s much better. Sadly wasn’t worth while taking any photos.

Revised my 5 star review of this restaurant where 4 of us had an altogether excellent lunch last year 2022. This time the same 4 of us had dinner and it was a miserable experience all round. Had it not been for a nice mini fruit de mer starter I would have given the place no stars at all. Skate with capers and fries was a big letdown with the fish being flavourless and the fries dark brown and not hot, I suspect they were cooked earlier and kept under a headlamp. And no sauce with the fish, just capers. Service was perfunctory at best, our waiter clearly wanted to be somewhere else. Yes, we made the mistake of eating out on a Monday and at 8pm in the evening but that doesn't excuse the very poor food offering. We won't go back again. Original 2022 review is below. 4 of us had excellent meals here at lunch seated outside bathed in October sunshine. The 16.90€ menu had something for each of us and was excellent in every way. Recommended.

Food was amazing and the service was fab. Set in a beautiful area of Dieppe that has been nicely regenerated.

Most impressed with the staff, two very nice guys looking after our every need. Had a simple two course very tasty meal, camembert salad followed by cod in a very nice sauce.

Definitely a place to go to eat: top level of service and hospitality! Went there Thursday evening nor long before they closed. A man who was very senior ( in status) looted after me v well and changed a main meal as it wasn’t exactly what I wanted! Thank you!

Food is decent... but the service is truly horrendous. If you actually want a nice night out... there are plenty of better places. Also the bathroom is a war crime worse than suffered by the Canadians here in 1941. (I’m a Canadian)

Would not to go to this place! From the outside it looks nice and quite classy! Food was okay but the Service is horrendous. It is not worth the okayish food which was quite frankly overpriced. The waiters couldn’t care about being friendly or do not seem to love their job at all. Last but not least, I genuinely hope the kitchen is not as dirty as the toilets are, otherwise this place wouldn’t get through inspection. There are other restaurants around that have much comparable quality for better service!

Seemed very popular with locals which is why who eat here. Good value menu de jour on a weekday night. Nice food and good service (must have improved since last reviews)

Very good food, perfect service, prices okay. The toilet a little but nasty.
