Pub
food
at
restaurant
prices.
For
a
restaurant
specializing
in
food
for
families
and
children,
and
located
in
the
centre
of
a
city
known
for
gastronomy
and
local
flavours,
one
would
think
that
the
dishes
served
would
be
innovative
takes
on
comfort
foods,
with
a
focus
on
child-friendly
portion
sizes
and
quality
ingredients.
Unfortunately
this
is
not
the
case.
And
when
the
tables
suddenly
fill
up
at
7pm,
the
kitchen
crawled
to
a
standstill.
We
waited
over
45
minutes
for
our
food
to
arrive.
The
server
was
kind,
and
reacted
quickly
when
our
order
was
not
correctly
served.
But
in
the
end,
our
four
year-old
ate
dry
chicken
fingers,
fries
too
small
to
pick
up
with
her
hands
or
a
fork,
and
a
green
salad
with
enormous
leaves.
To
top
it
off:
packets
of
industrial
ketchup
and
mayonnaise,
and
Mr.
Freeze
for
dessert??
I
would
have
preferred
going
to
our
local
pub
where
the
beer
is
cheaper,
the
food
is
intentionally
greasy,
and
kids
can
enjoy
a
real
dessert
at
the
end
of
their
meal.
