Don't take the raving reviews for granted. They are dubious and it's an understatement...I got fooled and visited this restaurant, a place where I have fond memories when it operated under another name...first of all the "hardware" : had I known the scenery had been destroyed, replaced by a concrete block, I wouldn't have gone...the service was a total disgrace with only one guy truly working, the other ones being busy chatting and arguing (had to clean and help myself with a whole fish). And the owner's wife watching the whole thing while enjoying her sisha... The food was also subpar (super dry very poor hindbeh, tasteless fish kibbeh...). All of this for a hefty amount...no thanks...please close. In the meantime, you've been warned about the complacent (fake ?) reviews.

We had lunch with friends at the fabulous Chez Walid in Haret Sakher, the place used to be Chez Sami, on the beach with a great view, and great food. We had Tabouli, fatoush, sea food mezeh and an assortment of Lebanese plats with Arak. The food was as good as my mom’s cooking and the service was exceptional, not something that you always get in Lebanon. The deserts were generous, fresh and tasty. The owner and his spouse were always present supervising the excellent waiters. A place so good that we want to acknowledge and recommend. Thanks to the restaurant and our friends who invited us. Please try you will not be disappointed.

The absolute best seafood restaurant I have tried in Lebanon! Nothing compares, the food quality is truly amazing, and everything we tried was delicious! The staff are super friendly and have great attention to detail. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for amazing food with a great relaxing view!

Amazing and speedy service. We had the Hummus, Fattoush, batata harra, grilled calamari, fried le22os that was fried in a separate oil without flour as they paid great attention to my gluten free diet.

We had lunch at Chez Walid last sunday. It is a very nice cozy family owned restaurant and the owners are always present. The quality of food is impeccable and the taste is amazing. Very friendly and attentioned staff and the prices are affordable.
